They made it right!…read more I bought a Bosch dishwasher from Stewart's a few months ago and had issues with it. The service department was quick to respond to each of my concerns and inquiries. After sending a technician out twice, Stewart's decided to send me an even better dishwasher rather than wait for Bosch to try to repair it again. I love my new dishwasher and am very grateful for Stewart's making the situation right! I also bought a washer and dryer from Stewart's and love the appliances! Pam made the sale easy, the delivery was seamless and the products are perfect! I will be back for a refrigerator soon! There is just something special about working with a family owned appliance store over the big box stores!

My refrigerator, that had been giving us annoying problems such as noisy fan (that made me think it…read morewas on its way out) and not being able to adjust the temperature, even though we followed the manual, causing food to freeze in the refrigerator side. Finally, a water leak was the final straw and we headed up to Stewart's on Cleveland Street to look for a new one. We found the right size, style and and features in a beautiful black Maytag French door model. We were assisted by Brody who was extremely knowledgeable about the features of each refrigerator we looked at. No pressure, just help! We wrote up the order and delivery was scheduled for the following Saturday. The following Thursday, however, our nearly 25 year old washing machine broke down. Upon weighing the cost as well as the advantages/disadvantages of repairing an old washer, we decided to buy. Limited by the size in the depth of the machine we shopped on-line, taking print outs of some that seemed to work out for our needs and headed to the store on Friday morning. As with our first visit to the store, the salesman, Tom, helped us find the size we needed and was extremely knowledgeable about the features of the washing machine. As we wrote up the sale, he was able to get the washer on the same truck as the refrigerator and we got both appliances the very next morning. About delivery; it was fantastic. The two men were efficient, friendly and also knowledgeable about the two appliances, going over everything with us to answer any questions we might have. I love my two new appliances that work they way they should and the great care of everyone at Stewart's! I just can't say enough about our good neighbor and independent, family owned business of 79 years.

My issues were with the contractor that was suggested. After a year several of the cabinets loosened up. I had another contractor check it out and he discovered the cabinets had short less than 1/2" screws holding the lazy susan and other cabinets which broke away and also many of the other cabinets loosened. I did not call Iris due to the fact it was installed improperly and that was my choice for contractors not her fault. So just make sure you watch who you hire to install. Update after initial Review I called the number provided the…read moreday the owner left a response to this review, left a voicemail, and never received a call back from the owner. We did receive a call from their quality control manager. He was patient in listening to our concerns throughout our experience with the install and follow-ups. He came out a couple days later to inspect the installation. His conclusion was the seams were in spec. He said ideally, someone would have given us awareness of the difficulty of making the seams look good for this color and material combination. No additional discussion or follow-up was done based on this visit. From our perspective. At the end of the day, specs do not matter to someone purchasing high end carpet and paying a premium for installation. The only thing that matters is how it looks in the end. The seams are inconsistent with half being not noticeable, while major common area seams being very noticeable in many lighting conditions. Saying they are within specification can vary greatly and creeping up on the bare minimum of acceptable. I can guarantee you the majority of home owners paying $16,000 for carpet & installation are going to determine Floorz simply does not have high standards and is fine with providing the bare minimum to their customers. Original Review It is difficult for us to recommend Floorz based on our experience. TLDR Unprofessional installers, lack of oversight during installation, required additional fixes and corrections post install (many seams still show), no follow up once paid in full. Overview We spent $16000 with Floorz last December to get all of our carpet replaced. We paid 50% down and 50% upon completion of the core issues. 4 bedrooms, upstairs hallway, living room, and family room. All rooms were completely unfurnished. Pros We like the carpet we chose, padding, and color. The material was good quality and we would choose it again. When we communicated our concerns with how everything was left the first day, they came and picked up the carpet left on our front lawn. They came back to fix multiple areas of the carpet, stairs, closets that would no longer stay on or close properly, doors that were not put back on well, and vents that were popping out. These were not the original installers and made everything look a lot better than the initial install. Cons The installers left the house a complete mess the first day. They did not complete any room, left all the closet and upstairs doors in both bathrooms with our only showers. Constant cursing in Spanish until I called it out the next day. It was obvious we were actively living in the house. There looked to be no one overseeing or planning how a 2 day job would be done while we were living in the house. They left all of our old carpet on our front lawn on day 1 when we were told it would be hauled away. We would have never agreed to this since we have a HOA. When they were done on day 2, there were many issues all around. Required 2 follow-ups for carpet to fix a poor install on the stairs, multiple improper transitions to the hardwood floors, stretching of multiple areas of the carpet, many poor seams that are still showing after 4 months. 1 follow-up to repair closets and doors that were removed and no longer closed properly and all vents in carpeted areas that were popping out. While we were waiting for these fixes to happen, I received an unprofessional email stating to pay by the next day or it will be sent to collections. This was while we were already scheduled for the crew fixing the carpet on the stairs to come back with additional carpet since the first installers took all the extra with them. Conclusion They seriously need better quality control with who they are contracting out the installation. As a homeowner, I want a company that checks the work is done right. I shouldn't have to check the work, call all the discrepancies out, and ask for them to be fixed. If I was the owner, I would follow-up proactively around this experience to make sure it never happens again. No follow-up occurred after the final payment and I'm still bothered how these seams look after 4 months. I'm concerned about what level of warranty I actually have if this is how the initial install went.

The tile-picking experience was fine (I will give mad props to Charlie), but when it came to buy…read moretile, I was left feeling bamboozled and hung out to dry. And I spent nearly $60K on brick and tile at this place. First, the upcharge on freight was bananas. I ordered tile from a total of 4 vendors... One was the same tile quoted by Thomas Brick at 20% the freight costs (same tile, same quantity, same origin, same destination... 80% cheaper freight). I also purchased tile online from 3 vendors, 4-5 times as much tile per order, most California so it had just as far to go.. and didn't pay as much freight as they upcharged for 1/4th as much tile. And finally (and most bizarrely), I opted to pick up one type of tile myself... 7 boxes (by the way, freight on 7 boxes was $600+). I was told I'd have to load it myself... no worries, it's 7 boxes. But when it came in, suddenly I was given a whole bunch of mushy reasons why I had to go all the way across town to pick it up... First it was "manpower limitations", then it was "policy"... None of it was explained ahead of time. You'd think with those crazy freight costs they would deliver it to the store from which I ordered it? Also, they charge more tax than other places. Everyone else charges tax for the location of the jobsite or delivery, which is lower in my case, but their "policy" is to charge the full Cuyahoga county tax despite jobsite.
