We first hired him back when he was known as "Steve Beam Handyman," and it's been amazing to see him grow and expand his services with the launch of Denver Remodels Inc. Over the years, Steve and his team have tackled everything from small repairs (like anchoring heavy drapery hardware into our finicky plaster walls) to major renovations (like restoring the exterior of our 1908 Craftsman). One of our favorite projects was transforming our mudroom by removing a wall and building a custom breakfast nook. This was a complex project, but Steve's expertise and creativity shone through. He even suggested a design element in the booth walls that perfectly complemented the Craftsman lines of our home - it's those little details that make a huge difference. What we think truly sets Steve apart is his incredible craftsmanship, creativity, and his consultative approach. He takes the time to truly understand your vision and offers expert guidance throughout the design process. Whether you're tackling a small project or a major renovation, Steve's deep knowledge and experience are on display with every project he does. He's always there to answer questions, offer suggestions, and steer you in the right direction, ensuring that the final result is even better than you imagined. His team is equally fantastic - professional, efficient, and incredibly skilled. If you're looking for a reliable, knowledgeable, and truly exceptional remodeling experience in Denver, look no further than Steve Beam and Denver Remodels Inc. They're a standout and I'm so glad we found them.

I made countless calls to handymen, drywall tradesmen, even general contractors, before I found Drywall Artists. Others would agree to the project, but not show... and some would decline the project outright, due to the overhead work required. Josh came to my home, scoped the job, provided a detailed (and written) quote, and we agreed on a price and start date. I had to wait a few weeks for his availability, but it was well worth it. Josh, and his team, arrived on time every day (at 7:30 am), of our project schedule! Now, at the time, I felt like "showing up" was half the battle... but it's not just Josh's work ethic that makes him valuable, it's his expertise (12+ years). The overhead work required a board brace, which Josh secured. I mis-measured the drywall I installed myself, which Josh corrected. The knee wall was not plumb due to settling, which Josh corrected. The door jamb was oval, but my door hardware was square, which Josh corrected. There's probably more stuff that went wrong that he didn't tell me about, and he just powered through! The bottom line is this... the guy is very, very, good. If you're luckily enough to get on his schedule, you should hold that date.

Damien was great, and I would wholeheartedly recommend him. What stood out: Professionalism: He walked through his plans for the repair on the initial estimate visit, and described what he thought the culprit was. He was also honest about what might cause more problems down the road. He showed up at his stated arrival time every day, did an excellent job sealing the work area, containing dust, and cleaning up/tearing down each day so we could more easily live in our home. While here, he worked consistently without taking a lot of breaks or doing constant trips for supplies. Skill: I can barely tell where the repairs were done on my ceilings, which are white, and the texture match he achieved/blending job appear excellent to me. Conscientiousness: My wife and I were working from home during the repairs, and had our dog there for one of the three days Damien was working. He let us know when it would be loud, and was very gracious about working around some of the meetings and calls I had. Damien was also fun to talk to and is very well traveled.
