They are head and shoulders above anyone else I've used in the past. A professional engineer recommend them to me about 20 years ago, and I have had nothing but very positive experiences with them. From installing new wells, to repairs, to follow up warranty work, I can find no fault. Not their fault, but I had a major water tank fail do to a manufacture defect about a year after install, and they came out happily and replaced it for free, including labor. They say what they say they are going to do, and their price is alway very fair. They are very experienced, and workmanship is superior. It is hard today to find anyone that takes pride in their work, puts ethics at the top of their list, and really cares about doing the right thing for their customers. He stated they could repair today and would send a technician. Technician called and I repeated what I had told Barry. He stated it was probably a bad pump. Technician arrived in a mini van ,checked system and said I really can't tell you anything more than you told me but I think it is a bad pump. Then he stated they didn't have any pumps today. I stated why did they show up if they couldn't repair pump. Technician spoke with Barry and said they would try and find a pump or borrow one from a competitor but nothing was for sure. At this point I received a call from Hildebrandt's Well Service who stated they could be there in an hour and repair even if it was a bad pump. I told technician I had to have fixed today and was using another company. He spoke with Barry again and stated he would have to bill $145.00 for coming out. As I payed him, he apologized several times for having to bill me when in reality they did nothing. I explained I was not angry with him and when things didn't go as they should , that was what YELP was for. Barry took this call knowing they could not repair and in my opinion was just trying to generate income from a service call.

Ballard Wells dug a well for my neighbor 1 1/2 miles from my house. Our property is split, so anyone going to my neighbors have to drive right by my house. A phone call to the company was pretty much useless as I was told I must have used them in the past (they have no record of me ever using them.) We will be putting a lock on our well house. Do not come on my property again!!!

We…read morepurchased a Stihl weed eater from Ace in Willis 8 months ago and the unit would not stay running. It would start and work for 1 minute and stop. Ace Hardware Manager told us to take it to Southern Tractor that they perform Warranty for Stihl purchases from Ace. Also, Ace told us that the Stihl Warranty covered any issue for the first year up to and including replacement of the unit. We then took the unit to Southern Tractor and the gentleman that helped us took it and said "Oh yes, any issue would be covered by warranty". We received a call from Southern Tractor telling us the unit was ready - no mention that there would be a charge. My husband went to pick up the unit and was told, that it required a carburetor adjustment and the charge was $55.00. Manager Amy at Southern Tractor, says that they had to adjust first before they can find out if there were any other issues - no other issues - so they say we are responsible for the adjustment fee of $55.00. Amy was also very rude on the phone when I called to discuss. I do not recommend Ace Hardware for lawn equipment or Southern Tractor to perform work. Remember the warranty on lawn equipment is not worth the paper it is written on.

After doing…read moresome troubleshooting Saturday morning to see if it's a simple fix, I was unable to get it back working so I decided to give them a call. They did a service call later that day which revealed that the board on my furnace was bad and needed to be replaced. They put in a temporary fix which allowed one of my 2 thermostats to directly control the AC for the entire house until then. Monday roll around, they came out and replaced the board which took a few hours. After being told it was done, there was still no air coming out of the vents. I communicated my problem and the next day, the owner had another tech out investigating my issue which revealed a slightly different issue than what it was originally believed to be. They got it figured out and got my AC working. They also came back the following day just to further troubleshoot and make sure they had the issue fully resolved, then also fully explained to me what was the issue and the steps they took to resolve it. I felt like they took the effort to make sure my issue was resolved properly. I stand by any business that values customer service. I recommend these guys!
