I had no idea pharmacy providers prices for a Medicare plan could vary that much! My previous pharmacy offered exceptional, personalized service, and I was afraid I would lose that with a new one. Nope! Medicine Shoppe has a great team that provides a great experience each time! Shout out to Meaghan and Linford with whom I have most to interactions...they're both top notch in friendly service, accuracy and having orders ready on time. The Medicine Shoppe also has delivery available daily for a nominal fee. Another service worth mentioning...walk-in vaccinations during regular business hours. Little to no wait. Finally, while I have had an very occasional less than stellar interaction with one or two team members, I whole-heartedly recommend the Medicine Shoppe on South Queen for all your prescription and vaccination needs. When I called back for clarification, I was repeatedly placed on hold before Ben essentially told me that essentially he didn't want to order or fill the prescription. Which is fine, but why not disclose that strait up rather than blame my insurance. I then contacted another pharmacy that quoted just $450 for the exact same medications without insurance. Rather than being upfront about their unwillingness to fill my prescription, Medicine Shoppe blamed my insurance and quoted an outrageous price. Debi has the onsset of Dementia and I have breathing issues so even though you are not a prefered pharmacy with our insurance the convience is worth the cost. We recently moved from one apt to another in the same develpement and have had her prescriptions delivered for 5 1/2 years at the same address until our move on 7/2. I have made every attempt to help the drivers know it is a different apt building by contacting the store 3 times with suggestions. Like "can you please when Debi gets the next few refills can you please tell the driver that it is a different building and apt in person !!!!" They will not know~ the addresses are almost identical. Well today, as usually it didn't go as planned. I was told the way they notify the drivers of any changes is on the green slip of paper stapled to the bag!!!! the print is 5xs smaller than the print of The customers name!!!! I am sure after going to the same apt for 5 years when you see the customers name YOU HAVE NO REASON TO KNOW THEY MOVED! When I called the store again to ask if they could do something different!!!! I was told NO. Not only that but Holly who works there muted my call and when I called back the other person who answered the phone said Holly went to lunch and said the call dropped. There is also a convenient drive thru where you can drop and pick up prescriptions. If you prefer to wait inside for your prescription, they do have a small waiting area with a TV to keep you entertained. This pharmacy has things you would find at most any other pharmacy and does have a small grocery section, although you won't find anything like fresh produce. This would be a little more convenient if it were a store that was open 24 hours a day, but unfortunately Rutter's a few doors down would provide you much more if you need to get some basics last minute. The store closes at 10PM most days, so it isn't like you'll be making any late night emergency trips for any grocery type items here anyway. I come here for all prescriptions and usually OTC meds as well. Since I often pick up a few other things while getting prescriptions filled, I have one of their rewards cards that usually saves you some money.

After not hearing that my order was ready, I called to check on the order status only to hear that they are out of stock and have to cancel my order. Again, these were Christmas gifts and now I do not have them for my family. While I understand these things happen, no one bothered to call and let me know, so I could reorder and have them in time.
