UNOPENED WITH RECEIPT and the woman named Sue told him it was "his problem that he should know which ones to buy" and refused to return or exchange them. Came here to this Weiss on our way to the Berks Jazz Fest. This is always a stop to load up on water and snacks while staying in Reading, PA. This location has wine and beer and the prices are okay, I guess, but being from Baltimore, seem a bit pricey. They have hot and cold food to go, sandwiches, salads, deli dept and the like. I wanted to pick up some eyeshadow and although they didn't have the best selection, I did find something, although the price wasn't the best. The prices are okay on some items, especially if you have a Weiss rewards card. All in all, a nice market to stop in to pick up any items needed. read more

Very nice selection. Well stocked and clean. My only thought is that every time, mainly in the afternoon, so many managers and coworkers are just chatting it up. Standing all around. I guess they are supposed help customers, but never saw evidence of that. I just go on my merry way, checking myself out. read more

Meh. Not what it used to be. The actual store/ merchandise is nice and they have good selections but lately it's been looking dirty and not well kept. Bathrooms are often gross. Not enough cashiers too all the other stores have at least 4-5...here maybe 2! I shop for multiple people in my family and it takes forever. No baggers and 1-2 cashiers. This Weis location is my main store for grocery shopping. However, for the second time in the past month, there were shoppers walking around with no masks. The first time my daughter was with me and reported it to an employee, who stated " there's nothing we can do about it". Today, I watched as the mask less couple walked right past two employees with nothing said. I was under the impression, based on signs outside the store, all shoppers are required to wear a mask. I will try to find a grocery store that enforces their policies. read more

Excellent grocery store, always clean, always plenty of people around to help, excellent produce, meats, and fish. The fish department manager is amazing, as are the meat department guys. By far our favorite store, keep up the good work. read more

This was my first time visiting a Weis Market, and I was impressed. The store was clean and well-stocked. The aisles were wide and brightly lit. The produce area was large and again well-stocked, with interesting specials and loss-leaders. The prices were quite reasonable. There was also a small cafe in the front corner to the left. If I lived locally, I would enjoy shopping here. read more

I have been shopping at Weis markets for over 40 years. This Weis Market replaced the Weis Market that was located in the Shillington Shopping Center. I like the fresh fruit, vegetables, and meats. I'm especially fond of the store brand honey. It's delicious in hot tea. The employees are friendly and helpful. However, they have not been responsive to requests for items they use to carry. These items are from local businesses, basically bakeries. I have to go elsewhere to pick up ATV bread and Pepperidge Farm dinner rolls. I wish they would care about long time customers requests. Also, the shelf for non store brand milk is always dirty. I can't help but wonder if this is to encourage people to buy the store brand milk. read more

Much better than most Weis stores. It is clean, the staff is nice and attentive esp at the self checkout where the machines get "stuck." The produce is pretty good. They always have tangerines which are hard to find anymore. The best thing about this store is the take out soup. It is really good with a variety. Where else can you get chicken and spaetzle soup? The salad bar could be a little more fresh. Go here instead of the dumpy Giant down the street and this Weis has gas pumps. read more

Clean, newer weis store. Nice deli and cheese selection. Good, consistent service and decent sales/coupons/gas rewards.

Lots of deals and coupons available, but cannot always find different varieties of things I want. They do have a nice selection of take-home sushi, a decent deli, and bakery. The one place that I would consider improvement is their fresh seafood area, they don't have many options (I often find it hard to find tuna steaks here). Very nice staff though. read more
