There are several aisles of model train accessories, scenery, train sets and tracks of several different scale types. The prices seemed in line/a tad higher than most places I've shopped. They had an area with Thomas trains and a small end cap with a Thomas wooden train set kept my youngest occupied while we checked out the rest of their offering. They had a couple aisles of models - ships, military planes, cars etc., rocket sets, RC cars, supplies like paint and tools and some games like Warhammer which I'm not familiar with at all. I enjoyed stepping back in time while I walked around and love it that small operations like this are still around. We bought some Thomas items that were fairly priced and are happy with them. They carried everything and anything anime and Japanese from plush, figures, cards/card games to even straight from Japan video games and trinkets for Ita Bags. They even had some Pocky, Ramune and other Japanese snacks for purchase. I think we saw the owner restocking as we perused and he was very personable mentioning he could answer any questions we had. Prices were in line/if not better than ones I see at conventions and online. Overall a great place to stop if you're in the market for current or vintage Japanese goods.

However, if you're new to a hobby, have questions, or are hoping for a knowledgeable and engaging conversation, this is not the place to go. The staff come across as disengaged and uninterested in helping customers. Interactions feel transactional at best--once the purchase is complete, they quickly disappear into the back room. There's little to no effort to build rapport, offer guidance, or provide a welcoming environment. What's even more frustrating is that even basic questions over the phone are often met with vague or unclear responses. For a specialty hobby store, you would expect a higher level of product knowledge and customer support. It's extremely frustrating to spend any amount of money--especially significant amounts--with a business and not receive a basic level of customer service. The owner of this location should seriously evaluate both their hiring practices and overall customer service approach. While this may be a smaller operation, that's even more reason to focus on creating a strong, customer-friendly experience. They have an amazing selection of trains, including all different gauges, also miniature buildings, animals, people and everything else for your trains set. They also have a display with several trains set up with buttons for people to try to see what lights up or makes sound.
