Informed they could not get the RX, reluctantly agreed to check other stores and found nothing in a 25-50 mile radius. Said they could not help me any further and basically hung up. I called the doctor who informed me CVS in general has become a problem for them in filling script. Suggested Wal Mart who had the Rx in 1 hour. I changed both my wife and my prescriptions to Wal Mart.

At 7, they kept saying they weren't coming though and my doctors office was long closed. Miraculously at 7:30 they just magically appeared and were filled. The pharmacy area was dirty and unkept. I can't imagine the board of pharmacy would approve this location. Get your act together CVS.

After calling around to 29 places yesterday, the 30th place that I called was The Medicine Shoppe in Boyertown. Ed picked up the phone and he was beyond any level of pure kindness that I can't even think of any words to say. He took a few minutes out of his day to talk to me versus a majority of other places I spoke to who wanted to get me off the phone as quick as possible. Ed is truly pushing and advocating for the Group 1A also known as - the high risk, and elderly. He was so genuine and compassionate that I felt the passion for what he does, did, and will continue to do during our entire few minutes, spent on the phone together. After calling around everywhere yesterday and then hanging up the phone after speaking to Ed. Him and his staff are true superheroes trying to help out their elderly patients. From a granddaughter who is trying to help her grandfather get his vaccine... Thank you Ed and your entire team for what you are doing day in and day out.

She has the patience of a saint and is outstanding in every way. Her assistant, Kelly, is excellent as well. She knows her job and does it so well. I am thankful for such great people at our Hamburg Weis Pharmacy. I will conlude by saying that Amy Breidigan, Front Desk Manager is just wonderful. Always helpful and with a smile on her face. This CVS is smaller than some others so it's not as well stocked with holiday items during the end of year holiday season, and have a small refrigerator and freezer section. With the lack of a grocery store in Old City, the smart thing to do would be to expand those sections. But I can usually find what I'm looking for here. And the pharmacy rarely has a wait. They recently added self checkout machines, so u can generally avoid that person holding up the line complaining about something or asking for a rain check on a coupon. This CVS has been a welcome addition to my Old City neighborhood since the day it opened.
