Stopped to pick up some things on my way home and use the restroom. Watched an employee attempt to wash their hands, but there was no soap in the dispenser- not just empty, but not present at all. Suggest not purchasing food from this location, as this is a health risk. read more

This has to be one of the dirtiest bathrooms I've ever seen. Feces smeared on the stall wall, shredded cheese on the bathroom floor, who in the world is responsible for this pig stuy? You can tell this bathroom hasn't been cleaned in weeks, these aren't single day issues. How bad then are the holding areas (meat, seafood, dairy, etc?) *edit* got the generic response from the store... "We would like to address this issue" You need a customer to point out something that's not been cleaned for weeks/months? Who on the management team is doing bathroom checks? Bruh... read more

I don't know about anyone else's experience at this store, but I can tell you this: There is only one (1) bathroom in this entire store. The employees and customers use this disgusting bathroom. If a store cares so little for their staff and customers as this one does judged by the condition of their women's restroom, I for one will never EVER patronize such a store. Pictures will say far more than my words will relate. Judge for yourselves. read more

Forget about customer service at this location as the night manager (Rob) will not do anything to help you! I rarely go to Weis Markets and now I know why. I had a sizeable order $439.46 and of course there was only one check out isle open. Plenty of self service check outs - only one full service! When I went to the register there were two customers in front of me. I could see that the person running the register (special needs) was struggling with the entire procedure which quickly made the line even longer. I was patient at first. After struggling with the customers in front of me, I began unloading my full cart on the conveyor belt. Having emptied most of my cart, Ty decides to open the register next to me. Everyone behind me went to the other register and were promptly checked out and on their way. At first I patiently stood by and watched the employee struggle with the register. After a while (I should have timed how long it took), Rob the night manager walked by and I stopped him and explained my frustration with the check out process and asked if he could have another employee assist with this transaction. Rob said something to the employee and walked away. I thought, OK he is going to get assistance for this special needs employee. No one came to help!! The entire check out process was painful to watch as the employee put one item in each plastic bag. I advised him that he can put more than one item in each bag so I don't have so many plastic bags. He said this is the way he has to do it. Other employees were in the area not busy and watched as I was clearly getting upset with the checkout process! Once I finally checked out I went to the Customer Service counter and of course no one was there. I stood there for a few minutes and had to find the employee that was supposed to be manning that station. I requested that he call the night manager so I could speak with him about my unpleasant experience. Rob, the night manager, came over and I advised him that he saw how this employee was struggling and the fact that he did not assist him or have another employee assist spoke volumes for him being a manager or lack thereof!!! Rob advised me this was his first day as manager (should be his last) and that this was a special needs employee. I advised I understand that but they should not be running the register especially when a customer has a sizeable order to check out. Rob did not seem to care that my experience was horrible and the fact that I will never go back to this location again!! Instead of Rob being a manager and addressing/fixing the problem, he totally ignored it and left a customer to have a horrible shopping experience!! So much for customer service! And then the cherry on top of the cake was when I got home to unpack my items. At the deli counter I requested two pounds of the peppercorn turkey lunch meat. Instead I received two pounds of peppercorn "ham"!! UGH!!! I was so tempted to take all of my items back and return them and get my money back! Needless to say, I would not recommend shopping here! Save yourself the unpleasant experience and go to one of the many other grocery stores in the area who will be more than happy for your business!! read more

Two weeks ago I bought groceries at Weis. My old 144 "bonus points" for shopping eggs or gas expired today at midnight. Thank you, I used the, older 100 points to buy discounted eggs. I additionally bought today, $87 worth of food. These "bonus points" also expire today at midnight? Therefore any "bonus points" from todays purchases are gone, not extended value for two weeks? I understand why the old, remaining 44 points expired, however the "new" 87 points also expired. I suppose they want to only give you "bonus points" if you shop frequently, days apart. Good bye Weis. read more

I live maybe a mile from this place. I drive past it every day on my commute. This should be my go to local but...no. Without actually violating health code this place seems to be an instructional display on what not to do with a market. It maybe not be all the time, I don't know because I've only been in a couple of times but it seems like there are usually flies buzzing around the produce. The shelves seem to be over stocked but still poorly marked off making it hard to find things, with too narrow aisles giving the whole place a some what claustrophobic feel. There's also a generally tacky feel to the place that is probably coming from the check out lines that are invariably slow. I remember one time making the mistake of stopping off just for some milk and while waiting for just one person to get their stuff rung up I was worried my milk would be cheese by the time I paid for it. This place is only a mile from my house but I've found I'll go to Giant or Assi or Wegman's- all 3-4 miles away- before I'll go here again. read more

I go here because it's close to my house,I suggest you don't buy fruit here it's always old and moldy, the deli employees are friendly but last 3 times I got lunch meat I saw the employee cough and not cover there mouth as they were slicing the meat,I couldn't buy it.Dont wanna get coronavirus from Weis in Lansdale. Its expensive too, just go to giant or LIDL read more

Only 1 register with an actual person and 10 self check out lines. How about employing real people! Plenty of empty shelves too. I wouldnt recommend shopping here. read more

These guys are an excellent option for the down-home local grocery store. They have some upscale stuff like Whole Foods, but they aren't over-the-top catering to that high-end market. Normal people shop here. They've got some of the Pennsylvania Dutch basics that many other stores miss. Fine hours, fine staff, fine pricing. You can go in there and score your basics, as well as some of the fancy cheeses and olives, and to-order seafood. If you want Whole Foods or Wegmans, go there and pay their prices. If you want your local grocery store, come here and be well-served. read more

Im not sure why the ratings here are so low, although it's not my go-to store, I personally have never had any problems here. I think most things are rather easy to locate, although stock may be low. The employees are friendly and have helped me whenever I have had any issues. I like to use self checkout whenever possible because it's more convenient for me. I also appreciate the late hours since most stores close pretty early in this area. Overall it's not a bad store from any of my experiences! read more

Whenever I try to buy fruit from here, it's either already moldy in the store or it becomes moldy the next day. Doesn't matter the fruit; I've tried cantaloupes, raspberries, blackberries, and strawberries... always moldy. Why is it that I can buy Driscoll's strawberries from Wegmans and they can stay fresh for over a week but the Driscoll's strawberries at Weis only last one day before thick, white, fuz covers each berry? One day I was sorting through the strawberries and came across at least 5 packs with mold. The man working asked me what I was doing, and when I mentioned the moldy fruit, he proceeded to tell me that what I saw wasn't mold....Just go to Wegmans, people! read more

Honestly probably some of the rudest workers you'll ever meet. I walked in to use the cash machine and went over to customer service when I finished. I stood there for about 5-10min while the phone was ringing and no one came over. I went to an older employee and she told me they were short staffed. I waited assuming I would be helped as soon as possible but she just walked away and started talking to a co-worker about people calling out. I then asked another worker for help for them to just tell me they have a lot of call outs so no one can help me. What store doesn't run their customer service desk all day when their employees are just standing around? The last time I will enter this store is going to be when I come back for my money. Don't shop here, just go to Norristown. Way friendlier staff read more

Be careful what you buy in this store because they are still not accepting returns even with a receipt! This started with the pandemic and while other grocery stores are accepting returns Weis is not, even with a receipt! This rubs me wrong! read more

I don't do my main grocery shopping here, but that doesn't matter. There is one reason every guy in the area should love Weis, they sell six packs here! Cold ones, make your own, and they have a very solid selection. There's even an entrance right to the beer. I know the laws are changing, but for the time being, buying a six pack ain't easy in PA, so we need places like this. Dude, go buy some beer here folks. Maybe grab some groceries or a redbox while you're there too! read more

Weis isn't my go to grocery store because there are closer stores, but I do stop in every now and then and I never have any problems. The store may seen a bit smaller but they are always stocked with great products. When I was in today there was alot of great items on sale which always helps too. The employees always seem friendly too. Not to mention one of the best parts, they have beer and wine!! The parking lot is smaller and shared with many other stores in a strip mall, and they can fill up quickly if it is busy. Other than that, it's a decent store. read more

Not a fan. Cold environment, sparse bakery, nothing to make me want to go opposed to Giant.

Moderate prices, great sales, and very helpful Staff! Thanks for the egg boxes, which will be soo helpful in my moving:) Kathleen M read more

I always come here. Every day. I work next to weis at the gym. And my girlfriend and I are often laughing and are friends with many of the staff. Today we were looking for a line and got in the express one and then realized it was an express line. As we were walking out the girl who works in front of the self checkout, standing by the aisles rudely said "do you think you have 15 items." One we were leaving. 2. I don't need the attitude. It ruined my day and there are plenty of other grocery stores to go to. It doesn't sound bad but she said it belittling me. I worked at weis before I'm just grumpy now. read more

I go here a lot because it is close to our home but today the employees were unbelievably rude. They told my mom she wasn't allowed to use her own bag with no reason whatsoever and while we were in self checkout they kept coming around and watching what we were doing as if we were going to steal something with our own fabric bag. It was three Caucasian women who normally work at the main country where you return items and get lottery tickets. I looked to see if there was a sign that we couldn't use our own bags because of covid-19 but there wasn't any and just a few days prior I had gone in and used my own bags when I checked out and no one said anything to me. If you want better service and better groceries go to another store, I know I will be. read more

I have NEVER had a good experience at the check out here. Every single employee is either incredibly rude or incredibly slow. I have been sitting here for FIFTEEN minutes and my small grocery order still is not bagged or finished being checked. You need polite and efficient people up front. I'm going to start going elsewhere.l for my groceries. This is ridiculous. read more

When I first moved to Landale with my husband and we went to this Weis to shop because we lived right around the corner. I went to look at chicken and I saw a tray of about 8 chicken breast unwrapped just out in the open on a rack ready for sell. I told the stock man and I watched as he went in the back and came back with them wrap. Needless to say we don't by meat from here. read more

Only one checkout line open and the line was LONG! Went to self checkout and then the whole system went down! Waited, waited. The assistant said this had happened last week. Finally the system came up and then 3 times it froze and required me to wait for assistant. I am experienced with self checkout in various stores and have never had such problems or had to wait so long for the assistant. Will NOT be shopping here again. read more

Great store. Love the shop for you service. They are so friendly and willing to go the extra mile. The staff makes the store worth shopping at. Love the bakers too. Always so nice! read more

Not the best variety of items in the store, I have seen better deals around town also. Whenever you are looking for an item, you can not find anyone to help but the cashiers are always very nice. read more

Have been ordering online/free pickup at store for last several years -- as am handicapped! Have been THRILLED with this service!!! Clerks - especially Roseanne!!! - have been exceptionally helpful! They call me if substitutions must be made, or if I have concerns, as to meat orders, etc. (Butchers have been very helpful as to quantities of meats!). I recommend them highly to everyone I know!! No minimum order they tell me, but I usually order every week & half or two. Try it! You'll LOVE it!! Meg B. read more

Wow. I'm surprised at the "lack of variety" and products because I come here to find *anything* I need, especially baking supplies. I also find that they have a great variety of produce and it's always fresh (Redner's is always NOT fresh!). I love the size of the store, the employees are always helpful and kind. I get great coupons in the mail, amazing deals with my "Weis card" - I always choose to go here over Giant. The only thing I wish they'd carry is uncured bacon. Oh well. I'll get over it. Of course, I've never tried actually asking customer service! ;) read more

This store has changed so much for the better over the last couple of years! Their meat is the best in the area ( beside Costco), nice produce section and nice selection of other items. Even the seafood department has improved greatly! New insurance laws made me leave my pharmacy of 15 years but I find the pharmacy to be friendly, timely and competent! I now only shop Weis or Wegmans. read more

Worst customer service ever!! Slowest cashier & when I had the nerve to make sure something rang up on sale, he said "I told you at the end." Not to mention some of the rudest customers, they apparently don't realize other people might want to walk down the aisles. Spend the extra money and go to Wegmans. read more

This is where I go when I need to pick up a few things on the way home from work. I also like to shop their sales- get some great deals that way. Also, if an item rings up with the wrong price, they give you a refund. You can get a large plain pizza for $5. They sell Merrymead milk. I go here about once a week now. read more

Weis has not changed much throughout the years!! It's still dirty and filthy on the front end and in the back. It's not easy when you work at store that you can't stand and breathe in dust all the time. Serious lack of communication, work ethic among night workers, and respect!! The management who knows??? You get rude comments for doing your job right and trying to do the right thing? Really strange behavior with the management team, the employees work the hardest and not sit in office talking nonsense all day. Nobody overlooks and management needs to be under a microscope more because things are not up to par. It goes for perishable, deli, and grocery managers as well. If managers don't treat employees with respect than what's the point of working here!! They get paid to deal with complaints, issues, and resolve issues not employees who have nothing to do with wrong prices and out of stock items and wrong signs. It wouldn't hurt to schedule more people to, every weekend it's busy and I'm sure Weis makes enough to schedule more people, it always about money and not about the customers. Even anything, I'm embarrassed to work here with all the issues surrounding Weis in Lansdale, my family and friends don't really shop here either. That's because they've seen cleaner stores, too many pricing issues, and fewer long lines at checkout. I give 2/10 for work experience, teamwork, cleanliness, management it's beyond BAD!!! read more
