Loved this store as it's on my way home from work and easy to swing in for dinner supplies. It's clean, neat and usually empty enough that I can get in and out quickly. One BIG downside though... the hours right around when customers might pop in after work (6-7ish) they always seem to have someone going around the store with a floor polishing machine. It's loud, it puts out terrible smelling exhaust fumes and the operators often DONT CARE who's in the way as they push it down the aisle paying more attention to their phone than where they're going. The other day the person even pushed it down my checkout aisle WHILE I WAS CHECKING OUT! I'm done with Weis, this never happens anywhere else. read more

Just one open cashier/register on a busy, busy, Labor Day afternoon??!! That's Weis in Franklin--trying to do everything possible to push people to go to the miserable Shoprite just up the road. But for the customers who want to support Weis, there's zero appreciation in return, just one slap in the face after another! With some corporate scamming thrown in, as well! On the lousy self-selve registers, the software has trouble holding the scanned store card information during a multi-item order, which would be most transactions...and keeps knocking the store card necessary to obtain the sale prices off the profile! Despite scanning of the store card with assistance of a manager multiple times, sale prices still wouldn't show, causing the register to overcharge and reflect the original inflated price! Pepperidge Farm Double Dark Chocolate Milano Cookies, for eg., were supposed to be on sale for $3.99, but at Weis's faulty self-serve register, they were $4.99, causing us to overpay. Then, for the real fun and humiliation, we had to go to the customer service counter (I use the term loosely) to get the overcharge corrected, where the female employee said, quoting, "I don't want to hear your story!" More checkers need to be hired, and employees on duty need to immediately help out at other registers when the line of customers on the one open hits 10 people--or even more than 5 or 6 people! Fix the software to reflect sale prices, for goodness sake, and accommodate customers with disabilities. Who needs to spend Labor Day at the pool or beach, when you can waste away at the Franklin Weis and be made to feel like two cents? read more

Weis Market finds the absolute best employees! The Franklin store is neat and clean and not overstocked with boxes in the aisles like our local Shop Rite. It is quick and easy if I'm in a hurry and still a pleasure to shop in if I have to get a lot of groceries. The bottom line though, is the helpfulness and genuine sincerity of the employees who always manage to put a smile on my face. I have noted the same with employees in the Newton store. Happy Thursday my fellow Adventurers! This was my first time stopping by a Weis, and wow. I'm a loyal Shoprite and Wegmans shopper, this combines both of them. I love the layout and it's easy to maneuver, considering its just a super market. Produce seems really fresh, the isles were wide and clean. I know sometimes the isles become crowded but here it wasn't the case. I will definitely go back here for future shopping. Staff was really helpful and walked us right to the isle and product we were looking for. read more

So I want to share my experience at Weis recently : I was on line and when it was my turn the cashier said to me, "Sir, you need to stand behind the plexiglass." Oh wow, my bad I thought. After all that's what it's there for right? So now I'm standing as told behind the plexiglass but I can't see what she's ringing up. (I usually stand by the credit card machine so I can see what is being scanned and the correct price.) So I start to think of the customer before me and she was yakking away with her and she didn't ask her to stand behind the plexiglass. I decide to wait to observe the next customer and same thing: She didn't ask her to stand behind the plexiglass. But I let it go. About a week later I end up on her line again and upon noticing it was the same lady, I dutifully stood behind the plexiglass. This time she says, "Sir you need to stand at the end." I must have looked confused and didn't move so she reached over and pulled my wagon to the end and pointing for me to stand where someone who would pack your groceries would stand. Well I completely lose it. I look around and motion, "I don't see ANY OTHER CUSTOMER here standing at the end or even behind the plexiglass. Tell me. What's wrong with me? What's different about me huh?!" At this point she said "Sir I'm just doing my job." " I said well you need to be consistent then. I didn't see the person before be either time on your line stand behind the plexiglass or at the end. Never actually on anyone's line!" And yes I was wearing a mask and wasn't coughing or showing any Covid symptoms. Anyway that's my rant. Clean well stocked store with very good local produce meat and dairy items. Bakery is good but has deleted items which we can find at other sores such as Portuguese Rolls from Texeira Bakery in Newark. Unlike most supermarkets, it does not have the annoying lane obstructing displays like Shop Rite and consistently has lower prices than Shop Rite and Acme. read more

Cleaner than shop rite which is a quarter mile away and always less chaotic. While shop rite has better produce and is a lot larger this is my go to store for a quick shop. read more

I stopped here to look for Yogi teas, they has a few varieties but not the flavor I was seeking. All of a sudden I had to pee very badly. I asked a female clerk where the restrooms were and she kindly led me towards where they are located and point them out to me. The restroom was very clean. They had a rack of discounted bakery items near the bathrooms where no one can see them which is gross and worthless. Put them in an area where people can find them or donate this stuff to a local charity. read more

Such a great market! You can count on fresh produce, excellent roasted chickens, and a nice variety of products. Also, the store is spacious, which has been great during Covid. There are a few markets in the area, but I think this is the best! read more

This Weis location has always been a pleasure to visit. Easy enterance and exit to the property, and always clean with great parking. As you enter the store it is clean and welcoming. The staff is amazing. I couldn't find an item on my list, asked a man stalking shelves (turned out to be store manager) he went above and beyond to try and locate it. The cashiers are friendly, well dressed, professional, and helpful with a coupon question or a location of item question. They also offer a curb side shopping which I'm going to try! read more

This is one of the smaller supermarkets around like Fresh Emporium. But the prices are good, and the salad bar is always fresh and the soups are always tasty! Saying it's a small store, I am impressed that they have some stuff that Shop-Rite and Stop and Shop don't. Staff = Amazing All in all I love this store, and you should comeback. read more

This store has been continually going downhill! I'm so shocked that they've let it go like this! It is FAR from clean with debris, food pieces, and literal dirt all over the floors of many of the aisles. Such a shame because the employees of this store are so nice and helpful most of the time. The bathroom for the ladies was so disgusting I literally gagged. There was feces on two out of the three toilets and the floors were also sticky and disgusting. The sinks were laden with filth as well. Where food is sold the area NEEDS to be clean!!! Shame on you guys! read more

I just moved to the area so I was not sure what to expect as I have never shopped at Weis before. The store itself was fine, clean and pleasant, but the deli was awful. There was a long line and only one person helping customers, there were others behind the deli counter but were not helping customers. The person who helped me was rude, not friendly at all. This store is a nightmare. You cannot do all your shopping in this store. They don't carry a lot of your average things that a Shoprite would carry, its okay for milk, butter but they don't have everything. The prices are also very high, I went their for rye bread and they had one brand Pepperidge farm. The deli people are very rude as well and it seems like your bothering them when you go up to the counter to place your order. read more

After being a loyal customer since they opened, I'm never shopping here again. They don't honor their store policies (if an item is priced wrong, it's free) without being reminded of it. so the customers are expected to know what the policy is or they'll just give it to you for the sale price. I didn't write the policy, they did, it needs to be honored. They also don't carry a decent variety of vegetarian products, all of the local competitors have been carrying huge selections of Vegetarian foods for years. Not Weis, just a handful of run of the mill options. They also play this silly game where they announce over the loud speaker "Security line 4" which usually correlates to an aisle in the store where "a suspicious looking person" might be shopping. And here's the thing, they don't have security, and why would security be getting 20 phone calls an hour? I used to enjoy shopping here, I recommended it to everyone, but I AM DONE.
