I would give the soup dumplings three stars; we have had something similar near the Hot Metal Bridge that we enjoyed more but these were good. My meal was the crispy fried chicken and garlic sauce. My first bit of the dish had a bone and some cartilage but that was the exception. This is dark meat chicken, not a chicken breast, and it is juicy and flavorful. No vegetables come with this dish. My wife had the chicken and green beans...her meal was excellent, mine was very good. We do hope to return and I would, personally, try something different next time. Overall, the food was enjoyable, and the service was very good. The ambiance was pleasant, with a comfortable atmosphere that made it easy to have a conversation without feeling rushed or distracted. Overall, a very enjoyable meal, and a place I would be happy to visit again!

We ordered takeout this time, and the overall experience was great. We placed an order online, and everything was very neatly packaged and ready to go when expected. The food even travelled fairly well, such that it was still in good shape after traveling home. The restaurant itself is in a bit of a drab strip mall, but it's generally nicely decorated with colorful signage and a nicely kept interior. In terms of the food, the shrimp spinach dumplings were really nicely done, with lots of flavor and texture. My partner especially enjoyed the barbecue pork bao, which were nicely steamed with a very flavorful filling. The egg tart was good, but not really my thing. It had a bit of a caramelized sugar flavor reminiscent of waffles with syrup. The spicy oil splashed noodles, one of the noodle dishes on the menu, was generally lacking: some nice toppings, but not much flavor. Overall, this is a nice little place that seems to be fairly well run. I suggest going for the dim sum and giving up on expectations for anything on the menu that isn't dim sum. Find another restaurant for your main course.

Sometimes I find that food quality suffers a little by the time it gets home but that was not the case here. I was super impressed about how well packed it was and how warm all my food was when I opened it at home. The restaurant is very spacious with lots of tables available for smaller or bigger groups. Their service is quick both when you are dining in and for takeout. The staff is really nice and helpful in providing recommendations. My personal favorite items are: - Steamed Crystal Shrimp Dumpling - Chicken & Corn Dumpling - Crispy Popcorn Chicken - Dan Dan Noodle

I have been searching for a properly prepared General Tso Chicken in the Beaver area since we moved…read morehere. After ordering from Taiwan 101, sadly, I will have to keep looking. While they have come the closest to the right combination of sweet, tart and spicy with the sauce, the sauce seemed more of a superficial coating...not marinated into the chicken as usual. Broccoli is also customary and there was none included. Dinner portion size was only average and the rice portion was rather small. Disappointment at a premium price. **UPDATE** Much better the second day after the chicken breading had a chance to absorb the sauce. One star was added for those who have the patience to save your order for the second day. Back to small rice portions, every Chinese takeout I have ever had in this lifetime has included the familiar small cardboard rice container *packed* with rice. In this case, both fried and white just barely reached the top of their respective containers. No big deal, right? It's just a few cents worth of rice, right? No. Repeat business is about exceeding expectations based on what is customary in your market segment, not just barely meeting them. A few cents of rice is trivial, but it did cost them a mulligan on the General Tso's and a possible future visit to try something else.

As soon as I tasted it, I suspected it wasn't real crab meat. There is a distinct smell with imitation crab and it's often used because it's cheaper. This crab also was rubbery and had thin lines in it. I asked the server if they used imitation crab and she said no, but I have a hard time believing that. The smell was so disagreeable that it ruined the rest of the meal, which was cold. This will probably be the last time I come here because there are too many other Asian and Thai restaurants arhat serve better food.

The service is consistently prompt and friendly, prices are fair, and the sushi is excellent. On our latest visit, we ordered the vegetable fried rice, sautéed broccoli with tofu, lobster combo, cold noodles with sesame sauce, spicy tuna roll, and Philadelphia roll. The vegetarian dishes were generously portioned and well seasoned, with the tofu crisped especially well. The sushi was fresh and flavorful, and the creatively presented lobster combo was the highlight of the meal. After many years of visits, this remains an easy recommendation for consistently good food and friendly service.

The outside and is beautiful and well maintained (bonus - the side parking lot is the way to go for ease!) The interior is stunning with vaulted ceilings and elegant decor. It is awesome to see a restaurant take pride in their building! The food also matches everything else! A menu comparable to The Cheesecake Factory with Japanese, Chinese, and even Taiwanese options! After the crispy wontons with duck sauce, I ordered the: - Chicken Egg Roll - fully packed with chicken and veggies, they didn't drip with grease and were perfectly crisp. I might stop by just to grab an egg roll somedays - Tempura Shrimp Roll - my go-to for sushi and they make it great!! - Spider Roll - soft shell crab that might end up cracking into my repertoire of sushi - Hawaiian Chicken - with the table fanfare of a sizzling plate, the breaded chicken is different than most Asian dishes with more of a panko crust, the pineapple and pepper are so tender and flavor, and a sauce that has so much sweetness and a little spice!! The waiters kept our water topped off and constantly were ready to clear plates between courses!
