I had attempted to replace a garbage disposal, but had an issue with a pipe falling apart. I emailed Rick after 9pm that night, and he responded to my email by calling before 8am the next morning. On the phone call, Rick clearly explained the work to be completed. Rick made the service call himself early in the afternoon, and resolved my issues quickly. He was able to access our crawl space, and navigate his way down there to running a new pipe for my kitchen sink. He installed the Garbage disposal, and cleared the clogged sink drain. The work was performed professionally, quickly.. and priced reasonably. The bill clearly listed all work performed, and detailed pricing. My partner purchased her home several years ago and I noticed some wires were exposed in the garage…read moreand basement that 'didn't look right'. I called an electrical inspector who came out and did a complete inspection of the home. He found several electrical wires that were high voltage and not installed properly violating code. In addition, he made several recommendations regarding other issues in the home. We asked if there was an electrical contractor he could recommend that could do the required work in addition to several other small items we wanted to address (lights not working-fans that were working sporadically-broken doorbell-exterior outlet that needed removal). He recommended Powell's Electric - he said he knew the family that owned the company for decades and they were excellent. I contacted Powell's and they sent two technicians to our home - it was very easy scheduling an appointment, and they came right on time. They spent over 3 hours repairing the faulty installation of the high voltage wires, removing excessive, exposed wiring that was no longer connected to anything. They repaired the doorbell, outside lighting, removed the electrical outlet in the front yard that was for sidewalk lights that were no longer there. They completed all of the work efficiently and diligently. We felt very confident they knew exactly how to approach each issue. We are so grateful to have the electrical wiring in the home up to code and all the repairs completed! Powell's was a great recommendation, and we will use them if we ever have any future electrical issues!

On the first occasion, Millman installed all new lighting fixtures throughout my place, which I had pre-purchased online. Most were replacements, three required new mounts and runs. Also had motion sensitive switches and dimmer switches installed. I supplied LED bulbs to be used in each fixture. Outstanding job. The second time, I had most of the electrical in my two bathrooms updated, new LED ceiling fans, LED lighting over the shower in one bath and the tub in another, and the bathroom switching reworked. Also great job. The most recent time I had Brian replace all the Occupancy switches in my place because I was unhappy with the old ones I had chosen. Two other external light switches were replaced with versions with digital timers. Again, terrific job.
