At one point, Dr. Tran personally called my husband to cancel an appointment -- and then we were charged for that call, which was really disappointing. I've talked to the staff twice, they admit they told us no charge but unfortunately there is nothing they can do. They also tried to refer us to an out of network specialist. Luckily we looked first. In my opinion, this office was fine for routine annual physicals only. But if you need anything outside of that, it turns into a real hassle and you don't feel supported. We've been patients here for about 10 years, but we're now changing doctors because the customer service has gone downhill and it no longer feels like they truly care about their patients. Probably good with new patients but beware.

Always answers our questions leisurely, the kids love her, and we can usually see her upon short notice or else her associates see us - also good. Her nurse practitioner, Joan Hofer, is outstanding. My insurance no longer covers routine physicals, which the baby still has often, and Dr. Eckberg was cool enouh to reduce her fee which really helped. Nice nurses and receptionists (great phone skills!). You never feel like you're talking with clock-watchers.

I waited for about 10 minutes then a person that was discharged had a question for the intake person about where his prescription was sent, which she took the time to try and answer before checking me in (which was fine at the time). When she finished with the discharged patient, she begins my check in and asks me to verify my address. She then stepped away and when she returned told me she had just been told that they could not see anyone else that day. I did not take the time to discuss the unfairness and ridiculousness of this decision as my ride had just told me he was going to run an errand while I waited to be seen. I wanted to catch him before he left, because I didn't want to be stranded. This was easily the worst experience with a medical office reception area. It is now abundantly clear why your ratings are so low. If anyone in this office has a goal to improve that for 2026, you really need to take time to train people when and under what circumstances to stop seeing patients.

Dr. Anderson excels as a diagnostician…read more Hearing the same symptoms, Dr. Anderson got the diagnosis (and treatment) right when 2 dentists, 2 ER doctors, and 1 neurologist were headed in other directions. Similarly, about 3 years ago when I first met Dr. Anderson, she diagnosed sleep apnea when it was missed for the 7 prior years by a neurologist and 2 previous primary care physicians. I prefer Dr. Anderson's Skokie office location; where her staff are warm and helpful at getting tests approved or expedited.
