I spoke with the media blast person and asked specifically to insure that they did not warp the hood and trunk lid, the media blast person insured me he knew what he was doing and would be careful. Got the car body back and noticed they primed the fenders and doors in gray and the rest of the body, hood and trunk lid in flat black primer. Spoke with Ana about getting on their list to have the rest of my car restoration work done by Mace Performance. She said she would add me to the list. I waited for quite a few months and would stop by occasionally to see where I was in line. First check in, Ana was not there so left my name and number, no return phone call, 2nd attempt same result, 3rd attempt same result and so on. This is spread out over several more months. I stopped by in person and finally get a employee who informs me that Mace Performance will no longer be doing car restorations. I leave my name and number for Ana to call me, again no return phone call. I then go and seek out another company to begin body work on my car, they then start the body work process and notice that the hood and truck lid sheet metal is warped from the media blasting from Mace Performance. I did not notice it until they pointed it out to me due to the flat black primer. Needless to say I am extremely disappointed in Mace Performance and would not recommend them to any one. Why a company would not return a simple phone call to a paying customer is beyond me. Probably because they knew they destroyed my hood and trunk lid. Worst customer service ever!!

All we needed was the tire looked at to see if theres a nail or scree in it. I have dealt with this issue with my tires many times a year,since moving out this way 9 years ago, soni have been to many many tire places to deal with this, and never once have to ever been told they won't help me, come back on a different date, or my PSI is fine, and not even check the tire. Well, all 3 of those happened here. Pulled up, said one tore keeps fluctuating between 26 to 30 PSI, and to please check if something has punctured the tire, and the child responded with asking where we bought the tires, as if that was relevant, then said a 28 PSI os fine. Then we said we'll, you're a tire shop, so can you please check the tire to confirm nothings in it, so we can then see if we need a new sensor, and he declined, and seriously told us that because a person was coming in soon with a car, he couldn't helpbus and to come a different date. We stared at him in shock and simply said ok...... and then got the hell out of there. Total worthless tire shop. Like, we still cannot get over how ridiculous that guy is

I cannot recommend them highly enough. After four plus years at other shops I know a bit about the process. I'll spare you the ups and downs of the whole journey but there was a point where I had to pull the plug on the second shop with some tasks remaining. Vintage Hot Rod was able to pick up and finish their work and correct mistakes that had been made. This shop has several guys working on projects, so the collective expertise is there to make sure that problems can be solved. They finished installing trim pieces, fixed the other guys mistakes in wiring and got it running again. All in short order. And yes, they communicated well with me the entire time. A word to anyone thinking of getting into classic cars; it takes a lot of money and it takes a lot of time. More of both than you will ever anticipate. If you think you are going to get a car and fix it up for cheap...you won't. It's far better to get a car that's already finished. There are lots of unpleasant surprises when you start rehabbing a car. Vintage Hot Rod did not do my body work. Their estimate was too high for me. I went with a shop that had a little better deal but less collective experience. In retrospect, I think I should have gone with Vintage Hot Rod. It may have been less expensive in the long run as it would have been done right the first time. Hindsight...
