We texted around 8am with our details and requested "this evening at 7:30pm". and I was told I was "confirmed". I told her we had pets and to let me know if I should put them away, she said "we love animals!" So far, so good. We scheduled dinner so that we'd be done right at 7:30. By 7:44, no one had showed up. I texted to ask if they were still coming, no response. It's now almost 8:30pm and they still haven't responded. It's wild that of all services, a mobile notary would completely ghost you. These are time sensitive documents and I'm just really disappointed in this company. Will not be using again. Amended. Rachel reached out to remedy the situation and went above and beyond to fix it. Had to amend this a second time. We rescheduled to the next day and we got ghosted again. I just can't rightly give this place a positive review, and would hate for others to get caught up in the mix of her scheduling woes. Need to warn people off of this company. I'm sorry Rachel... you kinda earned this one and I did give you a second chance.

I got my items returned quickly (one had a shipping label already and the other one I had to scan the barcode for them to package). Everything went very smoothly. I also got a receipt which was nice. Was in and out in record time. Metered parking available nearby. However, I had a hard time finding a space on the weekday afternoon that I visited.

I explained that I had spoken with UPS and Amazon supervisors who confirmed it did not require one. I had even brought a box as a precaution. When I asked whether the policy had changed and where that requirement was posted, he said, "I don't care, you need a box." I asked to speak with someone above him, and he replied that "the only thing above him is the hotel." The interaction then escalated far beyond a disagreement about packaging. He identified himself as the owner and told me, "I don't need your money, go fuck yourself," followed by "go talk to Trump if you have a problem." He also yelled, "Go vote for fucking Trump again." Another employee intervened and guided him toward the back of the store, apparently trying to calm the situation. I came in to complete a return. There was absolutely no reason for profanity, personal attacks, or political comments. An owner should be able to explain a packaging requirement respectfully. Based on this experience, I would not return to this location.

The person who helped me back then was rude and unhelpful, and I left thinking I'd never return. Fast-forward to now: I was in the middle of a move and needed boxes urgently, so I decided to give The Box Depot another try. I'm so glad I did! I was helped by Moises, who completely changed my impression of the store. He was friendly, funny, patient, and went above and beyond -- answering all my questions, helping me find exactly what I needed, and even offering to carry everything to the car.
