Wegman's Assorted. Mmmmmmmm! So good!
Sarah G.

We visited this Wegman's EVERY. SINGLE. DAY of our NY visit. We miss Wegman's since living in NC and now that we are in TX. We mainly came here for WEGMAN'S SUBS. What is it about these subs which make them so dang good?!?! Yes, we ate a sub each of the 3 days we were here. A "negative" was that the time it took to make the subs was quite lengthy each time. The workers can't multi-task and make more than one at a time so wait times ranged from 25-40 minutes each time we came. Got the kiddos some items from the hot foods bar- chicken tenders for our girls and lo mein for our boy. It's so nice to have so many options to suit everyone's taste. The other "negative" would be that we didn't feel the employees were he typical Wegman's-Friendly. Usually the staff is so helpful and pleasant. The Cafe cashiers all 3 visits were less than cordial. Seemed a bit miserable. Ah well. Still love Wegman's!

Who doesn't love Wegmans, right? I pretty much know the layout of each Wegmans and a 30 mile radius. My favorite Thing by Wegmans is that if you're in the store and you can't find an item, you can use mine and store directory and it will tell you what isle it is in. I use it all the time. Their prices are getting a little out of hand lately.. the wegmans brand items. It's rare that I go to another grocery store but when I do their prices are so much cheaper , and not just for their name brand but for the big brands. I refuse to go to whole foods stores... if you want to really see ridiculous prices go to those. I wish wegmans still had their video rental section, the red box SUCKS. They have a large variety of food that's ready to eat or ready to cook . I do enjoy their wegmans food magazine, giving ideas of what to cook.

I'm New to this location and I thought it was smaller that the ridge rd store but I sure didn't notice It had all the great Wegmans sections There is salad, pizza, subs, Mediterranean, etc. the sushi section is big and well stocked They have soups and a hot bar. Cool!! there is the cafe with its own check out! Nice! A lots of prepared food right there There are 71 types of organic produce here. (So says the poster) The cheese section is huge and so is the beer section! The bakery is always making something and there cakes looked good When I got lost I asked for help and a staffer took me right to the hidden item I don't live here anymore so I love going into these stores. You locals are so lucky to have this chain ( you have to put up with the snow)

Store Front-- plenty of parking, always.

Oh Wegmans, how I yearn for this place to open in the Boston area...ASAP. Everyone who is from upstate NY knows that Wegmans is a superior establishment that can be best described as the best of Trader Joes, Star Market, and Whole Foods combines times a trillion. Speaking of superior, you MUST experience their deli submarines (subs). They bake their bread fresh every day and they do not skimp on deli meats and all the fixins. I've lived in Boston for over 2 years now, and even being a foodies that seeks out deli subs/sandwiches, I have yet to find anything that can even compare to the greatness that is Wegmans Subs.

I've been here before but never got around to writing a review, glad we stopped in recently!…read more I used to think, since it's a Co-Op, it was only for members. But that's changed (or maybe I just misunderstood!), and now anyone can shop here. Prices are a bit higher about $2-$5 more than other grocery stores depending on what you're getting, also know you're supporting a community focused, local business. It's not a huge place, but they've got a solid selection of essentials, and some nice specialty items too. There's even an outdoor area if you want to relax with a snack or a drink. Staff is pleasant, friendly and helpful. They have private parking lot! I'll definitely be back.

It's a bit of a drive for me, but worth it. The staff were so pleasant, kind, and patient. I have a disability, and Richard took his time to explain everything to me. You can just go in and shop, or you can join the co-op. I joined, there are a lot of benefits, including discounts, events, they want to hear from you, and suggestions. It's in the South Wedge. A great neighborhood, and it's decorated outside and has some amazing murals so you can't miss it. I wish I had thought to take pictures. Will do it next time. Bring your own bags. Parking was easy. The aisles are nice and wide. They have small baskets that roll, making it really easy for someone with disabilities to shop. Their meat section is all frozen, which is fine. I bought frozen wild salmon. They have a big sausage section, with some delicious sounding ingredients. I will have to get some next time.

I like this Tops because I'm a big dairy lover and their discount manager's special section lets me…read moretry ALL the dairy- on far right back of store. I think their produce isn't as great as Wegmans and slightly overpriced. The rest of the dried food section/pantry like things are good. bakery Goods are a little over sugary and cheap tasting. Meat section is ok but also not the best cuts of meat. There's a cute large geriatric population however, which makes this store quite charming to visit for the most part. Produce: Sometimes you get an ok deal but most of their cut fruit, and produce is a little over priced. May as well go to Wegmans to get better fresh things. Consider Walmart and price rite for better variety/price. Dried goods/pantry- carries larger variety of brands compared to Wegmans which has a monopoly. I think this allows buyers to try outside competition more however. There's good and bad. Bakery- unfortunately kinda cheap tasting. lots of conditioners and preservatives for same price as a Wegmans' loaf of bread. the bread just feels like it could be buried underground and survive 5 years later. Baked goods better at Wegmans. Discount dairy. this place wins. For sure. Milk is ok priced- Wegmans has cheapest milk in Rochester. You can find Creme fraiche for example which is hard to find in other places. Candy section- super cheap. lots of junk food here that are cheap. Prepared hot foods- ok as well. Parking lot has ample space but kind run down. Staff are overall ok. Not your cheeriest folks however.

It was quite clean and well lit. Prices were a bit eye-widening. It is difficult to get a feel for this store as I was not able to get a sense of the layout. After exploring the entire store, I left with two donuts and a drink. Truly, the skimpiest buy I've ever made for a first time buying experience.

I had visited this market a few times in the past when in the neighborhood but is not my usual go to market because of how far it is from me. This market has a real neighborhood feel. You know the one with fresh baked goods and a deli counter, making you fresh salads and sandwiches. This is one of the few markets that still employs butchers. The store is clean and the employees all are very friendly and welcoming. They have embraced all the covid-19 safety precautions. Everyone wearing a mask, gloves, and social distancing. Signs are prevelent explaining the protocols. Their prices are very compatible and they run weekly specials that can result in great savings. Their produce, seafood, and meat are fresh and of high quality. Now back to my roast. The butcher came out and took the time to discuss with me what I was looking for. He then went into the back and freshly cut me a roast just as I had asked for. The roast was perfect on Christmas. Very flavorable, with nice marbling. Everyone raved about it. This market might be a bit out of the way but it is worth the drive. You can tell, the owners, and employees take great pride in their business.
