Wegmans MEALS2GO at 770 Broadway, in Manhattan, NYC is the place to pick-up breakfast, lunch or dinner when you have no time to cook. The food items are tasty and fresh and the service you receive is always top notch. The staff is always helpful when you are unable to locate a particular food item you have purchased before. The layout of store makes it easy to browse and take-in the aromas from the fresh baked items, flowers and cheese section. I highly recommend you give it a try.

This is an incredible grocery store if you're looking for high quality produce, packaged snacks, and prepared foods. They make sushi, Asian bowls, cakes, breads, and cookies. You can easily get lost here wandering the aisles.

A beautiful, clean and organized grocery store offering a variety of items - prepared foods, meats, breads, pantry staples and frozen foods. I also appreciate the gluten-free items that they carry - items that can be hard to find elsewhere. The service is fast and friendly. I've visited a few times and I really do appreciate having a Wegmans in the city.

This is solely a review for the sushi and sashimi. Decided to meet up with friends for a night in & was tasked to bring rolls. There is a big variety at Wegman's, so bought a little bitof everything. Salmon, tuna, yellowtail, veggie rolls, and shrimp tempura. There was some spicy and non spicy. The food was a hit, we didnt have much left over. I preferred it to other store bought sushi. It doesn't taste like it has been left in a case all day. It is already pre-made, so no one has to serve you. If you need anything, there are staff behind the counter. Store is two levels and very clean. Check out is quick. Will need to come back to shop for groceries!

I couldn't believe a Wegmans had opened up in Astor Place! Taking over where it was once Kmart, as other Wegmans, they offer various cheeses, desserts, meat and produce, seafood, prepared items, a deli, a health & wellness section, etc. We loved the fresh flowers that they had available! One thing to note is that their restrooms were extremely dirty and not well taken care of - not even worth in standing in line to use them! The place was extremely jam-packed, and there were some specials that were happening. Easily accessible. +avoid the restrooms +fresh flowers

I've started a new journey to find the best grocery store rotisserie chicken in the United States of America. This is running parallel with my current journey to find the best rotisserie chicken in the world. Two separate journeys, as I can't imagine a grocery story will even sniff the top 10 overall. Anyways, first up is Wegmans. $9.99 for a whole Rosemary Rotisserie chicken. I went with the non-organic, as I feel like I need to keep this consistent across all grocery stores. I took my whole chicken to the park, sat on a bench, and recorded myself ripping into this tissy like a dork. I also bought a bottle of water, as I was expecting this to be dry as hell. Honestly, this chicken blew me away. Wegmans came to COMPETE. The skin was pretty crispy and the meat surprisingly tender and juicy. When I ripped into the leg, it lowkey fell off the bone. I was in shock. I didn't even need the water. Final score was 8.5 out of 10. Overall, Casa Adela is my #1 Rotisserie Chicken in America at a 9.7. I can't imagine a grocery store beating this, although Costco's tissy seems to have plenty of fans. Whole Foods is next. I'll keep y'all updated. IG @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov__

    Sweet treats sold in bakery

A harried and unwelcoming experience. Customers and the store staff run through the place as if they are being chased. It's hard to find what you need and harder to search with people running into you. I purchased a premade salad, and it was expensive, but no better than any other supermarket premade salad sold anywhere else. On another occasion, I walked through to look at their offerings, but left without making a purchase, the prices are a turn off. The shift manager supervising the self-checkout ( visitors are corralled though the checkout section to exit regardless if you have made a purchase) asked me if I needed help as she looked me up and down. The question was not intended to be helpful; she was implying I was shoplifting. Rude. And unwelcoming. And expensive. And no thank you!

    Seafood from Wegmans

Update: When Wegmans first opened I was super excited. They had an array of food items from hot food stands and tons of seafood options. I don't know what happened but there has been a significant budget cut on the quantity & quality of food options. They have done away with all of the seafood except for the fish downstairs. I use to get grilled shrimp & amazing sandwiches from here which are now non-existent. if I'm in the area I will grab some sushi and they have freshly made oatmeal cream pie cookies with buttercream filling that I like which are expensive but that's all I have been reduced to getting. The budget cuts are evident leaving the store limited & so uninteresting.

Probably the best place to buy regular groceries in this area of town. If you go on certain days/ hours (which I will not reveal) the store is nearly free of people and the shopping experience is so peaceful. Appreciate the selection of meats, although they could use a butcher counter. The variety of brand names boxed goods and coffee is unmatched. I'm a big fan of their buffalo chicken sub. The biggest issues this store has is the escalators often go down and during some times, the Instacart guys abound. The prepared food on the first level, although good quality is often crazy overpriced.

I've never been to a Wegman's store before, but as I walking by, I figured let me give it a try. I actually wanted to see if they had fresh soup and I wanted a beverage. However, always by the front door, I noticed they had a cookie stand-- for $15.99 a pound. I almost thought something was wrong with my eyes. By that point, I decided I would just get a drink and head out. The store is arranged in a very neat and colorful manner. I saw nothing out of place either. I looked up and saw a shelf of freshly cut fruit, but if cookies are $16 a pound, I figured fruit would be $20 a pound. I made my way to the checkout, which is predominantly self-service. I'm not the biggest fan of that, especially when they had about 6 workers over there just doing nothing.

It's A bit of a strange experience walking into a large grocery store in the middle of Manhattan. came here after work on a Thursday and was surprised that it wasn't overrun by people shopping after work. Unlike some other grocery stores in the city. Very extensive selection of basically everything and there's even small stations for samples if you come at the right time . They even have raw fish for a diy sashimi night..very impressive

Large Asian section of grab and go noodles, fried rice, dumplings and cooked proteins
    Rhondi S.

A very big Wegman's store! Grab and go foods upstairs from Asian, sushi, pizza, salads, proteins and other dishes from a hot Asian bar (egg rolls, dumplings, noodles fried rice, etc), prepackaged salads, a soup bar, a sandwich bar, etc for quick meals. On-site Bakery and fresh breads, pastries and dessert bar. Downstairs full of fresh produce, frozen meals and foods, a meat counter, packaged smoked or refrigerated fish, frozen fish from Japan. Cheese counter, prepackaged meats, great grocery store. Prices for the finished meals, grab and go items are a bit steep, but produce and other staples are ok prices - hey it's NY!

There are more cashiers than I've seen in any other Trader Joe's. Accounting for what they knew would be a high-trafficked store, the aisles are wide. Plenty of merchandise. Clean, well-stocked. Same prices I paid when I shopped at Trader Joe's in Roswell GA though -- and it may be my imagination -- the bag of frozen Gyoza Potstickers (something I always buy) seems to have shrunk. The First Avenue bus is right outside. Convenient! I would avoid rush hour and weekends when the store could get super busy. I don't want to struggle with purchases on a crowded bus. But I'll surely be back, mid-week, mid-day.

Unfortunately, the experience was heavily overshadowed by an uncomfortable situation with a security guard who followed us around the store. It was very off-putting and honestly diminished the entire visit. If I hadn't been in a rush, I would have left my items right where I stood and walked out. Security should be focused on individuals who are actually stealing, not hovering over someone carrying a tiny bag where nothing could even be hidden. Because of that experience, it's unlikely I'll return to this location. I may consider trying a different Trader Joe's someday, but this visit left a very sour impression.
