Seeing how Roscoe + his sister Dixie Lee are both my furbabies I might be a bit biased but I'm…read moreSquirrel & I tend to lean towards the truth like: those health issues still showing up on our listing via Yelp are from when we first opened... well they have all been taken care of to the satisfaction of the Florida health department so they shouldn't still be showing up (at least without the 07/2023 date being made more prominent than hidden in the double click text bubble you need to find, just sayin?!). Also the food selection we have is constantly changing because we got into the food industry because we enjoy food, not just making the same old stuff... we like "playing with our food" so much that we're always coming up with new ways to serve something new while still making sure it's the same top quality we ourselves would prefer to have as an option when we visit any other establishment. We have decided to enjoy everything in life & because we want everyone else to as well we'll share the newest creation we've come up with which is why our menu is always changing so please don't hesitate to try what we have to offer or at least ask one of our people for their opinion, they won't want to disappoint you either UPDATE: as of Sept 26, 2024 due to the destruction of the hurricanes we've moved to higher ground! We're grateful for all the friends we've made & hope you'll come visit us at our newest location which we refer to as being a "No Wake Zone" right across the way on Rt 19. Hope all is well with you/yours & we'll see you soon @ Roscoes On 19! As always... thank you!

Thick Texas toast crunchy on the outside but soft and fluffy on the inside. My boyfriend had an omelette, which was great!!! Going to make this our breakfast place!

They have probably 7 draft beers which is always my goto. Decor is mild and they serve food. I at the recommendation of another Yelper tried the smoked beef brisket sandwich. They meat literally melts in your mouth and is exceptionally delicious and comes with fries. I thought the price was a little steep at $10 based on the size but never the less it was delicious. I enjoyed a good conversation and exceptional service with the Owner Kevin. He has definitely earned my business and I look forward to trying out the Ruben bratwurst next....more reviews to follow...I'll be back again for sure.

Kevin personally prepares every dish - I love the low smoked brisket and pulled pork they just melt in your mouth. The Black & Blue burger has real blue cheese crumbles.... where can you get that with a cold draft beer in Brooksville? From time to time, Kevin even runs specials with locally grown natural pork and beef from small Hernando county farms. He's a real community kind of guy like that. You never know if you're going to be part of a benefit to raise money for kayaks for a Church, or a live concert with professional musicians, or maybe a bike run. But, there's always something going on at the Way Station! It's one of the last outposts of the traditional neighborhood spot.

Very, very casual atmosphere. Love walking into a restaurant/bar where everyone turns to look at you and then start whispering. I was ready to jet, but others wanted to check out the outside. Not saying we're all that bougie but to say it has a patio is giving it too much credit. There are table, chairs and benches to sit on. It was toga night but only two of the staff dressed for the occasion and there was a DJ that came on while we waited for our dinner. Giovanni (who did not have on a toga) waited on our party of four and he was the highlight of our experience. He came out with a cocktail, yes cocktail that he claimed to devise that was delicious. Though a member of our party complained that the wine was ready to turn to vinegar, at least on his first glass. We order the chicken wings Garlic & Habanero) which were really good. I had the shrimp scampi which came with garlic bread and salad and all of this was very tasty. Husband had gyro and fries, which were so filling he had to get a to go box. Dinner guests both had the Catch of the Day which turned out to be sole, one grilled, one blackened and salads. He loved the grilled sole, don't think she was too keen on hers. All in all thank goodness the food was so good. I would say this place is designed more for locals because they sure weren't too friendly, except for Giovanni, to tourists and out of town guests.
