After searching online for options nearby, I came across Park Floral and decided to give them a call to clarify a few details before placing my order. When I spoke with the manager, Michael, he told me there would be a $25 delivery fee to the funeral home. I then asked how much delivery would be to my home, which is only three blocks away, and he quoted me $15. This immediately raised a red flag, since the website clearly advertised free delivery. When I questioned this, he paused and then said, "It doesn't entail anything, I can just deliver it for you for free." Based on that, I told him I would go ahead and place the order the next day for the Friday service. The next day, I checked the website again and noticed all the prices had suddenly increased by $15. While that alone was frustrating, I still called to finalize the order. At that point, I was told to call back in an hour because he was busy. I proceeded to call back five times and even left a message. I never received a response. For something as important and time-sensitive as a funeral, this level of inconsistency, lack of transparency, and poor communication is extremely disappointing. I ultimately took my business elsewhere, and I would not recommend this shop based on my experience.

My recent delivery was this past Monday and by Tuesday evening one was beginning to wilt and by Friday all but one wilted or have died. Who wants to see a vase of dead flowers roses among live carnations. It's a little bizarre. As I said this is not the first time but it is my last time supporting this local business. I believe in supporting local entrepreneurs because a thriving community is good for all. I hope this review will encourage this business owner to find a better distributor of roses because as of right now it's not good. If roses begin to wilt almost immediately the quality is questionable. Poor product means poor customer care and service. Also, it's a waste of money.
