I tried to register online and ran into issues; when I went back in, it felt like more of a hassle for Mr. Beanie-Glasses-¿Chin-Strap-Beard? (hard to really remember). This kind of dismissive behavior isn't uncommon in comic book shops. Having been a regular reader for years, I can confidently say there's a certain hipster element embedded in comic culture that lacks the self-awareness that the "better-than-you" attitude is a dime a dozen. I place my weekly pulls with Casablanca Comics, where the staff are not only enjoyable to talk with, but actually remember your name and want to help. This shouldn't discount the efforts of the other, surely more personable employees--nor at least a visit or two to check out their selection--but it definitely detracts from any kind of regular patronage.

All the items had a decent price, the sets were little high price, since they were combination of a bunch. We bought a kids story book for our daughter, it was about Loki. Seriously though, the place is super welcoming and patient with nerds of all types. Whether you're dipping your toes into nerd culture or want to dive in face first, they've had an answer and anecdote for nearly every geeky genre that has ever pique a nerd's interest. Highly recommend the D&D games though. They're super fun and very patient with beginner players and even welcome new walk-ins during the middle of campaigns.

I saw many that I had never seen before which was cool. It was a lot of fun to browse. The selection of graphic novels was really nice, especially the holiday themed display. I was tempted by several of their titles that I hadn't seen around. I somehow didn't purchase anything (being good!) but I did see many items I kinda needed but didn't really need. You get this pathetic excuse of a store. The BBB not finding in my favor is not a thing. That is not what they do. They contact the company and there is no actual finding but a mediator before court. I made it very clear I want my money back which I have still not received back. Now I'm going to go after thousands in court for misuse of my personal data. I'm still going to court to get my money back and falsely using my information to file a fake police report with my private information which is not what that was intended by my personal information. As I've stated this is the worst comic book store in the world and they should and will be shut down. Filing a false police report because someone says they're going to go to Court doesn't constitute a threat. They purposefully lied to me about the value of my trade it. Then misused my information to discredit me.

Thirteen years later, I am still not an expert, but my fandoms and tastes have been able to carve a path, and they are still amazing to talk to. The store in Windam is a bit bigger, and I hope it gets the customers out there it deserves. Plenty of offerings, well organized, and just friendly. The staff just simply cares about comics, graphic novels and the fringe things that come with it. This is refreshing, as I'm not your typical comic collector and have had run-ins with holier-than-throw, neck-beards, from other shops in the past.
