Not only did they rent me an incredibly expensive bike for the same price that some of those shops on the beach rent the beat up cruisers for, but they also gave me a bike so advanced that I had no idea how to ride it. That said, the person who assisted me was Larry and he walked me through every aspect and function of the bike, helped me with adjustments, and made sure I was comfortable with this fine piece of human engineering! If anyone wants to rent real performance bikes, this is truly the place to go, especially if you don't know what you want, they have all different kinds and let you try them out to make sure you're happy with your rental! The employee then said I'm not here to teach you anything about bikes. If you wanna buy something buy something, I could never imagine worst customer service in my life. The actual tech that worked on bikes was really nice. However, the sales guy associate was beyond disrespectful. When he said you wanna buy something, then buy something I put my money back to my pocket and walked out. I would suggest not even wasting my time going into such an awful place. PS I just saw added my review and I'm literally so disappointed with the service that I would sit here for the next five days and publish one negative review after the next the same way they treated me inside the store. Every question shut down, every inquiry, just follow a condescending remark like are you buying or not? It's Sunday so I'm literally driving 40 minutes to another bike shop just to buy the smallest part. I'd rather burn my money then give it to them.

The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable (thanks Kyle and Carly!) and the owner Terry awesome. Years back I was not loving how my Ridge Rider felt. Rather than let me by a new model he convinced me to let him retrofit the Ridge Rider. Through a fancy suspension seat post and seat on it, a taller neck and more comfy handlebars. It's been my favorite for long distance rides ever since. They always keep a huge inventory in stock to choose from, and they're just all around A+ retailers, a pleasure to do business with, and have a killer brand behind them. I'm obv a big fan!

They took the time to answer my questions and made sure everything on my bike was dialed in properly. You can tell they really care about their work and the customers. Unfortunately, the overall experience was a bit overshadowed by the owner. He tends to hover around the shop, constantly asking questions that feel unnecessary and, at times, a bit intrusive. It comes off more as a distraction than helpful oversight, and you can sense it affects both customers and the workers. It created a slightly uncomfortable vibe while I was there. If you're going for quality service, the mechanics will absolutely take care of you. I just wish the overal leadership from the owner Mo Karimi matched the level of professionalism as the mechanics.

Perhaps I was tired and feel like I'm…read moretired all the time now but we arrived to San Diego before 9AM and was fortunate to check in early with 2 upgrades. I was envisioning myself in bed to read, nap, and scroll on my phone but Gavin had other ideas. He enjoyed the breaks in the room but wanted to do things. I don't blame him. He noticed this place as we were walking to get lunch earlier. We ended renting a surrey. It's meant for 2, both would need to pedal but the left side had the real steering wheel. Even when it was Gavin's turn to "drive," I still spun the dummy wheel though I knew it served no purpose. It was instincts. The path we took was along the waterfront which is the only path allowed. It was difficult to maneuver because there were a lot of people and a lot of people that are inconsiderate, too. Like a family of 6 walking side by side? Who are your parents that never taught you basic manners?! Service was nice. They hold your ID until the rental is returned. Gavin had fun. A helmet is mandatory for kids under 18 (free). All you pay is the rental for the bike itself. I'm not sure when will be our next cruise but we will definitely try this again but early in the morning so we can bike freely w/o people.

I'd pay it again and love riding down here by the coast! There is always going to be loads of people down here and if you're not a confident rider, I wouldn't come here to ride a bike. There is so much going on, from kids riding, skating, blowing bubbles, adults riding, skating, and blowing bubbles. It's such a magical spot, it's always brought a huge smile to my face walking or riding down here! I use to come when you could ride scooters lol and one time a friend of mine collided with a bicyclist and she broke some bones. Needless to say, just be careful and if you're not advanced, a helmet would definitely be recommended.
