Worst experience as a consignor and as a buyer.
--- as a consignor
I wanted to sell some of my children's clothes that I thought were worth it. I brought several bins of clothes there.
They never called me to let me know unwanted clothes are ready for pick up (according to them, it takes 3-4 weeks). When I called, I got the same answers each time. "It takes time to process, about 3 to 4 weeks" or "we probably have not gotten to your bin yet".
I even passed by the store at numerous occasions worried they would donate my clothes. Last time, they could not even find my bin - to my dismay, I saw there were unsorted bins full of clothes filling up the backroom waiting to be sorted - and claimed it was lost or, better, maybe one of the 5 employees took it home to sort through!!!
Summer clothes, that are yet to be sorted in... October?! As I had already left the store, they magically found the bin! This bin had not been looked through.
Moreover, all the other items that I had brought over the last year had supposedly been sold. I requested a detailed receipt of the sales and observed that just about 10-12 items had sold! I had brought bins of clothes including nice winter coats, which were not listed among the sold items. I was very disappointed that something I left in good faith was unaccounted for.
During this ordeal, the store manager was unpleasant and careless.
