This is a great little shop in Lee Heights that offers high quality (though not outrageously…read morepriced) Women's fashion and accessories as well as adorable high end baby and toddler clothing. They also offer a great selection of unique gifts and other special items that you can't find at the countless big box stores that have taken over almost everywhere else here now. It's like visiting...Etsy...in person. If such a store existed of course. Obviously only a very very small, and very highly curated BIT of Etsy, but still...it's etsy-esque. In a good way. Well worth a visit. Especially for those "extra hard to shop for" and "already have everything" types. They're also great for the many miscellaneous gift needs that pop up throughout the year for coworkers and teachers and other people you might not know very well and whose gift options fall uncomfortably in between even the classiest target dollar bin options your best friends might love, and the fancier more expensive fare reserved for one's own children, close relatives, spouses... The "I don't really know what, but ideally something special and memorable and cool" gifts for all sorts of things like secret Santas, teacher appreciation, miscellaneous baby/bridal showers, office party exchanges, attempts to gain favor or acceptance from cringey or critical or perfectly lovely mother in laws...etc. This place is perfect for all of those and more. I've found awesome Christmas presents for my mother here two years in a row now, and many fun things for myself as well. Best boutique baby clothes section I've seen in the Arlington area, actually. Oh! And Scout bags galore!

Where have all the children's consignment stores gone????…read more I have just become a grandma this year to a wonderful grandson. Unfortunately we don't live in the same state so we were looking for consignment stores with gently used baby gear. I found plenty in the southern states but none in MD like there used to be. I happen to find this store on a trip we took to the area. I was so excited to look for a stroller, car seat, packnplay, play yard, chair that attaches to the table etc. I will be doing alot more new things & going to many different places since I'll be with my grandson!! I've already begun making plans for some short trips and then a big family trip. First, upon entering it was packed and clustered. But then again so am I and I have learned not to judge a person or place on the outside or first look, so I ventured in and I immediately spotted the pack n play I wanted in navy blue and they had 2 jogger strollers I couldn't decide between. They had everything you need or want for your newborn up to about elementary school age? We were promptly greeted at the door and I explained it was my first time in there and what I was looking for and then they had to give us a quick lesson on the stroller since they've changed some since I last had one 23 years ago. Everything was clean and in either new or barely used. Prices are not necessarily negotiable unlike the old days when you could get it cheaper depending on the length of time it has been up for sale. They do have a frequent buyer card and filling it gives you a discount of $10 or $20 off your next purchase (I believe the $ is correct) I can honestly say the place is small but they have some great newer (or brand new) items and if you buy enough they just might give you a little discount:-). I could get lost in a place like this & buy everything for my grandson. I did decide on a jogger stroller for $70, a pack n play with bassinet and extra side pockets for diapering and changing. I bought a brand new one in green with baby animals on it and it was still in box partially! I found a cute little red tricycle that I had to buy for him even though he can't ride yet. I highly recommend this store! The quality of products is great and selection is pretty good not to mention how friendly the staff was & helpful. I don't do this often but 5 stars across the board!! I will be back.

It's a decent business with a very attentive and warm gal working in the store. Glad to see that…read morestores like this exist so that a lot of baby stuff can be reused and recycled. Good for the environment, good for the neighborhood.

I have been shopping at this Goodwill since the early 2000s when they were still in the adjacent…read morespace. The biggest reason for my rating is simple - the pricing. The pricing is much too high. They literally price Dollar Tree items at $1 or $2.... the same or even more than regular retail! Their handbags are ridiculously overpriced and their costume jewelry is at full retail. The clothing, in many cases, is very near retail. For example, a Walmart brand tshirt is priced at 3.99 or 4.99 when the Walmart retail price is 4.97. Also, it really bothered me when a man came in with a clothing voucher from the DHHR for clothing that was obviously a work requirement. He needed black shoes, black pants, and a black belt. At the register, his voucher was a couple of dollars short. They told him he had to put something back. The man looked so embarrassed and so bewildered. Another man in line at the register bought the belt for him. I thought The Goodwill was supposed to HELP people. This guy was obviously trying to better himself by getting a job and the DHHR must have thought the voucher would be enough. They likely didn't realize the high prices at this Goodwill. I don't understand why they couldn't discount the belt a couple of dollars. Everything that man was buying was second hand - donated to the Goodwill for FREE. It's been a while since I have shopped there, but I noticed last summer that the number of people shopping in the store seemed to really be down, and those that were shopping were buying very little. In this area, these high prices aren't going to fly. People have other, better, and more affordable options. Bushel and a Peck sells much better quality clothing for the same or even better price, and the Rescue Mission has far less expensive pricing. I saw many comments here about the employees. Other than one of the male managers, I have never had negative interactions with the employees. They have all been very kind to me and they always seem to be working very hard to get merchandise on the floor. I miss the shopping experiences I once had at this Goodwill. I miss being able to fill my cart to the point of overflowing with clothing, household items, party supplies, holiday decorations, handbags, and jewelry. A Facebook Group has started called GREEDwill. I understand the premise after seeing the prices in my local Goodwill.

There is a sort of interesting allure to finding a great bargain. You will have this kind of experience here. I didn't exactly come here with the idea of purchasing a $6 faux fur foot stool, but it would be really cool for displaying one of my plants. I also picked up a $3 wall art and a $4 woven rattan table runner. This was never opened and still had the original price tag. It will be perfect for covering the top of my bookshelf. This store is very organized and prices clearly labeled on every item. Seriously... go find something for yourself.
