We had the perfect 6 night stay at the Londonderry Inn. From the moment we met Samantha, settled…read moreinto our room and savored her incredible breakfasts daily, we couldn't have asked or wished for anything more. Spending a week exploring Hershey and the surrounding areas has been on the list of want to see for a very long time and recently we had the opportunity to do just that. We had so much fun visiting with Samantha, she is the perfect GM, hostess, breakfast chef and baker. Her bubbly and friendly personality made our stay extra special. We were in the Napoleon Room, which is very private with a private staircase leading up off the kitchen. The room was huge, immaculately clean and so very comfortable. The bathroom was large with plenty of room to get ready in the mornings. The large and tall windows brought so much light into the room and having a mini fridge is a nice touch to keep waters cold. The Inn is filled with antiques, is warm, cozy and extremely welcoming to her guests. The basement has a nice pool table and a beautiful room with a long dining table, perfect for a small wedding reception or reception dinner. The grounds are beautiful and it is the perfect spot to stay for a few days or longer to explore the Hershey area. We felt right at home. Our breakfasts included, eggs benedict, scrumptious frittata and quiche along with yogurt, fruit and muffins with juice. There are fresh baked cookies and muffins with coffee and tea in the breakfast room all day for your snacking pleasure. There is plenty of parking, even a charging station for your electric vehicle. The Inn is centrally located to Hershey and the surrounding areas. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners one afternoon and they are lovely people who truly care about making the Inn comfortable and beautiful for their guests. We had the opportunity to see the other suites when guests were not checked into the rooms, each one is gorgeous with antiques, you can't go wrong with any room in the Inn. We absolutely will stay again, and you should book a stay and go. Thank you Samantha for truly making our stay special.

There are fireplaces in almost every room, unfortunately the one in our room was currently under construction but maybe next time. Our particular bedroom was called the Michelangelo Tower. The ceilings being painted and all. Make sure you're a morning person though, because with eight (8!) windows it got very bright in there by 6AM. Probably was the only downside because my boyfriend and myself are not particularly morning people. There's a coffee maker and water bottles available in the sitting room, at all hours of the day, which was nice. The morning we had check out they had breakfast served in each of the large dining rooms. Quiche with bacon and potatoes. Orange juice, water, hot tea and fresh coffee. All was wonderful. We will be back.

In-house catering was absolutely delicious, we had them do the rehearsal dinner, lunch for bridal party when they were getting ready, then dinner that evening. All the hors d'oeuvres were amazing! Dinner was right on time and everything came out hot and delicious! The staff was on point taking care of all our needs. The owner, Gina, is a amazing host and helped us in everything we needed to get done. I would recommend Moonstone Manor for any event that you need a venue for!! I give it 5 stars!!!!!

Fresh bread w butter was provided. The place is unusual in that you must purchase a lodge membership in order to be able to order alcohol. The application for lodge membership to be potentially approved takes some time. None of my friends had this membership but one of them wanted to get it in the future: I do not need drinks to enjoy my time but I am still open to them. I try to be pickier about drinks because I feel inundated from them throughout life, The choices they have tend to be very mainstream Italian and I wasn't expecting too adventurous in this more remote area (compared to Philadelphia) and this isn't a place I would typically pick on my own, but they do the food well here. I wanted to try a dessert but nothing struck my fancy AND I was too full. I unregrettably ate about half My dish and took the rest home. Staff here is very friendly.

Drinks are relatively cheap but limited in selection and for members only. I can see why some people would get upset about the drink policy. What I don't get is all the praise given by other reviewers for the food! In my opinion there was nothing special about it, and I see no reason to go back.
