I will recommend this place based on their service since I didn't actually try on any dresses. I was very excited to make an appointment here since their website showed that they had many dresses available with a pop of color. Sadly, when I went in they didn't have anything with color available. Since that is specifically what I was looking for, I appreciated that they understood that I wasn't going to try anything on. I wasn't treated like I wasted their time at all. I was also recommended by them another boutique that had more of what I was looking for, and that's where I ended up finding my dress! Avoid this place at all costs. Save yourself the inevitable regret. I made a choice to shop small, local and it was a mistake. There were two dresses I was undecided between and the size available to try on in the store for one was not a fit to allow me To make a decision. In discussions with the saleswoman, I agreed to buy two dresses as she agreed they would buy one back if I chose the one I was not able to try on in my size. She even wrote that on the receipt, which gave me confidence they would uphold their agreement. Here I am two weeks before my wedding and they are not willing to buy it back and said it was my misunderstanding. It was not my misunderstanding. They intentionally misled me to sell two dresses. I had a wonderful appointment at Wedding Expressions by Geri. I was accompanied by 3 members of my family and they were all treated with respect by the lovely ladies here. They had one on one service for myself and they really listened to what I wanted. I would recommend this place to any bride that wanted a personalized experience. read more

I had a scheduled appointment here and it took a long time for someone to come help and get me in my room. They showed us my room and then told me to pick out dresses I wanted. They didn't help me find anything I was interested in and they didn't help me into the dress, luckily my mom was there to help me. The girl who was "helping" my group barely said 2 words to us. I was not happy with my experience, I ended up liking a dress there but because of the experience and staff I didn't want to buy it. read more

Went in the store on a whim. I've been wanting to see a blush dress in person so I thought this would be my chance. Took awhile for them to help us but eventually they bring out the only blush dress they have in the store. It was a 100% not my style and what I would call pink, not blush. The sales people weren't horrible but did attempt to sell us this dress, clearly just trying to unload it. Bothered me as I was upfront and said all I wanted to do was see a blush dress in person. I then asked how it would go if I wanted to see a blush dress in person, they offered no suggestions/solutions. Their only answer was to order/buy one. In general it wasn't a great visit and instead let me know one place I can mark off my list when I am ready to order the dress. read more

All of the ladies made me feel so welcome when I walked through the door. My consultant was extremely catering and non judgmental of my small budget. I can't remember her name. It might have been Melanie, or Melissa? She had long dark hair. She was so nice it almost felt like as if she was a good friend of mine. Our recent experience with Wedding Expressions by Geri was frustrating and stressful to say the least. The bridesmaid and mother-of-the-bride dresses were all ordered well in advance (at least 6 months prior to wedding date), all came in later than expected. Our BIGGEST concern was that three of the bridesmaid dresses that came in were the wrong dress; correct color, but wrong dress!!! This is something that staff members should always check when orders arrive. It was later discovered that a staff member entered one digit incorrectly on the dress order and by the time the dresses arrived, it was too late to exchange them. My daughter (the bride) and the bridesmaids that received these dress were all quite upset about this. At first when I contacted Geri to see what could be done about this situation, we were only offered 50% off the dresses. I'm sorry, it was an error made by Bridal Expressions and it caused much undue stress on the my daughter as well as the bridesmaids; therefore, I went to visit Geri along with one of the bridesmaids with the incorrect dress to discuss the situation further. After much discussion, Geri finally decided that she would cover the cost of the gowns and cover all alteration costs. My thoughts are that it shouldn't have even been a second thought for Geri to totally cover these dresses; she should have covered everything from the get-go. My advice would be that if you find a dress you love at Bridal Expressions, order your dress in plenty of time (more than 6 months out from event) and as soon as it comes in go into the store and check to be sure you've received exactly what you've ordered. read more

I went to meet with a good friend of mine to share a special day with her for a dress fitting. I just happened to get there early and what I experienced before she arrived and during our visit was not pleasant. I was not greeted when I walked in..Although it was obvious to the employees I was sitting by myself at a table since no one asked to help me. I even got up at one point to peek around to see if my friend was there yet. I also sat and watched others being helped in front of me..even one person of which was seated and given paperwork to fill out. When my friend..The bride to be arrived..she was not greeted either and waited just as I did..Also not given paperwork. The ...I suppose manager if the store finally woke up and realized were there...finally gave her paperwork to fill out and then had the nerve to question her about the fact that she was interested in a Grey wedding dress..As if no one ever got married in a dress other than white before. Keep in mind this friend had a scheduled appt. And found this dress in her book on the table. I swear this scene could have been taken from Pretty Women when the snotty lady at the fancy store wouldn't help Julia Roberts. This would describe the manager with the dark hair..whatever her name was. I didn't catch her name unfortunately. When we were finally helped...not only were they not helpful..they didn't bother to even lift a finger to help us..no help with the fitting itself..and then she had the nerve to go help other customers and even sat down with them at a table for a whole rendition of whatever they had going on with them..completely ignoring us..who she had an appt. With and only spent 5 minutes with us. All the group had to help get the dresses because the employees in the store were useless. In addition...Oh Yes There Is more..When I Asked If She Had A DIFFERENT Size In A Dress She Was INTERESTED in..She Got SNAPPy..And SAID she has only has one dress of each kind and one size..And it would take like 5 to 6 months to order the size. Oh..And it was a big inconvenience for her to be bothered helping others when it was us she had the appt with. Let me say she probably would have sold this dress to my friend because she absolutely loved this dress..but due to the lack of assistance..The rudeness..and non observant employees..we ended up leaving..Went to David's Bridal in Lenexa KS..I would strongly recommend them ....they were very helpful and SHE SAID YES TO THE DRESS AND BOUGHT IT. I would steer clear of this Geri's Expressions. HORRIBLE SERVICE...If I was the bride to be just would have been even madder than I already am. Thank goodness for a Davids Bridal saving the day.
