My fiancé and I had such a great experience! We were two weeks away from our wedding when we realized we needed to step up our game for our first dance (we had a pretty unique song, "Wherever Is Your Heart" by Brandi Carlile), and Sebastian totally saved the day! Right off the bat he taught us a few basic steps, and even in the introductory lesson we started to get into some [basic] choreography. 4 lessons later we have an awesome routine that is simple but impressive looking, and super fun! Sebastian really ran with it and helped us incorporate some more playful moves to spice things up. Cannot wait to impress our families at our wedding this weekend, and we will definitely be back to learn more fun dance moves!! read more

Booked a group package of 10 sessions on the mind body app. Signed up for a class, came and nobody showed up? There was another student there too. Would be nice if you let people know if you can't make it ... I will be requesting a refund. read more

Olivia was instrumental in preparing us for the first dance at our wedding in September. We came to her kind of last minute - our first lesson wasn't until late July, 8 weeks before the wedding - but she took us from 0 to 60 really quickly. When we first started, she was going to just make sure we knew all the basic steps and turns of two dances (the rumba aka box step and the hustle) so we could put them together naturally ourselves. She thought the flexibility would make my husband feel more comfortable. But when he said he'd feel more comfortable with actual choreography, she adjusted and helped us put something together. The best part about the whole experience was that it was a joint effort - Olivia never just told us what to do but worked with us so we could be sure we felt comfortable. That made it so that the dance went well on the day of our wedding, and we felt (mostly) anxiety-free! read more

Sebastian helped my (now) hubby and I learn to dance for our wedding in record time (11 lessons - we started them one month prior to our wedding day!) I cannot recommend him enough! Here is why: 1 - He himself is an excellent dancer! He has the technical knowledge to teach you so many different dances (rumba, fox trot, merengue, etc.) and incorporate details (hand and head movement/placement, facial expression, strong frame) that will make you look like a pro! He also gave us some great tips like sliding our feet to ensure neither of us stepped on my dress, and had me wear a large structured skirt to ensure I was comfortable dancing in a wedding dress. 2 - He is a fantastic teacher. Right from the start Sebastian was excellent at reading us as a couple. He struck the right balance between hands on instruction, giving us constructive criticism, allowing us to discuss different aspects of our dance & make decisions without his input, and quietly encouraging us to grow on our own (then giving us high fives when we did!) He stepped in to demonstrate steps (as both man and woman) and if we were stuck on something always knew how to get us to "get it". Because of him we progressed quickly and grew more confident. He even video taped us twice to ensure we liked how we looked! 3 - He made this entire process FUN! Even though we were under pressure, he was funny, encouraging, sweet, supportive - and I was looking forward to our lessons because they were like mini-dates for my (then) fiance and me. 4 - He is flexible and truly cares about his clients & wants them to be happy and to nail their dance. We wanted to learn different steps but not have a super choreographed dance - we wanted it a little looser to take the pressure off of having to remember choreography. He worked with us (and our crazy schedules) to create exactly what we wanted and it worked out perfectly on our wedding day. He even sent us a thank you card and followed up with us to see how it turned out. Our dance turned out wonderfully - we felt comfortable, had fun, and have the pictures to prove it! Some of my bridesmaids said this was their favorite moment of the night. And just like Sebastian said, the unexpected dips and turns delighted the crowd (attached are pics - look at their faces!) Thank you, Sebastian, for the good times and the great dance! :) read more

Showed up for the open house at the new location a few weeks ago after a friend recommended, and had such a great time that I decided to visit again with my fiancé, had a great first lesson with the owner; place had parking around the corner, and was easy to get to. signed up for our wedding lessons ; they will choreograph and everything .. didn't know that was even something people do. On our second lesson and LOVING the personalized service!! read more

Thank you SO much Sebastian! We got so many compliments on our first dance as husband and wife. I felt like a princess and it was a dream! Love you too Ariana! Totally recommend getting lessons here before the big day but do it 6-8 weeks out so you aren't stressed. We pulled it off in 2.5 weeks but would have been smoother if we had thought of it sooner. Totally worth the $$. Bonus Tip - this is a great date night activity. It gave us time to laugh and have fun and forget about work and wedding planning. read more

My now husband and I started taking private dance lessons with Olivia a few months before our wedding. She had a tall task ahead of her being that neither of us were dancers and we wanted to dance the tango for our first dance. We could not have found a better dance instructor and choreographer. She created the perfect dance for us and after weekly lessons we learned the basics of the Argentinian as well as American tangos and were able to make the dance our own. Olivia was always patient and understanding, as well as hilarious throughout our lessons. It was very easy to schedule lessons as we were able to text our instructor and if anything came up rescheduling was never an issue. We can happily say that this is an activity we plan to continue and will be back for lessons with our friend Olivia! read more

My wife and I took dance lessons for our wedding. We trained with Urosh and Ekaterina. They were both amazing with their experience, patience, and flexibility. We marveled our guests with our dance moves and are considering coming back to learn salsa. Bienvenue Dance Center is a gem in the heart of Hoboken, which we highly recommend. read more

My fiancee and I took private dance lessons with Uros - 10 lessons at first and then 2 additional that we added after our 7th to "perfect" our first dance for our upcoming wedding in October. Uros was great to work and hopefully we didn't drive him crazy (we still have 3 lessons to go)! As of a few weeks ago the studio was moved down the hall with more room (more than double the size). Going in to our 10th lesson we are definitely better than week 1. If you think you just want to go for one lesson and then be ready for whatever event it is that you are preparing for then that probably won't work. You have to be prepared to have more than just a few lessons and also practice lots. Class tonight, better practice when I get home or else! read more

My fiancé and I recently took dance classes with Uros at the Bienvenue Dance Center in Hoboken. It was so wonderful to work with Uros to perfect our dance skills and build a routine that would suite our favorite song confidently while having fun during the learning and perfecting process. The entire staff is friendly, talented, encouraging and extremely helpful. Uros was patient, attentive and very creative with new moves while choreographing our dance routine. He is also a fun loving person that made any hard day better with dance! We hope to continue dancing and taking lessons at Bienvenue. read more

My fiance and I took dance lessons with Diego for our first dance at our wedding. Neither us us had any dance experience and after only a few lessons we had a complete routine to our song. Diego was an amazing teacher. He was very patient with us since we were were total beginners, and taught us a great dance! I highly recommend this studio! read more

My fiance (now husband) and I took private dance lessons for our wedding with Anastasia, and we had a fantastic experience! Anastasia was extremely patient and helpful, and worked with us to create a personalized dance routine for our first dance. Our song choice was a bit unconventional but she was absolutely up to the challenge! She was also so friendly and nice and made the whole experience easy and fun for us. The other great thing was that Anastasia was able to accommodate our busy work schedule and set up dance lesson times each week that worked for us. We had less than two months to take lessons but she was always able to make time for us, and helped us learn a dance routine that looked really impressive but was comfortable for our level of dance skills. If you're looking for a great teacher for wedding dance lessons or ballroom dance lessons in general I would highly recommend working with Anastasia! read more

We were looking for something fun to do and boy did we find it. Urosh is a fantastic dance instructor; he teaches us something new everyday. Having two left feet had me skeptical at first but Urosh caters to dancers at all levels, and makes it fun for everyone. We take private lessons but have also been to the group classes which are also a blast. I highly recommend checking this place out - ask for Urosh! read more

One word, Olivia, she is amazing. My fiance and I decided to learn how to dance for our upcoming wedding and we couldn't be any happier that we worked with Olivia. Neither of us had any experience dancing beyond some meager twerking on the dance floor. Olivia guided us through some basic steps and helped put us at ease about learning how to dance. She is extremely patient, lighthearted and VERY knowledgeable. She is accommodating are our busy schedules and works with you to make everything feel smooth and natural. We have had other bad experiences with dance instructors but Olivia really changed our perception and now we love to dance. We recommend checking out Anytime Dance, and if you can work with Olivia you'll be in good hands. read more

We used Believe Ballroom to prepare for our first dance and had a wonderful experience! We worked with Olivia on our first dance for our wedding in April, and I cannot say enough great things about our experience there. Olivia is so friendly - she puts you right at ease with her sense of humor and calm demeanor - and she's a KILLER dance teacher. She's patient, observant, and knows how to cater her instruction to different levels. Our first dance was amazing! We felt so comfortable on the dance floor and received compliments on our dance the whole evening. Best of all, we will have the skills for life. We owe it all to Olivia! read more

I found Bienvenue on groupon when looking for private dance lessons for my fiancé and I for our wedding dance. We went for our first lesson with Urosh and were hooked. My fiancé being German, we really wanted to do the traditional Viennese waltz which is a difficult dance to learn. Urosh was so patient and helped choreograph it in a way that was easy and looked beautiful. He then helped us transition into something more modern for our second song. We ended up buying a package of another 10 lessons and he helped us perfect everything for our Sept 2014 wedding. They have studios in both Hoboken and NYC and we would definitely recommend Urosh for all your wedding dance needs! read more

My Fiance and I recently started private dance classes for our wedding. We started off with a groupon to test it out, and our instructor Uros is so amazing we bought additional session. I highly recommend this studio and 110% Uros. aside from getting married I would definitely recommend this studio for any person or couple that is looking for dance lessons. read more

I went to the open house tonight with a friend and it was a blast! If you are looking for something fun and challenging to do come to Anytime dance studio! The beginner classes are challenging but not impossible. The dance instructors are very welcoming. They are also very patient. I went to the beginner salsa class, and I must admit I was having trouble with my turns . Eugene (sry if I spelt it wrong) was very helpful and patient with me. There was a dance party afterward where everyone got a chance to show off what they learned and it was also an opportunity to ask questions if you had any. Thank you so much to Anytime Dance Studio for an unforgettable night read more

My husband and I took classes with Sebastian before our wedding and we had an absolutely amazing experience! Sebastian was so dedicated to making sure that we not only had an amazing first dance but also how to dance for any other wedding or event that we attended. We had such a fun time working with him and could not recommend him enough. Classes with Sebastian not only taught us how to communicate as dance partners but as well as how to communicate more effectively as a couple. Plus we will always now have an absolutely amazing (and unique) memory of our first dance! read more

One month before our wedding, we were panicking over finding a dance instructor. We took the introductory lesson with Diego and decided that this was the place for us. It was nice that there was a parking lot behind the building (SO rare in hoboken). Diego was such a great and patient teacher. He has a way of teaching small routines and slowly combining them into a full dance. He was able to choreograph and teach us a 2 minute route in a short amount of time. We were both surprised by how much we enjoyed these lessons. It was a time set aside for us to spend time and learn something together. By the time our wedding came around, we were both comfortable with the routine and had no slip ups!! The guests were definitely entertained. Thank you, Diego and Bienvenue Dance Center for helping us make our big day even more perfect :) read more

My fiancé did private lessons and group lessons here in preparation for our 1st dance. What I like about this dance studio is that everyone is so willing to help and most importantly, humble. We did our private lessons with Regina Maziarz, who, by the way, made the whole experience worthwhile. Of course there were serious moments where we had to buckle down and learn the choreography, but at the same time, she knew how to make the process enjoyable. Trust me, when you're learning a new form of dance (we did Rumba and Salsa for our 1st dance), there's a lot of 'learning to lead and learning to follow' that has to be practiced. Regina made sure to go over the choreography step by step, was critical when we needed her to be, and was very open to a lot of ideas we had. The lessons went by so fast and I can't tell you how prepared we were in the week leading up to the wedding!! If and when you do decide to take private lessons here, be sure to be as open and direct as possible. The studio and instructors are reasonable and will tailor the lessons to you and how you want it to look. After all, you'll be spending a lot of time in and outside of the studio to perfect your masterpiece. Forgot to mention, our 1st dance received so much great feedback from our guests. We cannot thank you enough!!!!!! read more

My fiancé and I purchased a wedding dance class package at the Bienvenue Dance Center in Hoboken. We worked with Uros and could not be happier with the results. After our first class, we were skeptical that we would be able to pull off a choreographed wedding dance, but Uros continued to work with us and after 5 short classes we feel confident that we are going to nail it on our wedding day! Thanks Uros!! read more

My fiance and I decided to take dance lessons for our wedding and it was such an amazing experience! In only 6 classes, Urosh was able to choreograph the most beautiful dance for us on our special day. We had never taken any dance classes before and Urosh was such a patient, wonderful teacher who listened to what we wanted and liked, but also pushed us to try choreography that was a bit more challenging - he really struck the perfect balance and it was well worth it to hear everyone cheering and applauding our first dance as husband and wife. This is a must do if you are getting married! read more

My fiance and I have been working with Olivia at Anytime Dance for about two month and we absolutely love it! Olivia has made us feel so comfortable and confident while learning new dance techniques. We now are implementing what we have learned into our wedding dance and we are so excited! We both are enjoying our time while practicing and we want to continue to dance with her even after the big day! read more

Olivia is a phenomenal dance teacher. We went to her 8 weeks before our wedding day with an almost impossible feat - teach two people who had never salsa-ed before how to do a first dance to Vivir Mi Vida - one of the faster songs we could have chosen. We took 15 dance classes total and absolutely nailed it on our wedding day - to a standing ovation! Olivia started with basic steps so we understood the rumba and salsa, and then starting choreographing our dance with incredibly complicated spins and turns which we never thought we'd master - but with her patience and coaching we were able to pull it together, complete with a fused together intro of "You've Got a Friend in Me" by Randy Newman. We highly recommend her and the dance studio (where we took a few side classes to practice our salsa steps!) read more

The studio was great and got me dancing in time for my wedding! Excellent staff super friendly :)
