After our car was hit on the driver's side, we knew we needed a repair shop we could trust. The…read moreinsurance company pushed their "preferred" shop, but it felt like a conflict of interest as like they cared more about saving money than doing the job right. Then we called a few dealerships, and while we knew they'd do decent work, the pressure to commit immediately left a bad taste in our mouths. We searched collision repair shops and found Golden Touch Collision Center, run by Mr. Sayed. From the very first call, it was clear this wasn't just another shop. It was a family-owned business that truly cares. The reviews spoke for themselves, and after our experience, I can confidently say they live up to every bit of the praise. What stood out most was the personalized service. Mr. Sayed treated us like family, not just another claim number. The work was dealer-quality, but with the warmth and attention you only get from a local business. A small item was accidentally overlooked (something any other shop might have dismissed), Mr Sayed went above and beyond to make it right--no excuses, just outstanding customer care. Even dealing with the rental car company was stress-free because he stepped in to help communicate and ensure we had transportation the entire time. That level of dedication is rare. If you're looking for honest, high-quality repairs with a personal touch, Golden Touch is the only place you should go! We'll never use anyone else. Mr. Sayed and his team have earned our trust for life and we highly, HIGHLY recommend them!

However, in my opinion, from the standpoint of someone garnering quotes for a future mirror replacement, the receptionist or customer service associate who answered the phone did not have a good enough concept of (potential) customer relations. After a truly harrowing, somewhat traumatizing freeway experience, I thought the person answering the phone would at least have some kind of empathy or even just a professional, friendly tone. My initial request to speak to a mechanic or service advisor was ignored. Anyways, I volunteered info about the make, model, year and color of the car, but she only seemed interested in the VIN number, which I provided. Any other place asks for all of this info. She actually said I read the VIN number too fast at the end of my reading of it, which makes no sense as I never read numbers that fast out of courtesy. I even took the extra step of making sure she got the letters correctly, but, again, she did not appreciate that. Instead, she rather unprofessionally and abruptly ended the entire call. I've never had this kind of low vibration, low intelligence customer service from any auto-related business. So, I called back and left a message thinking perhaps the owner would contact me either the same day or the next, to no avail. Every other business I have contacted, from dealerships to independent repair and body shops, have had much more impressive and professional communications.

Lots of history on the walls, and as a Wyatt Earp nerd, they have some photos of him hanging up in there. So that alone was worth 4 stars. Had a great walk around with their estimates guy, Dallas, who let me watch the estimate as he was putting it in. Shows they have nothing to hide and are open to you asking questions. They were cheaper than all the other estimates I received and they were by far the nicest. Took my truck in on a Monday around 10 and it was done Wednesday afternoon. Pretty quick turn around time! Now here is where they impressed the pants off of me. My daughter accidentally opened the door into a holly bush, and scratched up the door. These guys here went above and beyond to professionally buff out the scratches and did it with out even bringing it up to my wife who picked up the vehicle. To do a random act of kindness is so rare now a days that I had to bring it up, and write this review. If you need body or paint done, this is your place in the cy-fair area. Thank you again guys!!

I was very impressed by the gentleman, Marc, that talked me out of getting HIDs. He explained to me that my bumper was fine, it was the spoiler under it that continued to catch on curbs. I obtained a quote from him, I was still shopping around and let him know that I'd be in touch. After exploring other body shops I decided that Rancourt was the best of all of the places I visited. I called to confirm that I wanted to have the body work done but Marc hadn't made a note of it. Then, I thought about it, and remembered that he hadn't gotten my name or my vehicle's VIN number. The gentleman that took my call jotted my information and told me he'd place a note on Marc's computer so that he'd get in touch with me. Five days later (4 business days) I still had not received a call from Rancourt. I was running errands so I decided to stop by the shop. By then, they had my estimate and needed me to put down money for repair. I paid the repair in full and was told they would call me one the side mirror had arrived. Three business days later, I decided to call on a whim to see if the part had arrived. It had and they were in the process of painting it. Again- no one called to schedule a time for me to drop off my car. I had to call THEM. On the phone I was thinking aloud of what day I wanted to drop off my car. The young lady on the phone stated something to the effect of "you want to think about it and call us back." I felt like I was being rushed or as if she was exasperated that I was taking time (albeit 20 seconds or less) to think about all that I had going on that day. I made an appointment and was told to drop off the car before 8AM. I was told it would be ready before the end of the business day and I would receive a call once my vehicle was ready. I dropped my vehicle off before 8 AM the morning of my appointment and went home (my friend followed me there to drive me home). No one called. I waited until the next morning to call, thinking: Maybe they needed more time than they estimated. When I called I found out that the wrong mirror had been ordered which delayed the repair. Again, no one called me of this development. I would have completely understood if someone had only reached out to me. The repair of the mirror was done just fine. I just wish that there had been better communication.

They arranged Enterprise to pick me up, handled my car with care, and repaired it to it's pre-accident condition. *Beware*: Terrible communication, terrible quality control…read more Them: "We don't just leave you hanging and not communicate like other collision centers" Me: "You are have been literally doing that this entire time" Background: My car was hit with a branch during the derecho in May. I needed back windshield repaired, some scratches fixed, and plastic part behind the seat repaired. Communication: The entire time it was with Best Collision Center, I was called once - when it was time to pick up car. All the other times was me trying to get an update on the process, where things were, timing of when it would be done, follow ups when it was not done when I was told. Literally, towards the end, called on Monday was told, "It is like the next in line for paint" and "it would probably be done Friday". Only for Friday to roll around and not hear anything, then following Monday told "it is next in line for paint, probably done Friday". I asked well that's what you told me last week. They then told me, "oh well let me actually go ask where it is". Yes, they just... kinda guess, finger in the wind on where you are. You have to specifically ask, "can you actually go and look to see where I am, and how long it will take" before they will even know where you are. At no point did they ever call to say here is what will be fixed, (insurance will do that), which I also had to call and find out. Was even asked if I wanted to fix all the damage (perhaps I'd rather have the cash instead of fixing the scratches). Quality Control: The icing on the cake, is when I go to pick up my car. Asked for money (no receipt, when I asked for one, it was like a weird request as if no one had done that before on a transaction that was over 1000 dollars), and handed keys. It wasn't until I walked out to my car, alone, to inspect that I noticed the car had bubbles all over it. No just like tiny ones, but 2-3 inch ones (see images). When I walked back in, they were shocked. What do you mean it has bubbles... huh.. "yeah its after market". Not our problem. "So what do you want us to do?" I want a windshield that doesn't look like crap that is brand new. If you buy terrible parts, that is not my fault. So after a useless conversation, they best they could do was remove the tint, which he replied "that's like 200 dollars for new tint". Okay great... how long will it take, "Umm I'm not sure... maybe end of day, maybe tomorrow. I don't know." Then what's even better, after picking it up their solution of removing tint, I open the trunk to find TONS glass pieces (see images - all of those are pieces of glass). So while being charged to clean up the glass... it didn't actually happen. The idea of quality control is just non-existent.
