These guys do my annual inspections (3 cars) and I have been going there for years. Always…read morecourteous, friendly and responsive. Never an issue. You need to understand that shops that do state inspections do not make money on an inspection. By default, all these shops will go through the obvious and inspect other areas (fluids and quality of, brakes, etc, etc,) and provide an opinion/recommendation as to what they see and recommend servicing (whether there / elsewhere). I am mechanically inclined and do almost all of my own maintenance (timing belt, H20 pump, transmission. brakes, etc). I even plug my own tires when running over the occasional roofing nail (as long as it is not along side-wall). Note: NONE of the chain-type service shops repair tires because of liability. For example, I just had my CX5 serviced at Mazda (was going on trip and they had a $99 special on Synthetic Oil change and tire rotation - and free car wash). I do like to get "some" things done through the dealership I bought the car at (2017) - keeps me in good standing. Their service dept "recommended about $900 of "other" items they think should be considered. I can do most of them myself without issue. I never think of these as always being a "sales-pitch". I see them as data point. A reminder to look at the service manual recommendations and then decide what to do about it.

I've been going to get service and oil change here for years, atleast 6 years. I always felt that…read morethey did right by me and I've always been treated with kindness. I am a female which sometimes being a female you don't know places to trust because they feel like females know less about cars. I know quite a bit, but unfortunately I can't do my own basic maintenance on my car. 5 days ago after getting my oil changed here I found out some things. I want to add that my vehicle is 6 years old and with only 84,000 miles. Always timely oil changes, change of tires, up keep is done. I came in for my normal oil change and left pleased. I had confidence that the oil was changed, new oil filter, full service as always. The very next morning, I heard knocking in my car, and as I drive it, it got louder and then lost power and knocking grew louder and my car completely stopped. After I had it towed to a mechanic they said it sounds like the motor was gone. They pulled out the oil stick and showed me that the oil was added not changed, just oil added. The oil was tar black in color but you could see where new oil was poured into it. Not even the filter was taken off. On my car you have your pull off a cover to get to the oil filter. Not touched. So basically the oil poured over into the pvc/motor and flooded it. After showing Mac that the oil was not changed and he told me that he would go get my car and look at it, He didn't. Then after going over there and confronting him about it, he said he'd send a tow truck then after that still waiting, he told the tow that I'd have to pay for it. There is no responsibility being taken on his part. He keeps brushing it off. Other mechanics don't want to touch it due to what Xpress lube has done. Mac keeps beating around the bush. A true Wolf in sheep's clothing. I recommend that if you go go there that you definitely check behind them before you leave the premises. Especially if it's an oil change

Told them I'm done and went down the road to Quality Care. They took me in right away. Told me the time it would take and it ended up taking less time than they initially told me. This automotive service business has good and not-so-good issues. I started doing business with…read morethem in December 2011 after another Havoline Express I used for years closed down for a road expansion. Here's the good: This place is clean and my wife would certainly feel comfortable there. Most of the employees are polite and professional, especially those who ring you up when your work is done. Only once did they try to upsell me car services that I did not need (I was a mechanic earlier in my career). Depending on when you arrive, you can often be in and out in under 20 minutes. The wall between the waiting area and the work area is glass, allowing you to somewhat see some of the work being done to your vehicle. Here's the not so good: When my oil filter is replaced, it drips lots of oil onto a support under my engine. If the mechanic doesn't clean it off, it drips on the floor of my garage for the next couple of weeks. The Havoline Xpress I used before this one always cleaned the oil off and it was never a problem. The technicians here, regardless of how nice I ask, will not clean this area after removing the oil filter even though they assure me they will when I ask. I have a vehicle with rear wheel drive. From the waiting area I can see they do not check the lubricant level in the rear differential even though they say on their check sheet (the one they give you when you leave) that they did. They also make erroneous comments on the check sheet regarding your response to questions they ask you. Once I realized the mechanics here were not performing services they claim to, I contacted the general manager, Doug Langford in writing to ask about it. To his credit, Doug contacted me by e-mail, advising me that he and the owner were looking into my concerns. To his detriment, that was the only time I heard from him. When I returned a couple of months later, things seemed very differently for the better. As best I could tell, all service functions listed on the check list were performed including the oil that drips on my garage floor after an oil change. Sadly this is not the end of the story. When I returned two weeks ago, service was back to bad. The lubricant level on my rear differential was not checked, the support that catches (then leaks) the oil was not cleaned, and although no mechanic spoke to me while I was there, my check list stated that I had told a mechanic that all services (for other things not included in an oil change) had been done. The following day I sent the manager another message outlining my visit, but it's been a week and a half and he hasn't responded yet. I am sorry to walk away from this business because it is clean, most of the people there are nice, and it is conveniently located to me. But if they will falsify information, pick and choose the services they do underneath your vehicle, as well as fib about something as little as wiping some excess oil off, I can't trust them with my vehicles anymore. On top of that, I am afraid of other important lubricating services/functions they may be skipping underneath my truck. Checking the differential is much simpler than some of the other things they are supposed to do underneath my truck. Knowing they are skipping that makes me feel they are likely skipping other things. I don't plan to go back. Without trust, I cannot do business here.
