Eric helped me with the loan, lease, etc. It was a bit rocky, but all went smoothly. The practice itself is wonderful and I feel like I got a bargain. I requested an extra month to close, which they accommodated. They are super busy, as they have lots of listings. But you want your broker busy so they can close the deals. Thanks again guys!

Permanently losing a potential customer with 2 short phone calls doesn't appear to be a very sustainable business model to me. But looking at all these previous reviews, am I not surprised! Here is the backstory: So I'm dentist shopping for a dental practice in Orange County...saw one that I'm really interested in, call the broker up, got more info, all is well. As I kept on looking at other brokers' websites, I came across the same dental office for sale on First Choice's website. Umm, strange, I thought the other guy told me that they had an exclusive listing with the seller. So I signed up with First Choice's newsletter via its website to get more information--they had more photos, and the price was higher, and it's listed as a NEW listing. What's going on here? Called the first broker, they said they'll check into it. Two days later, the practice is no longer on the first broker's website. Okay, something happened, maybe the seller decided he wanted to go with another broker who promised to sell fast at a higher price. Whatever it was, I didn't really care. I just want to get more information on the practice in question, arrange a viewing inside, all that due diligence stuff. Here is what happened today: I was this close to faxing over to First Choice the signed confidential letter (all brokers need this document for them to tell you more). Just out of curiosity I picked up the phone wanted to find out whether they have the exclusive on this practice. I thought maybe they're better, that's why the seller went to them instead of the first broker. I told the lady the property's listing number, and was promptly transferred to Reno (I see that on Yelp it says that he's the founder). I briefly reiterated my interest in the property... In a pretty blunt tone of voice, he asked me "I don't mean to be rude, but what question do you have? Let's just get straight to it." I was quite taken back, this just sounded rude. If you are a dentist and is reading this, you realize that most of the time when we're dealing with reps, brokers, etc. we're their customers and sources of income, we experience nothing but courtesy. Okay, maybe it's a bad day for Reno and he has a short fuse. Me: "My question is that whether you have a exclusive listing with this property?" A few second pause on the other end. Reno: "And who is this that's asking the question?" Me: "This is a potential buyer." Reno: "And what's this potential buyer's name?" I thought I told him...maybe I didn't, but I'm pretty sure I told the lady. Me: "This is Sheldon." Reno: "Goodbye Sheldon." The guy hung up the phone on me!! This is unbelievable. Did that question offend him somehow? Must be. If he sounded rude before, what he did is definitely rude in my book. Pretty upset by now, I called the number again, the same lady picked up the phone. She asked what's up, I said that guy she transferred me to hung up on me, and that I want to speak to her supervisor. She took down my name again...and Reno picked up: "I'm the supervisor, you want to report me?" Heck, yea, I do. Me: "What's your name sir?" I forgot his name from the first phone call. Reno: "This is Reno." Me: "You hung up on me. I just want to know whether you have an exclusive contract with the seller?" Having read the backstory, whoever is reading this should know why that's important to me. Why would I want to work with a broker that readily loses his contract to another broker? Did the first broker even have a contract with the seller? If they had one, why did the seller switched broker? Maybe Reno is the best, the best thing since sliced bread, who knows. Honestly I don't remember exactly what he said, something to the extent of "we only disclose information as deemed necessary". After which he hung up on me again. AGAIN!! I could feel my chest pounding, must be all those epinephrine molecules being pumped into my bloodstream, fight or flight. Well, I decided to calm down and see where I can report my experience. I called the Orange County Chamber of Commerce, they referred me to the Business Consumer Alliance and the Better Business Bureau, and to Yelp. To all readers: You see how far dissatisfied customers are willing to go to make public of their bad experience? Hint, hint, treat people well, with basic courtesy, and you may prosper. Instead, First Choice not only lost me...before I even became their customer!! Crazy right? But now, I don't even know how many people I will tell to stay away from this business. I read other reviewers related their own experience, how it's not looking out for them, only want to make a quick buck...well, I will never find out. I don't ever wish any ill onto other people; however, If a business that's meant to serve customers, instead take advantage of them, it should not exist.

The city of Rancho Cucamonga denied responsibility. And the property manager who should've been responsible, not only made me look like it was my fault, but did not even offer consolation, compensation, but cold heartedly denied that it was their responsibility and that their gardeners are professionals. Didn't care about my injury that will include dermatologist, procedure, and medication. Other reviews used exact words with no heart. Yolanda gave attitude and in tears I realized that there are cold people like her who will not do what's just. Never lease in this property area or with this company. So sad to read the other reviews as well. I don't want this injury to happen to anyone who goes to 24 hour fitness to get healthier and walk away injured because of unprofessional landscaping gardeners. Just cut the bush down and keep it away from projecting over the sidewalk where people are walking. Sadly, she accuses me that this has never happened before and I'm the first one. I've heard that excuse before plenty of times. It doesn't matter if you're the first or the last. An injury is an injury and you need to compensate $300 for me to go through my medical expenses. BE AWARE! This should never happen to anyone. All the businesses from Denny's to 24 hour fitness... your property management will not protect your customers! It's not all about money. A management company should be a balance between the owner and tenant not just the owner and their bottom line. It's sad to see such a big company with no heart! They forget and make false promises.     One of the most frustrating rental experiences I've had, largely due to how this was handled by…read moremanagement, specifically Christopher and David. The unit was listed at $4,200. We initially explored pricing and ultimately submitted a paid application for $4,000, not $3,800 as they later claimed in their response. We have email proof confirming this. We were also told there could be flexibility around $4,100 if we had strong documentation, which we did. Based on that, we were encouraged to apply, pay fees, and submit everything. After doing all of that, there was no real movement or consideration. What made this worse was their response, which included inaccurate statements about us "lowballing" and "going behind our agent." That is simply not true. We were fully transparent with our agent the entire time, and she can confirm that. We also have texts supporting it. Nothing was hidden or "found out" later. Instead of focusing on a reasonable $100 difference that could have easily made both parties happy, they chose to argue and escalate things publicly through responses rather than work toward a solution. That says a lot about their priorities. The bigger issue here is the lack of transparency. If the price was always firm at $4,200, that should have been clearly stated upfront. Instead, we were led to believe there was flexibility, only to find out after paying application fees that there wasn't. The communication throughout felt dismissive and unprofessional, and their response only reinforced that. My advice to anyone considering renting through them: be cautious before paying any application fees, and make sure any statements about pricing flexibility are clearly confirmed in writing. Based on this experience, I would not recommend working with this team.
