Luckily, Car Medic was just down the street from where I was having the problem and they got me right in and the van repaired. It was Sunday afternoon so I figured no place would be open but a quick Yelp search turned up Car Medic! It was 5:30pm and their listed hours say they close at 6 but I took the chance and went anyway. They stayed late to take a look at my transmission, said they didn't see a crack or leak, but it was low on fluid so they topped it off and sent me on my way. They were really nice and honest -- they could have told me anything and I would have believed them. They charged me 1/2 hour labor and that was it. The lobby area was messy and dirty but other than that I was very impressed.
