You can either fix it or you can't or won't, and it would have been nice to know that upfront . I paid over $500 for him to completely disassemble my car , not fix the problem, and not put it back together. Mind you, we brought the car to them with the problem already identified. Just needed someone to fix it! They made us shop for a transmission lol! A transmission place! Now they are giving us hell about towing it because it's in pieces. They told my husband that his car was a piece of junk. This car was fixable if it was in the right hands. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else . Very disappointed in this shop. Disrespectful and incompetent.

I decided to go with this place anyway and I am so glad I did. Not only was he able to fix my issue on such a short notice, but Steve personally handled this. For the price: he was less than what AI was telling me other places charge within the area. I never felt like I didn't know the status of my vehicle, I never felt like I was in the dark, and I never felt like I wasn't "family". I have already recommended this place to my family up here, and a lot of friends in the area. Hands-down, Steve's is the best mechanic I've ever had the blessing to run into. Seriously, why would you go anywhere else if you're within the Toledo area? 100 out of 10.

I found Bargain Towing online and they were a pleasant God send from start to finish. Sam was very communicative on the phone and gave the best quote in comparison to the other 5 companies I called. He kept me in the loop on what would happen and how soon the tow truck would arrive. And when Billy arrived to pickup my car he was extremely pleasant and talked me through everything he would be doing and dropped my car off safely at my house without incident. Hoping our paths do not need to cross again, lol, but if they do I have their number saved in my phone because they were a ray of sunshine after a gloomy moment. I do think that they were cheaper a few years ago but now they're kind of online with a lot of other places but not like Midas or such. Sam is very friendly and responsive. If you need to just roll up and get something done they are very fast. Average time for me has taken maybe an hour to get a lot of things done. You can bring your own parts or have them order it. Lots of the times I will bring my own and just pay for labor. Up to you. This past time I got front brake pads and a caliper replaced. The mechanic took me back to the shop and showed me what the difficulty was so that I didn't think I was getting scammed. I appreciate that and they remember every time that I bring my car in there. I DO NOT RECOMMEND Toledo Auto and Tire !!!!!!!!!!!! I took…read moremy Audi to this shop to have the spark plugs changed before a road trip, and they assured me they could handle the job without hesitation. Unfortunately, about a month later, my car stopped turning over. I took it to another shop to have it diagnosed, and I was shocked to find out that Toledo Auto and Tire shop had installed Chrysler spark plugs in my Audi. That could have potentially caused serious issues if I hadn't caught it when I did. If they didn't have the correct parts, they should have been upfront about it instead of making a substitution without telling me. The work should be done correctly--not just done for the sake of saying it's finished. I would not trust this shop with my vehicle again, not even for something as simple as a tire change. Their prices may be cheap, but in my experience, the quality of the work matched the price. I'd rather pay more at a reputable shop and know the job is being done properly. Based on my experience, I do not recommend this shop. Please do your research and make sure the shop working on your vehicle is using the correct parts and following proper procedures.
