Cute little park/playground right on the beach in Center Moriches. If you take Belleview (or Bellvue - apparently it is called both) down to the end, you'll end up at Webby's Park. It has just been revamped after Hurricane Sandy seems to have trampled much of the area. A brand new playground has been installed. There are no dogs allowed in the park sadly, but you can enter into Terrell River County Park just a few hundred yards from here ( which IS dog-friendly). There are no bathrooms or other amenities. Just a lovely, little park with beach access in a very nice and safe community.

Some of the rockiness of the beach.

Everything will look the same and there's a lot twists and turns. It has happened to me and I'm pretty well versed in hiking and trails. My swissy loves it here. He's not really a runner, so trails and lots of stuff to sniff and check out are his thing. It's pretty busy in the on season and relatively desolate in the off season, but it's nice either way. If you don't mind bundling up, doing some off season walking and hiking might be for you. It's very beautiful and extremely quiet, almost too quiet. I have always felt safe here. As a lady, it can be off putting to be in a large place alone but I always see rangers here and there even if other people aren't around. Many people bring their dogs to run and hike- most are good but as with any public place there are always some bad eggs. I would deff check this one out if you haven't. I often find that we stop and just watch nature. It's a really great way to get out and do something that feels different each time you go. Most of the photos are of my dog but you get an idea of what it looks like!

The park trails need maintenance as there are overgrown trees, and laid over trees across paths. Some of the trail access have planks of wood for soft ground that is rotting away. The two associates at the front were super helpful and patient as well, you had to sign up for a waiting list for the virtual reality and they made sure everybody got a chance. My nephew is autistic and they were really patient with him which I appreciated. The reason for the 4 star review is the fact that it was expensive for three of us and not a lot of exhibits. It was hands one which I loved but the main reason we went there was for the drones and they were broken when we got there. I am hoping to go back when the drones are available but for the price, not sure yet. The kids had a really nice time though.

The magnetic wall and the car activities were great, flying the drone was so much fun (well, more like crashing it). Blocks, building of structures, coloring and some electric circuit building activities were available. Ages range - our 3 year old loved it. Some older kids were into the VR and 3D printer pens, and other activities. The price is good - 15 for all day of adventures was reasonable. The space was smallish but airy and bright and clean. There were no bathrooms on the premises but there is one outside behind the stores. It's rather inconvenient when kids are playing and don't want to stop. Overall, we loved the space and would go back again.

The entrance is easy to miss--the sign is small and blends into the bushes, so GPS is recommended. There is a grass and sand parking lot with one handicap space. Inside, the park is divided into two fenced areas: one for small dogs and one for large dogs. Each has a double-gated entrance, but the small dog gate is difficult to close and often left open. Some repairs look to have been done by locals with rope, but proper maintenance is needed. Combined, both sections are about the size of a football field. The large dog area has two shade trees, while the small dog area has none. Each section has a few benches. Visitors have left behind toys and bowls, but it's best not to use the water bowls--others have reported kennel cough. It gets very hot here in the summer months. Bringing water in a bowl is recommended. There are only two trash cans, both outside the fenced areas, and waste cleanup is inconsistent. Bring your own bags (though sometimes donated bags are available). The park is surrounded by brush and fields, with possible poison ivy/oak. Mosquitoes can be an issue, but I haven't had any flea or tick problems here. The county mows every couple of weeks, which helps, though the parking lot and walkways are often overgrown. Most of the dogs are medium to large breeds in the big dog section, but a handful of small dogs do come regularly. Overall, the dogs are friendly and the owners are great--I've only come across one or two dogs that weren't a good fit, which is typical for any dog park. Locals visit year-round, even in the snow, and there's usually at least one or two people here no matter the time of day. There is also an old, unused agility ramp in the large dog area. The park is open year-round with no posted hours. I'm rating this dog park three stars. While I enjoy bringing my dog here and I'm grateful it exists (especially since there aren't many dog parks on Long Island), it needs better maintenance and more accessible trash cans. In my opinion, the small dog area is oversized for the number of small dogs that use it, and overall the park doesn't measure up to four- or five-star dog parks I've visited elsewhere. That said, it's still worth a visit--the space is large, the community of dogs and owners is wonderful, and it's the best option nearby.

Love this place! Dogs are friendly, the people are very nice. Field is huge and all fenced in.read more

One doesn't "Need" a barn and what does one even put in a barn?? Is it like a Silo? Does one store corn or grain?? Man, you are just filled with questions! I live in Long Island and work in NYC. In the 90's I built a house. Wait, I more like GC's my house. I hired a plumber, a painter, a sheet rock guy and we all built this thing together. Kinda like a collaboration, where all I did was swing a hammer and paid everyone. Well, I need a place for my car. My house is on a hill so I want a detected garage. I call my builder and there is a structure that was built probably in 1930. Well to tear it down and build a one car garage, 30K. 30K?? What that hell man! So I drive by this place on 112 and I see a huge barn! I mean this sucka has a loft!! Car on the bottom and a man cave loft on top to play cards with my buddies and smoke stogies, yes!!! I walk into the place and the salesperson is Amish. I tell him I want the barn with the loft! He says, well you have to have a permit from the Stony Brook historic center before I can come. Oh, Hogwash. Here is cash. I'll have the area cleared for this sucka. Here you go. Sir, I can not sell you the most expensive barn on my lot without a permit. Are we in New York????? I'm all bummed and I drive by "Gera Gardens" . They sell sheds, swing sets and barns! I find a nice single car barn with double doors (No loft) I'm thinking I'll be like Batman and bash thru the doors when I want to drive my car. haha Very reasonably priced, I had the old structure torn down. I bought some gravel and had it all graded for my new garage/barn. The truck driver comes down my block. They put down some platform for the barn to rest on, then it was the coolest thing ever, the barn was on this huge "swing arm" and was rested on the platform. Dealing with GG was not a hassle, they sell all sizes of barns, sheds, swings, kids swing sets. My barn has been standing for over 15 years. GG sells a quality product
