Great service. Was finished the next business day after dropping it off per the appointment. Welded and painted at an unbelievable price. Highly recommend them. I know it's a small thing, but, when it's the steps to a motorhome and you are between two big trips with a short layover - it's a big deal in this day and age of waiting forever. read more

Webb's Welding - Metal Fabricators Near Me - Vacaville, California

I had to make several calls and 2 office visits to have them come to my home for an estimate for work. They finally came to measure and promised to contact me for an estimate. I made a follow up phone call re: the estimate. I was promised an estimate within a few days. That was over a month ago. I finally found someone else and expanded the scope of the project. read more

They were able to do what I wanted and even surpassed my expectations...I will be returning whenever I need any welding or fabrication done... read more

If you are serious about getting something welded, don't stop here. I dropped off a 1965 Nova fuel tank to have a sump welded to the bottom. This was a brand new fuel tank and brand new sump. They had the parts for 7 business days and when I went to pick up the part, I was in disbelief. Look at the pictures. It looked as if a person with zero welding experience did this. Actually, it looked more like a backyard welding job. Jim looked at it and said, "Yeah, it's not pretty, but I didn't do it." If this "Jim" is Jim Webb, the owner, what a poor excuse of an owner. How could you let a crappy weld job leave your building when your reputation is riding on it. Jim said he can clean it up for me, but when I told him I came all the way from Sacramento, he had nothing to say. I told him that they had the project for over a week, he said, "Yeah, I know. You dropped it off on a Friday when I wasn't here." To make it even worse, I told him that I wanted it TIG welded. He turned to the other guy in the shop, the one who took my stuff when I dropped it off, and asked him if this was supposed to be TIG and he said he knew nothing about it. No integrity. Finally, the best part yet. I asked Jim how much was this going to cost me. He looked at the invoice and said $100. I said, "$100?" Jim said that the quote was between $150-200. I told him it was because it was supposed to be TIG welded. He said, "I know." Well, if you knew and it wasn't what the customer wanted, then why would you not fix the problem? I wasn't there to have a favor done for free. I was a paying customer. This place does not take any pride in their work. Look at the pictures and tell me if you were the owner of a welding shop, would you let this project leave your shop? The fact that he did, the fact that he didn't stop what he was doing to fix it, the fact that he didn't take ownership of the project regardless if he welded it or not, all these facts combined is a revelation that maybe you shouldn't be in business. read more

I highly recommend webbs welding. No other welding shop was able to weld the tower on my boat. Every place I checked out said the crack was too close to the bend. Here they were able to weld and reinforce it. Also, they managed to complete the weld by the next day so I can make my camping trip. I will continue to use Webbs welding and I greatly appreciate the customer service they gave me. read more

Used their service for a small job. It took 2 days. Charged us less than $10. Pretty straight forward, no nonsense. I'd go back and use their service again. Need to be friendly though. read more

I came here before to have a skid plate made out of a pattern I designed. Jim did an awesome job, and price was very reasonable. Today, I came back, and had JC start another project. I designed a prerunner bumper for my Tacoma, and JC weld it together for me. It will take couple more trips to finish it but these guys are very accommodating. I will not go anywhere else. I highly recommend it! read more

I have gone to Webb's Welding many times in the last 35 years. They have always done an outstanding job. I have had seat frames custom built for my CJ7, hand rails for my steps leading to my house, shock towers welded on my Chevy C10, custom welding done on the trailer for my 1957 Chris Craft, etc. If you want a good weld job for a reasonable price, this is the place to go to. read more

Went in there expecting to be priced right out of my project which was to weld together a 40"x40" patio coffee table base for a left over piece of expensive granite. His pricing was extremely reasonable and he even threw in feet adjusters welded in place which was not a part of the original pricing. Going to have one heck of a beautiful table now at a fraction of the price I would pay retail. Thanks Jim! read more

I went there for a pretty simple project. They told me that it would cost 75 to 100 dollars to complete. I agreed to the cost even though 100 dollars an hour seems high. I was told to come back with the fitting and it would take a couple of days to complete. I went back a fee days later and the work was completed... minus, they welded the fitting on upside down. They proceeded to blame me for not specifying the direction. Clearly anybody that makes sure to tell you how professional they are at welding and charging 100 dollars an hour would know that the fitting could only be used one way. They told me to come back in three more days and it would be done right the second time. I came back for what was now the third time at the shop and they still didn't have it completed. I was told to come back in an hour and it would be fixed. I picked it up and it was tottaly warped from them over heating the metal and the fitting they welded had a huge weld around it due to the fact that they cut it out and redid it. They charged me 100 dollars. I gave two stars because they aren't worth the price and they didn't accept responsibility for doing it wrong the first time. I don't be using them again. read more
