Bought a Fusion here and the damn thing died on my way to work the next morning. I had it towed to the nearest dealership which was Van Druenen. They fixed the problem. I went back to Webb that evening to tell them what happened. I wasn't even really looking for anything except a "We're sorry that happened. How about we check the car over to make sure there are no other issues." And what I got was "what do you want us to do about it?" I was livid that their management would be so flippant. I should have listened to the woman who came out of the dealership and saw us looking at a car. She told us not to buy from this place. I ended up trading the Fusion in for an Edge at Joe Rizza Ford in Orland Park and I love it. I can't get over the poor customer service at Webb. And in case you think it's only this Webb dealership, it's not. We were just looking at vans at the Webb Hyundai dealership once and they asked if I wanted to see what kind of finance deals I qualified for and if they could get my balance on our current loan, I said they could get balance info but I didn't want any credit checks run until I was ready to buy as I didn't want a hard check on my credit for score purposes. I provided my consent to get the loan balance and they also ran my credit. I had to provide my Social security number for them to obtain the loan info as I didn't have my loan number with me. But when I checked my credit report a week later, I saw a check by Webb Hyundai. Steer clear of the Webb dealerships. read more

One of the sales people gave me attitude said to come back with my dad because he was gonna co-sign for me. I wrote a review on 10/5/15 when we bought the car and because we just lost $6000 thanks to Webb Ford, Highland IN I felt the need to write another. We had to trade the car in today at another dealership and take the loss of $6000 because Webb sold us this car and REFUSED to even speak with us about it. So I recently purchased a 2016 mustang gt through them sales guy was mad and told me someone else was coming to buy the car the next day which was probably a lie because I was coming back when they opened with the cash he never explained anything about the car not that I care because I already knew about the car then I purchased the extended warranty cause my car had really low miles and I wanted to protect my investment the lady that handles all the paper was really nice and professional now I called and spoke with Steve Webb himself about changing my exhaust because no one wants a sports car that purrs like a kitten he tells me if I change my mufflers it changes the compression on the motor lol then the conversation continues and I tell him he is wrong and he catches a attitude I tell him there is no need to be a dick to me I'm a customer he goes on calling me a a a**hole and other choice words of his comes out then I explain that he don't need to cuss at me I'm a customer he says because I said I felt like he was being a dick he said he had a right to then told me that I should come up there so we can settle this like men instead of arguing over the phone and I explain if I come up there and you touch me I will own Webb ford and he laughs and says he's protected... for buying my first car it was the worst experience I called several other fords and they all say I will void the warranty on parts lit cats and o2 sensors but not the motor so these people are jokes and dicks go to valpo to get your new car read more

Stay away from this dealer! I bought a certified vehicle which means it was supposed to have a 172 point inspection. When I bought the vehicle it had a chip in the windshield which I didn't know was part of the inspection. Then I realized a few days later it was overdue for an oil change. I brought it in for an oil change and found out it needed brakes and struts. I called the dealer to explain that I feel the vehicle was not inspected at all and was basically told its my problem now. I called ford and they said I had to deal with the dealer. Very disappointing. If you are going to this dealer I would recommend only buy a new vehicle and stay away from the service dept. Play it safe and just go to a different dealer. Once this place has your money they don't care about anything else. read more

So here is an update on my visit to Webb Ford, My salesman JEFF COTE informed me that since my visit was so pleasant that he give a nice bonus for referrals so of coarse I took him a referral he made a purchase JEFF COTE had me sign a paper for the bonus and said keep and eye on the mail you should receive something shortly of coarse I believed him my referral is going on his 2nd payment and I'm still watching the mail. On top of that when I called him in question about it that's when the real JEFF COTE appeared rude and very snotty on the phone so don't be to quick to post a review. Bought a car here a few years back. Never did they clean the car out or give me my second key which should have been done when I drove off the lot. Not only that the bottom side panel had a scratch that needed to be filled in. I scheduled three appointments after that which were all canceled due to weather concerns. Mind you I've been a loyal customer to Webb Ford and so has my father. Today I go in explain everything with all my paperwork in hand and they'll do nothing for me. I can understand because it's been a while but when I have all my paperwork I don't see the problem. All it would've costed was $160 and everything's good... but because of their consistent bad business practices I will NEVER come back. And I was just thinking about buying a new car! I had a horrible experience and I hope by reading this, I will atleast save someone the trouble of buying a car or truck from this place. I recently bought a used truck at the end of August. The day after I bought it I noticed that there was transmission fluid all over my driveway. I took it in to get it fixed the day after that and they assured me that the transmission would be fine now. Less than a week later, my transmission started shifting whenever it wanted, getting stuck between gears and idling at 6000 rpms. They decided that this wasn't a preexisting problem even though I only had the truck about a week and a half. They made me wait for my warranty to kick in 30 days after I bought it, which ended up actually being over 40 days. I had two park my truck and catch rides to work for a month because they wouldn't provide a rental or fix it because my warranty hadn't started. They fixed it in 3 days and didn't provide a rental even during that time. I got the truck back and then the next morning I noticed it stunk like coolant, my touch screen was fogging up on the inside, and I was losing coolant, which wasn't a problem before I took it in because problems like that I would've noticed. It then took three days to fix again and I got a rental for one because this time they said it wasn't under warranty and cost me 415$ for a 130$ part including labor. So finally I can plate my truck and go put gas in it almost two months later because it is supposedly fine now. They got orange coolant all over the side of my truck, bumper and underneath the hood so it still smells like coolant because it's burning off 3 days later. read more

Well people are usually really excited about getting a new car as I was before the purchase. I bought a brand new car at Webb Ford and had a few things I had wanted as extras and they said it was no problem (and of course i paid for them). One was an electric start and I was assured by the salesman that everything would be on one remote and to my surprise when I got my car back there was the original remote and an extra piece hanging off the fob. I spoke to the manager and he informed me I was misinformed by the sales person and there was no way to get this all in one. I was not happy as I wanted this all in one and would have went somewhere else to get it had I known all in one was not possible as I am sure I paid way more then I would have. Secondly was my windows. I paid to have my windows tinted as dark as legally possible and again when I picked my car up I was sadly disappointed! They were not dark enough and there were bubbles and scratches everywhere! So another trip back and another day without my car! Call me one UNHAPPY CUSTOMER!!!! We had purchased a vehicle from another dealership that is a Ford. Well, it had an oil change from that dealership. We bring the car home, it was leaking. We thought it was from the oil change and it wasn't. It was a transmission leak. The car was sent to Webb Ford in Highland, IN (it was under warranty). We got a loaner from the dealership we purchased the car from. Then Webb fixed the left front seal and bushing. Got the car back. Within a couple of weeks, the front left side was dragging and it seemed like trans was falling out. We couldn't bring it back to Indiana since we live in Illinois. It wouldn't of made it back there. Dealership didn't want to tow it. So we brought it to our Ford dealer close to the house. Which by the way, is an excellent Ford dealer. They had to replace the left front wheel bearing and nut, and resurface the front rotors. They had to send the bill to Webb Ford. The mechanic didn't know what he was doing at Webb Ford. We could have been in a bad accident and died or killed someone else. They don't even deserve 1 star. I wouldn't bring my bike to Webb Ford to have serviced. read more

The service department was not helpfully at all. They replaced my alternator and told me that the new alternator was not charging properly. They told me that it was another system that was causing this issue (a $1000+ fix). I asked them if the new alternator was faulty. They told me that was impossible as it was brand new. I know nothing about cars, so I asked an old family friend who owns a shop back where my parents live about it. He said that he never heard of that system causing alternator issues. My car started to show the same symptoms as it had before the first alternator died, so I took my car to my family friend. Turns out the alternator was faulty. He replaced it. He even gave me the faulty alternator to give back to Webb Ford to get my money back. They refuse because I voided the warranty by going elsewhere to get the alternator replaced. But I could not take it back there, because of the other work they told me they would perform if the problem arose again. Now I am out the 250 dollars for the alternator, which is alot for me not so much for them... read more

Awful. I bought a 2002 Ford Escape from them and a week and a half later my exhaust rusted out. I took it back there and they said it was our fault that we should've gotten it checked out before we bought it. We payed 7,000 in cash and they only gave us 3,500 in credit back. We fought with a used car salesman for a good 2 hours. We had to end up buying a brand new car just so we could trust them. We got 2 other cars checked out and they both had problems. Don't ever buy a used car from Webb ford. Worst choice ever! read more

Webb Ford for starters does not deserve even one star but I have no choice but to give it one. On august 25 at about 2:30 PM I came to Webb Ford to buy a used vehicle and I told the sales staff that I was interested in the explorer model and they just so happened to have one in mind for me. The car was a ruby red 2013 xlt which was completely disgusting inside covered floor to ceiling in food and garbage, it looked as if a group of people had a picnic inside of it. I was told they would clean it and it would be taken care of and they gave it the quick once over so I could take it home that night. The salesman said they didn't have time to have it detailed that day and that we could schedule it to be detailed completely on the following Tuesday which was the August the 29th. My fiancé dropped the vehicle off early around 9am that day and was promised it would be ready before she went to work that Tuesday at 1:00pm. Upon her arrival that day she had to wait longer then the promised time and was late to work, that's strike one. Later on that day we both looked over the vehicle and it was still in bad shape there was dirt everywhere, in every cup holder and crevice. The third row seat and trunk space was left in what looked to be untouched filthy condition, that's strike two. So after all that inconvenience they chose to do it again by asking me to yet again bring the car back again, this time the salesman attempted to be more helpful and he offered to pick my car up on the morning of Tuesday September 5th for a second and final detail. I walked the vehicle once more and pointed out the spots that I wanted taken care of one of which was in the rear of the explorer behind the third row seats. I asked that they simply vacuum the seat backs and the trunk space which we both agreed was not an unreasonable request. I picked my car up on August 5th around 4:45 pm and at first glance everything was fine, now fast foreword to today's date August 7th. Today I took the explorer to the grocery store and upon folding the third row seats flat I found that the rear seat back was cracked all the way through and completely caved in. I have folded the seat down once or twice in the little over two weeks that I've had the car and it was not like that before it was taken for the final detail job and now magically after I requested that they vacuum the seat backs and the carpet in the trunk space the seat is trash. I mentioned it to the salesman I have been dealing with through this whole nightmare and was told "If I had noticed it on Tuesday we could have addressed it" and " I understand your frustration and am truly sorry." That's strike three. Webb Ford is still full of there old deceptive and misleading tactics just to get you out the door and out of their hair. Thanks for the frustrations and headaches, this will be the last vehicle I will ever buy from Webb and the last dollar of mine you will ever see. read more

I was told I would be contacted 3 different times and never was, which forced me to rent my own car even though my extended service contract provides me a free rental. A couple of months ago my parents and I were treated extremely rude by one of the sales consultants at Webb Ford so I wrote a bad review out of frustration. A couple of days later my parents received a call from John, the Finance Manager; apologizing for the lack of professionalism from the sale consultant and assured them that he would help my mother get the car of her choice. ***** A couple of weeks ago she went back and was helped by an awesome Sales Consultant by the name of Leslie Rightmire. She asked my mother what kind of car and features she was interested in which was a Ford Fusion. Leslie helped my mother drive off the lot with a 2016 Ford Fusion Titanium fully loaded. I went to this dealership ready to purchase a car. I had my credit line and interest rate already approved through Ford Credit, and this information is available to any Ford dealership. The salesman Bert Abdullah that we worked with was incredibly unprofessional and rude throughout the negotiating process. He used the typical lines of, "We're not making money on this price," when his price was simply the X-plan price. He would frequently interrupt my father and me while we talked through pricing. After we agreed on the price, he started asking me to fill out the credit application. I told him that I had already done this and was approved. Their dealership could access this information. He claimed to talk to his "finance guy," and they said that my credit has to be run again. This would have been an unnecessary hard hit on my report, so I offered to forward him the email with the information confirming that I was already approved. He said that he didn't know his "finance guy's" email. He refused to call Ford Credit to confirm that I was already approved. I said that I will go elsewhere (because the price wasn't a steal by any means), and he acted very unprofessionally and threw a small fit. I will go to Art Hill on Friday to purchase this car at the same price instead. read more

"i bought a lemon from this dealer" i responded to an ad posted on the internet for 2005 ford f 150 when arrived at the dealer i then looked at the truck and made my offer before starting the truck . when started the truck there was a knock noise coming from the engine i then asked the salesman what's this noise he then said "let me ask my boss" he then came back saying it's the 5.4 series and that's how it sounds i told him this a ford dealer and i am sure you have more of the "5.4 series" i want to start another truck to see if they sound the same he said sure he then came back with someone from the service department i then asked him what was the noise he then said "wear and tear" of some parts in the engine block it may go away or get worse i then told the salesman i am not going to close the deal he then told that his manger wants to talk to me so we went to the office the manger then told me there is nothing wrong with the truck and he will give me 6 month 6000 miles warranty & he provided me a car fax for the truck shows all service and told to drive it for couple month if the noise doesn't go away to bring it back and they will take care of it , i drove it for few month then took it back since the noise didn't go away the kept it for a week then called me saying i need a new engine i have a slag build up and they made the truck worse than it was i reported this problem to the attorney general and the BBB then i will take the dealer to court for my $10.000 read more

Really, really bad experience... Bought a used car that was "...in great shape. Our mechanic did a complete check up and it's flawless. Low miles. You're really getting a great deal." Two days after purchased, the check engine light the the brake light came on. Took it back to Webb, hoping it was no big deal and if it was a big deal, thinking we could work something out. I was actually planning on purchasing another car from them that day as well. To my surprise, when I told them what was going on, I asked them if they could plug it into the computer to see what the diagnostics said. To my surprise, they said they couldn't, as I was at a Ford dealership, and the used car I bought was a VW. Why was I surprised? Because how did their mechanic do a complete checkup if he wasn't able to check the diagnostics? Regardless, I tried to calmly see if we could work it out, but they stonewalled me. Refused to even investigate the problems with the car. I spent $19K two days earlier from them, now they didn't want to hear about any problems. I got angry and left. Took it to a VW dealer and, low and behold, was told that both catalytic convertors were shot, the drive shaft needed to be replaced and the brake pads needed to be replaced. Not that I wanted the Webb folks to take the car back, but I bought the car there two days earlier! Two days! Don't use them. This is why car dealers get a bad name... read more

So I went to the showroom and was met by Burt or Bert one of the new car salesman. He did the usual numbers game have to check with the boss deal " I'm not making any money off this sale" crap. Well I checked over the numbers with a lil reverse math and low and behold he was charging me over 4,000 the eprice quote. Then top it off didn't even have the Truck there. He said it would becoming from another dealership in Illinois and would take 2 days for delivery. Then had the balls to ask me for a deposit, really give you a deposit on a truck I haven't seen not even a picture of it. So with all the bs coming out of his mouth I decided to take my business elsewhere. Ended up buying the same truck brand new for 2 grand under their eprice quote. Took my car here for a Routine oil change, ended up spending near $1000 after car coincidentally broke down on the drive home ( i drove 28 miles to get there straight after work and all driving before that was perfectly fine). Got car back and had some old scratches painted at a recommended ford shop. Car broke down again a block away . Ford took it in again and blamed the other shop for leaving the door open and draining the new battery. 6 hours of Waiting for tow trucks. The second visit was "Free" probably because the battery was under a new 2 year warranty . I didn't get any sort of compensation nor did i even get a rental during that time. All and all they had my car for about 4 days. The Manager was dismissive and a bit condescending upon retrieval of my car. Not to mention the Tow truck driver who towed my car said he would never take his car to Webb after a bad experience and a customer at another shop said he would never take his car to Webb. They will never admit fault to anything. With that being said, i will never take my car to Webb ford again. read more
