We chose Weaver Insurance because they were responsive and friendly -- which continued throughout our experience. They were quick to reply, courteous, pleasant, and available when we contacted them. As a broker, they do not provide insurance themselves but sell policies from insurance carriers. When we needed to file a claim, their limits became clear. Here is our experience: When we had a claim, their recommendation was that we not file it, citing the possibility of denial and potential premium increases. This was an uninformed and incorrect recommendation. As we asked questions, it became clear they lacked the expertise to help us analyze our policy or advise us on how best to proceed. With outside help, we decided to move forward with filing the claim. At that point, Weaver Insurance introduced us to the insurance carrier -- and then disengaged. They did not assist us in preparing or submitting the claim, did not advocate on our behalf, and did not follow up with the insurer to help move the process forward. As they stated to us, evaluating claims or determining whether the settlement was appropriate "falls outside their scope of services." They fully deferred to the insurance carrier's investigation and judgment. Fortunately, we did receive a substantial settlement, thanks in part to outside help, the carriers third-party claims adjuster, and the insurance company. In our view, Weaver Insurance added no value to the process. We needed them to have the expertise to support our claim, and they did not have it. Their approach raised questions about whether their incentives are aligned with their clients' interests. We understand why Weaver Insurance has been successful -- they are friendly and responsive -- but when it mattered, they did not have the skills to support our needs. Based on our experience, I recommend a broker with expertise who will support you through the full insurance process. read more

I was recently trying to switch off my parents auto insurance policy and purchase a new policy for myself and tried this place to shop for some prices. When I told them my situation, the woman shamed me for being my age and still on my parents auto insurance plan. quote: "oh yeah you're way too old to be on your parents insurance". in this day and age? its not weird. needless to say, I told them I needed to gather more information and never called them back. I felt shamed for even asking for help and I feel like they're out of touch with today's economic landscape if they react that way. read more

Thanks to Steve I did not have a lapse in coverage. Thank you Steve! read more

Very poor responsiveness. Tried to make me take my own home pictures for a policy. They kept waffling on answers. I would not recommend home or car insurance from this place. I own a few other homes and had no problems with those insurances. My new policy with the different insurance was easy to deal with and WAY more affordable read more

Steve and team are truly the best. When we bought our house in 2021, Steve was patient and thoughtful when we were searching for policies that best fit our needs. Over the last few years, Insurers have become increasingly more hesitant to provide homeowners policies in CA and are always looking for ways to increase premiums or kick people. Steve has always found us the best rates and coverage and provided insight every year during our renewal period. The team is ALWAYS responsive and never makes us feel like we are on the back burner. Would highly recommend reaching out to Weaver & Associates to get quotes for any insurance needs! read more

I was referred to weaver by my realtor when we were looking at home insurance. He specifically referred us to Steve. Steve was a complete professional from start to finish and answered all my questions. The process was very seamless and made our home buying process easier, one less added stressor. Even with bumps on the way, such as insurance companies not offering auto to help us bundle, Steve found a way to get us a solid deal. He even reached out a year later to see if he could find us a better rate/bundle. Would definitely recommend homebuyers to go through Steve! read more

Our Insurance Agent retired and our policies were given to another Agent that we don't know or have any experience with and they are not close to our area. We are looking for a new Insurance Agent and read the great reviews for Weaver & Associates. Over the last few weeks, we have contacted them a few times to make an appointment with an Agent. We were told twice that we would be contacted by Sheri but, as of today, have not had any other follow up from Sheri or the Agency.
