I made an appointment to meet with the owner, Nick, to get information about joining the 6 week challenge. He did a great job of selling me on the challenge and telling me everything I wanted to hear to sign up. I would be lying if I said I wasnt excited to join, SO excited! Nick told me you couldn't get results without 3 things- accountability, nutrition, and fitness. All of which his program would provide! That someone would call me to see how I'm doing, weekly. There would be weigh ins. For a week I'd eat the same diet I'd normally eat and log it, then in a week we'd discuss it to make improvements for a healthier diet. The program was suppose to be challenging and I would need rest days so you could only attend classes 3 days a week, 45 minutes a class. The trainers would keep challenging and motivating participants to push themselves. I could keep going on with the promises he made... but fast forward to 6 weeks later and I can't express enough how DISAPPOINTED I am. In every aspect. The ONLY thing his program or facility provided was access to his equipment. The trainers for my 6am class were new, and very nice, but a lot of the time we did the same stuff.. they did not motivate us. A few classes ended super early. I did get a message from an employee asking why I wasn't checking in and I mentioned to her that classes were ending early and it never happened again! And I wasn't checking in because at 6am the computer was never on. Another thing that was frustrating was that multiple people in my "challenge" were paying different prices. One woman paid $50 because of a supposed promotion, while others paid membership prices, and a few of us paid $500. I asked why the different prices and was told everyone starts the gym at a higher price. I feel if everyone is in the challenge then we all pay the same amount, everyone comes the same days and times, etc etc. If I'm being offered a challenge for $500 and someone has a membership and attends the same class for $250 a month it's not fair. We're getting the same thing except I just paid $500. I got no special perks over anyone else because I was in the challenge and paid $500. I reached out at the 5 week mark to Nick, mostly because many people had the same complaints, to express my disappointment and all I got was "thank you for your feedback" and that he knows they need to work on things. Which is great and I totally understand that every business has struggles to overcome..but he never even offered an apology!!! I only paid $500 because of the benefits promised when I signed a contract. I offered my feedback to Nick so the next person wasn't promised the same things and then them be disappointed. I wasn't expecting my money back, but I sure as hell expected "I'm sorry, how can I make this right." I own a business, if a customer came to me upset I would offer an apology and do something to make it right, even if that means my business takes a loss. The point of having customers is to keep them happy so they keep coming back and spending their money at your business!!! There is no "family" feel or feeling like you're being taken care of. Nick told me he hopes I come back in the future, which literally made me laugh because why would someone spend more money at your facility when you don't deliver what you've expressed to deliver and then don't take accountability for your mess ups, then you never try making it right!!!!! I strongly recommend looking elsewhere to workout! I never even finished my last week because how disgusted I was with how Nick responded. It's a shame that an owner cares so little for his customers and their happiness for HIS business! Word of mouth goes a very long way and I'll be sure to pass the word along to our community about how he does business read more
