    UPDATE: 4/1/26- BE CAREFUL HERE GUYS…read more After posting my original review, I was contacted by management and asked to follow up directly. I did, and I'm sharing the outcome for transparency. My unit was located on the third floor, and I was informed that there are no cameras on the third and fourth floors( Go figure!), only on the first and second floors and at entry points. This was not something I was aware of when choosing this facility. I was also told that they are not required to disclose this. I purchased a disc lock from the facility based on the expectation that it would provide adequate security. After the incident, we researched the lock and very easily found information that the locks were easily pickable , which raised concerns for us. We also had concerns about aspects of the unit area (specifically the upper gate structure). From our observation, there were some protective barriers ar the top but there appeared to be openings/gaps. These openings raised concerns about whether the area could potentially be accessed from above. During the conversation, the representative emphasized that this is a secure and well-managed facility. However, this did not fully align with my experience. There were MULTIPLE instances where I had difficulty accessing my unit, even one instance where I was locked in the facility and unable to exit and had to call for assistance. There were also times I could not access my unit at all. Each time these issues occurred, I contacted the facility to report them. Based on those interactions, my understanding is that the facility had been made aware of these access concerns, and they were not fully resolved. I shared these concerns again during our conversation. I was told that if they had been aware of these issues earlier, they would have addressed them, and that my feedback would be passed along to leadership. I was also told that my suggestion regarding adding cameras to additional floors would be shared. Ultimately, I was told there was no evidence available regarding what occurred and that the facility is not liable for the loss. As a result, I am left dealing with over $15,000 in missing items with no resolution. I'm sharing my experience so others can make fully informed decisions and carefully evaluate the level of security and accessibility that meets their needs before storing valuable belongings here.

    I signed up for ProSafe storage in Parma today. Lady that signed me up said I can access my storage…read moreunit until ten pm- online it even says gate access until ten pm. It is 8 pm and gate will not open keeps saying access denied area closed..... I also tried the door with my code and says the same thing, access denied area closed. 8 pm isn't ten pm... not happy at all. I've called a few times and have left voice messages and can't get ahold of anyone!

See above. I was impressed with the cleanliness, quality and the security of this facility. Steve's straightforward service included showing me a 10' x 10' unit and made sure that I was clear on how I access the property & my unit. There is a secure access restroom that is open 6 AM till 11PM. No, I am not Steve's brother-in-law.

Many places are a bit run down or operated by large corporate chains. My experience with the bigger chains is frequent and unpredictable rate increases. Then someone recommended Smart Storage which had just opened about a month ago. AMAZING! The place is brand new, really well designed, and I appreciate that access is NOT 24/7. Currently access is 6AM -11PM. I never loved the idea of people rooting around at all hours of the night. The units are immaculate and it appears that all of the infrastructure, cameras, and access doors are the latest tech. The best part of the entire experience is the owner Steve. This is a family owned and operated business. What a difference from dealing with an anonymous corporation. Steve helped me figure out the right storage solution for my needs and made the entire experience a joy. I look forward to coming here. For the record I am not being compensated in any way for this review. After 30 years of renting various units I will say this is the best I have come across. Check it out for yourself!

    A Complete Disaster…read more If you value your belongings and expect even a shred of customer service, RUN--don't walk--away from CubeSmart. Our experience at the Warrensville Heights, OH location has been nothing short of a nightmare. My husband and I rented a 10x25 outdoor unit at this location in September 2024, and in February we discovered our worst fears: water, ice, and slush covering the floor of our unit and ruining our belongings. Cardboard boxes soaked through. Art and personal items warped and destroyed. A leaking roof and faulty door allowed snow and rain to pour in, and it had clearly been happening for some time. When I called the office, no one answered--even though it was during business hours. I left a message and eventually found an employee outside. Instead of offering help, this employee had the audacity to shrug and say, "You don't have our insurance, so I can't help you." Are you kidding me? Forget basic human decency--CubeSmart won't even take responsibility for their own faulty unit! We reached out to management, only to be met with cold indifference and zero accountability. The manager outright refused to speak with me because my name isn't on the contract, even though we both share and pay for the unit. What kind of ridiculous policy is that? To make matters worse, the official line we've been fed is that CubeSmart is not responsible for damage caused by leaks and poor maintenance unless we have their insurance. This is a clear and intentional evasion of responsibility. We do have insurance, but that's beside the point. This isn't about insurance; it's about a complete failure on CubeSmart's part to provide a secure storage space, which is literally the only service they are supposed to offer. Instead, we were ignored, dismissed, and left to deal with the destruction of our belongings on our own. CubeSmart's Warrensville Heights location is a textbook example of how NOT to run a business. Zero accountability, incompetent staff, and a manager who refuses to engage with customers or take responsibility for the state of her facility. If you want to store your belongings in a leaking, poorly maintained box with absolutely no help when things go wrong, then by all means, rent here. But if you care about your property and expect basic customer service, find literally any other storage company. We'll never use CubeSmart again, and we'll be warning everyone we know to avoid them like the plague.

Maintenance lacking throughout my use of this location…read more Entrances don't work, all customers are locked out of bathrooms , carts are impossible to find, entire outside is a junkyard. When I checked out the manager didn't even know what to document he should provide! And to top it off I felt this place was wildly expensive and definitely not worth a fraction of what it cost.
