Three of my coworkers and I stopped at this place for smoothies. I'm the only one who enjoyed my drink. I got the booster juice and it was exactly what I wanted it to be. The guy at the front desk was nice / a little weird. The person who got the green goddess said the only thing he could taste was the kale, it was lacking in everything else. I had to wait 10 minutes for something at the other side of the mall and walked thru like... Isn't there a juice spot in here? Walked all the way thru and nothing and then BOOM! Would you believe I found the cutest little juice spot right in my own neighborhood twinkle in my eye there is how WONDERFUL!! On Sunday it was hot and I busy running errands and it was such a sweet cool reprieve to stop in and it be clean with an abundance of ingredients AND aesthetically pleasing to the eye. I ordered ABC Apple Carrot Beet. Can't go wrong there and the beets decided to be SWEEEEET! My teens had a piña colada and something else I can't remember. I also ordered a wheatgrass shot that I actually forgot in all the excitement of getting my thirst quenched. I thought I had been to a location in Brooklyn like this and asked if it was a chain but they said nope no they didn't have a store in Brooklyn. I did find that they do have other stores in other locations looking online; but I do not know if they are affiliated. I'm very big on supporting local businesses, I have been to this location several times however I will Not return There is a Gentleman who works there and makes the smoothies in the front. He doesn't wash out the blender when making new smoothies or juices. I brought it to his attention this morning 6/12/24 at 11am I was very nice about it and brought it to his attention as he made my smoothie. He had left over smoothie from a previous drink He made and continued to put my ingredients to mix with it instead of cleaning out the blender. The same gentleman did this last week when I ordered Juice . I'm completely done at this point , people may have allergies but clearly that's not taken into consideration. Also, who knows how long that old smoothie or juice has been sitting there while he mixes our new ones with it ..... I thought I did the right thing by calling him out on it face to face. I also called to speak with a manager and the same gentleman answered the phone . When expressing my concern again, he was very rude. He also asked me if I have proof while he disregarded everything I talked about. I hung up the phone on him , he called my phone again 20mins later with a complete different attitude. Decided to give this place a a try since it's in the neighborhood. When I walked in there was a customer being served, after a few minutes with no greeting or friendly smile the lady behind the counter asked me if I was ready to order. I ordered a small peanut butter & Jay smoothie. After about 5 to 10 minutes when the smoothie was ready, I went to pay with a $50 and the lady sneered at me "we don't take $50, plus I don't have change for $50." I looked around and saw no sign stating so, I told her let me go get chance. I came back a few minutes later and she was on the phone with a customer and there was a customer in person ordering. I waited a few minutes and then left because the wait was so long. I always love and welcome black businesses in the neighborhood, but customer service must be prompt and friendly. read more

Let's keep it simple and real. The smoothie was amazing, service = ehh not so much. I'm really big on customer service and unfortunately, the service wasn't great. It was just "okay". I'm not sure if the woman making the shakes was overwhelmed and probably tired but our first encounter with her she stated "let me know when y'all are ready to order because I have other shakes to make" in a stand-offish tone. Again, I won't knock her for being transparent and perhaps us not knowing what was on the menu, killing time was time she could have invested into other peoples orders. However, you don't need to convey all that to the customer. A simple "let me know when you're ready to order" is appropriate. Nonetheless, the smoothie came out good. Unfortunately I can't remember the name of the smoothie but it had strawberry, pineapple and mango in it. If you're in the area, support a black-owned business and give it a shot. Tried this place for the first time after seeing great reviews in the Blaque Resource Network on Facebook. Someone posted a vegan chopped cheese and that sounded like a win so I made my way over there. The place itself is small so you have to wait outside if there are more than 2 people in the spot. They didn't have any printed menus and I didn't know what jucie I wanted so I stood and looked at the overhead menu. Looking back, I could have just looked online. I ended up ordering a Di Coola smoothie and the aloha juice. I loved my juice and it was blended well. My mom, on the other hand, was not a big fan of the smoothie. She said it didn't taste as sweet as it should have for the ingredients listed. The highlight of my meal was that chipped cheese though. It was soooooooooooo good. They have a sign that says it has been selling out everyday since they started selling it and I can totally see why. They need to add it to the permanent menu. Overall it was a great experience and I hope to support in the future. They still need to work on front of the house logistics as it took some time for me to actually place my order. They were gracious though and gave me a sample of another smoothie to make up for the wait. read more

The bun was so soft the meat is so tender and well seasoned. The chopped cheese is filling but doesn't give you that sluggish feeling like a beef chop cheese. I've come here a handful of times and I was so happy when they came to Rochdale but after today experience, I don't think I'll be back. I came in order a guava lodda which has strawberries, bananas, guava nectar and honey. After getting the drink, it tasted very watered down like the guava was overpowering the drink and there was no honey at all. So I went back and said " im sorry but this taste very watered down and like it has no honey" the cashier told me "well I can't make a new one cause you don't like it" and I said it just doesn't taste well like it's too much of one fruit and isn't it suppose to have honey so it could be somewhat sweet. Another worker tells me that it isn't suppose to have honey and what he was told it's suppose to have agave which is misleading and unfair to the customer and I said ok well that's kinda messed up and what can we do. He tells me that he can re mix it but then takes the honey and pours it straight into the smoothie and I was kinda lost for words. So I said you see what I mean like it says honey and it's not honey like it's not my fault and he just looks at me. After the honey pour, he hands me the straw and says you can mix it. Reading the other reviews makes me thank God I was welcomed with a smile from a young lady at the front. I was having a bad day and needed a pick me up. I saw this spot and immediately got excited for healthier food options. I ordered the "too coolie" smoothie hoping it was as refreshing as it sound because it was 88 degrees outside. I definitely will order the "too coolie" smoothie again. It's natural flavors combined are enough for me. I also ordered the jerk chicken mango wrap. It was good but I do think they should warn you about the spice level before purchasing. It was so spicy I couldn't really finish it because I'm pregnant and I can't eat spicy foods. Some would say It could be my fault for assuming it would be a mild jerk seasoning also lol Whatever! I'm a fan! Great place, great vibe, great food, I would definitely come back. Food is good, however this is the second time I've called for pickup during my busy lunch break, was quoted a time, showed up on time & was asked to wait another 15 minutes. This time, the excuse was there was a big order ahead of mine (which I'm sure was known before the originally quoted time). I'd like to make a suggestion that if something comes up, you should give your customers a call so they can plan around the inconvenience. I left to my car & was then called back & told the order was ready and when I walked into the establishment the order still wasn't ready. I asked the lady at the front why she called me if it wasn't ready and she proceeded to scream & yell. I told her I'm a paying customer & she replied by telling me that I could leave & I really should've had I not wasted 30 minutes of my time at this point. I asked for the owners contact & was not given it either. There was a young man in the back that was very polite & apologetic when he brought out my food. I hope the customer service in the front gets better though, I really do. But as of now I won't be back ever. read more
