REPIPE SPECIALISTS was hired to re-pipe the the plumbing and natural gas lines in a development where we own several properties. in early June, the guys working on our building managed to cross the lines and turned everybody's sinks into flame throwers. to be kind, the damage was significant and will run in the millions of dollars. a neighbor captured his crisis response on his Ring camera. because he neglected to bring any of the safety equipment required by the city of Encinitas to do the work, he tried to put out a gas fire with water from the bottle in his truck. details are sketchy since nobody wants to take responsibility and the city Encinitas still hasn't filed the fire report even though it's been nearly four months. yeah, kind of a mess. occupants of sixteen units (including four that were undamaged) were displaced after the Fire Department declared the entire building unfit for human habitation. renters and owners all had to find new places to live after their stuff was scorched and then water damaged. owners are either out rental income or are now renting somewhere else and still have to pay mortgages, homeowner's insurance, HOA fees, and property taxes. current estimates are a minimum of twelve months before the places are habitable. zero permits for the rebuild have been issued with no indication if and when that might happen. nice, right? the response from REPIPE SPECIALISTS? crickets. ps: expect this to be the next addition to my "Experiences with the Legal System" list ...

The earliest appointment I could get was a week away. I was stressed because we live in Spring Valley and we have two large dogs that take refuge from the heat in the house during the day. We called Crawl Space and Attic Pro from a Google search (scary). They were able to come out the next day to diagnose our AC. They gave me a quote over the phone and arrived on time. The amount of the quote was taken off the work we had done. Our Technician Leo was very professional and explained everything he was doing and why it needed to be done. He was supposed to be experienced but I found him reading the directions for the wrong fans. Their mark up on the fans was over 300% and the guarantee of after service was exposed as a lie when Leo simply yelled that he wasn't there and couldn't help and I didn't need the app anyway. The humidity hardly decreased, the mold continues to worsen and no one returns calls. To sum up, after $18,500 I still have mold. Definitely advise you to find another company.

Last year we had them take out our old leaky water heater and install a new tankless and that was also smooth and easy. They responded quickly, the technician gave us several choices and explained each one. We opted to upgrade to a new tankless water heater and that was a great choice. With 4 people who take long showers, its awesome to never run out of hot water. This time we had an issue with our AC and decided to give them a shot. The AC is about 10 years old so on the cusp of where we need to decide if its worth it to keep repairing it or if its time to replace it. They sent someone out the same day and we were very relieved that he didn't immediately push us to get a new system like 2 other companies did. He reviewed our options and the pros and cons of repair vs replace. It would be great to replace it but we aren't quite ready. The tech wasn't pushy at all and that was refreshing. We decided to repair it and wait until it's no longer worth repairing and he got us back up and running the same day. The price seemed pretty reasonable to get another 1 or 2 years of use. Overall we've now had multiple positive experiences and will continue to call them in the future.

Aaron thoroughly diagnosed the issue, explained to us that the filtered needed to be replaced in order to allow enough airflow entering the furnace. Our furnace had a heat detector that would automatically turn off when the furnace overheated. Luckily we had an extra filter and he replaced it for us while he was at our house and provided us recommendations on how we can properly maintain our furnace. I was extremely impressed with Aaron's expertise and honesty. Our family been thinking for years on installing an air conditioner in our home.
