What once was a quiet little retirement town in the desert has slowly become the mini Las Vegas…read more Many Utahns who want to gamble or buy legal marijuana come here since it's closer than making the longer drive to Vegas. And depending on what you want, it's a decent substitute. There's a handful of casinos and hotels-not on par with the luxury ones in Sin City, but respectable, for the most part. If you're into golfing, you can do that just about year-round here, since it stays warm through the winter. You may want to avoid the hottest months of the year-golfing in August can be brutal. Mesquite has a small town feel to it-talk to the locals and you'll find yourself quickly amongst the gossip of who's who and who's doing what. I get the feeling that those who have lived here a long time would prefer that things stop growing-just like most small town lifers. But by the looks of things, I don't see it slowing down any time soon.

However, when we drove by there was nobody playing....go figure 108 degrees and windy. Mesquite offers lots of restaurants, couple casinos and some good hiking in cooler months. The town has great personality and I plan on coming back for more visits!

If you are considering a new salt water aquarium, AVOID Jacob @ Top Notch Tanks at all costs! I…read moreinvested $14,000 in a large tank & cabinet, and it has been the biggest nightmare of my life! Before I paid him for this project, he would answer his phone on the first ring. After all of the numerous nightmares during this install, he refuses to answer any of my calls or texts. He has left me hanging big time, and owes me several pieces of important equipment, as well as a refund on $2,258 worth of fish that I paid for, yet only received about half, not to mention that the few I did receive were about triple in price of what other stores charge! Plus, I am new at this hobby, and obviously have lots of questions about my new tank, yet Jacob refuses to take a minute of his time answer them. He moves on to new victims and forgets about his previous customers. After visiting several of the local fish stores, I heard many horror stories about Jacob and the way he runs his business. I wish I had done more research before I spent $14,000 with this guy! I have lost a lot of sleep over this ordeal. I am leaving this negative review, my first ever, so that others may save themselves from going through what I have gone through. Please save yourself a lot of trouble & heartache, and buy your salt water aquarium from another company!

I booked with them, expressed my concerns for grooming & caring for Halo's back. I'd never felt so assured & I was nervous wreck because this bath & cut was going to be A LOT OF WORK. Turned out Halo didn't make it easy for them either but she came out glowing & absolutely loved her experience with Lindsey & Christina. We cannot keep our hands off of her (well it was hard before but it's extra hard now) she's SOOOOO INCREDIBLY SOFT! We will be telling everyone about Mom n Pup, her new "do" speaks for itself and has gotten so many compliments from all her dog park admirers who saw her before & strangers seeing her for the first time. Hearing "this is the softest dog I've ever touched before" is rad to hear. Really looking forward to my sweet girls grooming journey with the sweet girls at Mom n Pup.

I went and picked her up, payed $100 for the adoption which included her spay, vaccines and they kindly supplied me with food for a few weeks. The gentleman with with black hair and glasses, he's wonderful. Im so upset I can't remember his name but he is very kind and knowledgeable on all the kittens inside. Lulu is very nice as well. I've seen multiple comments where people are bashing her attitude and saying things that just aren't true. I have met with and dealt with lulu on multiple occasions now and although she is very to the point and direct, she is far from rude. Her job is to adopt out helpless animals to good homes. If you get denied it isn't her fault. Dont try to adopt a puppy for your 90 year old grandma... it's just not a good fit you know? And if you just became an adult yesterday... yeah I wouldn't trust you with $5 bill let alone something with a heartbeat. Lulu is very considerate and loves the animals inside. She is direct and is a no nonsense type of person. If that isn't something you can respect, especially in this industry, then adopting anything EVER isnt really in your cards. My kitten was struggling and when I called up PAWS just to ask a simple question, Lulu helped me in making sure my kitten was taken care of, and for the coming weeks. This was absolutely without a doubt the best adoption experience I have ever had. Ill recommend this time and time again. GREAT people. GREAT atmosphere.
