I dropped off the hard drive and was told that I would get a call in a few days with a diagnosis. There are signs everywhere that there is a diagnostic fee of $59. If you get the work done, the diagnostic fee is applied to the price of the work. After a week of waiting I called to get a status. I called on a Saturday and was told to call Monday to speak to the tech. I called backkn Monday and was told the drive was too damaged for any data to be extracted. I paid the $59 fee. See snapshot from my bank statement. I threw away the receipt. I then continued looking and found a place to ship it to, free of charge. They received it and immediately contacted me back that they are able to recover data, maybe not all but guaranteed recovery. That is in the works as I write this review. This is why I didn't write the review sooner because now I know for a fact that they gave me wrong information. I would be totally fine and cool with paying a disgnostic fee to get a diagnosis. This place didn't give me that. For all I know they may not have done anything. They said the drive qould not work with any of their software. I qould be totally okay with them being honest and telling me this is what is wrong, you need these parts and it will cost this much and we do not do it. It is obvious they do not have the expertise or equiment to do data recovery unless it is simple but if that was the case I could have done it. In any event, I do not feel that this business is ethical when they charge you to tell you something can't be salvaged when I now know it can be. I am upset and sharing this so it doesn't happen to you.

Just dropped in to have a look around this small run company who builds custom computers and…read morerepairs phones tablets and computers. Manager on duty was very kind and helpful, and they had a small supply of in stock available equipment ready for purchase for business users. They do carry a number of niche business computer pieces, as well as some gaming hardware pieces - such as nvidia series GT1070 card. I would definitely feel more comfortable bringing them my hardware for computers repairs than someone like think geek or the geek squad.

Received another call today from their call center. It seems like the person I spoke to had NO…read moreIDEA what my business did, just knew the name of it. He could have spent a few minutes at least looking at my website either before he called or during our call. Believe me, I understand cold-calling, but this one was just outright strange. He had all of these ideas for my website and business, lots of changes he wanted to make. I tried to get him to answer specific questions about my business, such as what content he needed to rewrite or what service descriptions he thought needed to be changed, he said, "All of them, everything." Obviously, he had no idea that he was talking to one of the countries top marketers but I just let him go on. He explained more of what they did from his script, but nothing he said showed that he knew either my name or what I did. He did not research my company before calling and most likely just did a cold call, probably using some type of auto dialer, I'm sure he sells digital marketing and SEO, but I doubt he knew half of what he was taking about. In over 10 years of doing this, I've yet to meet someone who is good at digital marketing and seo who cold calls people, most of the people I meet are laid back, they simply shoot out emails to promote their services, they don't cold call. As someone who manages many websites, I know all about cost per click, content writing, search optimization, meta descriptions etc and know when someone is trying to mislead me into thinking I'm not "ranking well for my keywords", and he didn't even know what my keywords were. If you are going to call a business, do some research first, find out the business owner's name, know what services they offer and try to not sound so robotic. Another suggest that you don't have 30 or so people in a room trying to talk louder than the other person, it's very distracting. I tried to explain to the person that it's strange you are trying to sell digital marketing to a digital marketer, but he tried to just say that he does other things, things of course I do, but I could tell he was inexperienced because of the sudden and infrequent pauses he made to try and go off script. In conclusion, please just stop your cold calling and instead, focus on getting your own website ranking for keywords, it's hard to believe a company is going to try and offer SEO when they can't get their own site to show up for anything relevant. Thanks.
