I've been a loyal customer of Morris Park Dental for years. I've spent a significant amount of…read moremoney there, from routine check-ups to cosmetic procedures. I've been an advocate for the office in the Morris Park area, referring clients to them. However, I've been shocked by the drastic changes that have taken place over the years. Back then, the staff was incredibly friendly and supportive. They would work with you and follow up with you regularly. But now, things are different. I've faced financial hardship and can't afford certain procedures right now. However, they've implemented a new fee policy that charges $50 per cancellation if you don't show up or call within 24 to 48 hours. I've accrued three cancellations, not because I didn't show up, but because I called to cancel short-noticed due to a family emergency. I explained my hardship and the financial struggles my family is facing, especially my daughter who has autism. But no one ever got back to me regarding the fees. The balance is still on my account. To make matters worse, I recently had an Invisalign treatment that turned out to be a complete waste of money. My impression wasn't done correctly, and I don't believe this procedure should have been done on me in the first place. I initially asked for metal braces, but that was a mistake. I've also had several root canals, including a bridge, post, and crowns. And guess what? They're telling me I need another root canal in the same tooth that already had one done. It's ridiculous! They don't seem to care about my well-being or my smile. The office is always packed with people, and the staff is constantly changing. It's hard to build a relationship with anyone there. They're all just focused on making money, not on helping patients. Let's fast forward to July 22, 2025. My bridge came out and needed to be cemented back in place. Instead of doing a permanent cement, they informed me that I needed a whole new bridge and temporarily cemented it down. I went to the front desk and was told that I needed to pay $5,600 for this new procedure. Unfortunately, I cannot afford the required procedure at this time. They also mentioned that there was still a $150 charge on my account for not canceling my appointment within 24 to 48 hours. Now, here's where things get intentional and unprofessional. On July 23, 2025, I called to make an appointment to have my bridge permanently cemented down, as I mentioned earlier, because I couldn't afford the requested procedure at the moment. I spoke with someone in the morning and inquired about the cost. They advised me to call at 12 p.m. to speak with the billing manager. I called, but I received no answer several times. I asked my sister to call on her phone to see if they would pick up, and they did. I received a bill in the mail for a forwarding balance that I don't understand, along with other charges. On August 6, 2025, I called the office manager again to speak with them. I was told that I had to call back at 12 p.m. I tried calling at 1 p.m., 2 p.m., and 3 p.m., but I kept getting no answer. I just finished calling at 3:47 p.m. when someone picked up and told me that the office manager was not in. This is not how you treat a patient. I have never been disrespectful or rude to anyone in this establishment. I have been a loyal customer for the past 10 years, trusting their treatment plans and believing that they were doing the right things by me. However, instead, I have been left without help or a solution due to me not having the money at this time and I am being dismissed by the staff and doctors intentionally.

I gave this location 4 stars last time i came mostly complaining about the look of the place. I…read morecame in today and they def changed that. They painted and had better security at the door. The bathroom tiles got fixed and they fixed and painted walls. Staff here is nice esp the xray guy and hygienist that cleaned my teeth today. My issue and the reason i lowered from 4 to 3 stars is lack of communication and the time i spent here today for just X-rays, cleaning and evaluation. I arrived at 1:35pm for my 1:30pm appt to an empty waiting room. I got X-rays done and cleaning by 2:45pm. After that people started coming in and i was waiting. The hygienist told me my usual doctor wasn't there and she would put me with another if that was ok and i agreed. I got up three times from 2:45-4:05pm to ask what was the wait for? First it was that the dentist was running behind and they couldn't say how many were in front of me. Then they said the doctor must have my paper because it wasn't there and people were getting called that just came in. Then i finally told the front seat girl "listen I've been here over 2.5 hours and I'm starting to get frustrated when it was only a cleaning." She realized my paper got lost and put me with the dentist. My teeth are fine besides food getting stuck into my crowns sometimes and they put in for a replacement on a crown I'm still paying on from the fall which was denied so I'm going to deal with the food occasionally getting stuck until my next cleaning in November. I finally walked out of there at 4:25pm. Almost 3 hours later just for a cleaning and evaluation. The staff is nice but please do better. Thankfully i arranged for someone to pick my son up from school ahead of time but this wait time for a cleaning was insane

Upon arrival, the front desk staff member was unapproachable and displayed an unpleasant and sarcastic attitude when I asked whether she needed my ID or my son's. After being given paperwork to complete, I was called up by the same staff member and informed that the office does not accept my insurance. When I asked why this information was not communicated at the time of scheduling, she responded dismissively and suggested that I may have provided incorrect insurance details. This experience was disappointing. Clear communication and a welcoming, professional demeanor are essential in healthcare settings, and unfortunately, this office did not meet those expectations. I would not recommend this practice based on my experience.

Overall, it is 3,5stars for me. I had an annual cleaning…read moreappointment here on a Friday. Oh my gosh, what a frustrating day for me. I went there and they couldn't see my appointment in the system, which is bizarre as I had a confirmation text from them. Anyway the front desk lady with blonde hair was sweet and she said she will accommodate me. I waited exactly 1h to get in for Xrays. It was quick, then saw the hygienist for cleaning. I found the tone and attitude of this person harsh and condescending. She could be right about the things she offered like I should do flossing more, coming back again soon and warning me about possible repercussions about plaque formation but still I don't like being scolded like a 5year old about my own teeth. Then I was told that doctor was busy and I cannot see him that day so had to reschedule an appointment to Nov? To discuss my cleaning?? I found this unacceptable and asked for a closer appointment, they gave me in two days and today I have seen Dr. Igor. The office was a complete contrast to my first appointment today. It was empty and I was seen by doctor on exact time. He was nice and explained me that I have mo major problems with my teeth. Which was nice because I was really alarmed after the talk with hygienist... Oh I also found out today that my name was completely wrong in their system, and another front desk lady had to correct it. So, I have mixed feeling about this place. They are not so good with planning and juggling traffic of patients but their service is high quality, clean and thorough. So if you go there on a weekday, be prepared to wait over one hour. You will become frustrated!! At a weekend, it could be a breeze like it happened to me. So try for a weekend maybe. Also Make sure you double check the appointment time, confirm your name twice.

Worst dental office ever!!! Took my daughter here, came a half an hour earlier than the appointment…read morebecause she was a new patient and I knew forms needed to be completed as well as insurance verified. Their sign says to "sign in and have a seat and they'll call you if additional information is needed". At first I waited for the woman to pick up the chart as she would have saw that I checked off the box for new patient. She didn't acknowledge me standing there, didn't ask what I was waiting for, nothing!! To "respect" their sign, I sat down. The woman picked up the sign in sheet 26 minutes later, 4 minutes before my daughter's appointment time, this is when I was handed new patient forms and was told that she'd call the insurance to verify coverage. After ANOTHER 30 minutes passed, I asked the woman about how long it would be before my daughter was called as I had to go back to work. I reminded her of the appointment time my daughter had versus the time it was, she said 1 person was before her and she didn't know how long AND "there was nothing she could do". My daughter didn't get seen until a whole hour AFTER her appointment time. What's the point of having an appointment if you're not going to see patients at their scheduled times? A doctor knows approximately how long a procedure should take and thus should know how many slots and slot times they allow for a certain amount of people or type of visit. They need to work on scheduling and hospitality. I could see if we were late but we were more than on time. Most offices tell you to come in 15 minutes before the scheduled time - we were there 30 minutes prior.
