Really amazing food and customer service! Accommodating to an Uber eats mistake will definitely be coming back.

Plenty of photo ops and loved the wall pods for dining and even private booths for those romantic nights. Our waitress Kayla was amazing and very nice and she explained the menu in detailed when needed. Service was fast and on point. The menu offers a variety of ramen combinations to please your palettes. Nice drink menu as well that's refreshing with teas and smoothies. The wings we had were flavorful. Love the concept of the rice cake burgers but it was a mess to eat so be ready should you wish to try! Broth favors are amazing but be ready for sodium overload like any ramen bowl anywhere lol. We also had the cherry blossom jello for dessert and it was a hit and even took some to go.

The service was attentive, and the restaurant itself is beautifully decorated with an authentic feel and a very inviting atmosphere. I ordered the curry ramen, spring rolls, crispy sweet chili wings, chicken fried rice, and a Nigori flight. The spring rolls were honestly the best part of the meal, crispy, flavorful, and fresh. I also really enjoyed the Nigori flight. The ramen, however, was a bit bland and did not have the rich flavors I usually expect. The wings were a little too sweet and not as crispy as I hoped, and the chicken in the fried rice had a slightly burnt taste, although the rice itself was good. They do have an extensive menu, so I would possibly come back and try something different another time, but this visit just wasn't the best fit for me food-wise.

My husband and I stopped into Ramen Takagi on a Saturday around 12:20pm, and we must have timed it…read moreperfectly--there was only one table left when we arrived. The restaurant is on the smaller side (about 6-7 tables) with additional bar seating, which adds to the cozy, authentic feel. The Vibe: Small, intimate, and focused--this is the kind of place where you know the food is the star. One small note: I didn't see any beer options--just soft drinks and teas. Not a dealbreaker, but I do usually enjoy a beer with ramen, so it was a bit of a miss for me. What We Ordered: * Cucumber Salad * Chicken Karaage * Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen * Spicy Miso Ramen Standout Bites: The cucumber salad was incredibly fresh with the perfect balance of sweet, spicy, and salty. The chicken karaage was exactly what you want--crispy on the outside, moist and tender on the inside. Perfect crunch, perfect bite. Then came the ramen... Both the spicy tonkotsu and spicy miso broths were rich, flavorful, and deeply satisfying. The noodles had that ideal chewy texture, and the pork was thinly sliced, tender, and full of flavor. Rich broth, chewy noodles, melt-in-your-mouth pork. Overall: This is hands down the best ramen I've had since visiting Japan, which says a lot. We left already planning our next visit. Pro tip: Arrive early for lunch--seating is limited and fills up quickly.

My favorites are the shoyu ramen, the kids ramen (honestly the perfect portion), and the tuna mayo onigiri. My go-to order is usually the kids ramen with a tuna mayo onigiri, and it's always so satisfying. The pork chashu is super soft and tender, the broth has so much flavor, and the noodles are always cooked just right. And definitely don't skip the egg--it's so good. The ambiance is really peaceful, and the space itself is cute and cozy. The staff is always very friendly and eager to please, which makes the whole experience even better. It is one of my go to spots, I seriously cannot recommend enough.

As for the food, I wanted to like it more than I did. I think getting the pho or ramen is the way to go here, and I instead tried the sushi. The presentation of it was so nice and immaculate, but the rolls I got just really lacked in flavor. They were kind of "blah". The ramen is decent, and again I think that's what to try if you go here. Also the workers were so lovely that I really wish our experience with the food had been better. But if you're an anime fan you should probably add this to your list to check out.

While we waited for our food, we checked out their impressive display of anime merch and decorations. Our food was ready in no time, and we were able to get drinks from the self-serve soda fountain. I ordered the Sweet Teriyaki Stir-Fry with tofu, which had great flavor and was a great portion. Sometimes places barely give any protein, but this bowl had a great amount of tofu. My brother ordered the Flame Hashira Korean Bowl with chicken, which was advertised as being very spicy. It was definitely very spicy, but he enjoyed it a lot. The staff cleans off your table when you finish, and even though we did not interact with them much because of the ordering kiosk, they were very nice and were working hard behind the counter. I would love to come back and try their soup bowls and sushi rolls.
