I came for a Brazilian and eyebrow wax in which both were the most pain free experiences I have ever had. When you walk in the front is extremely clean & your greeted by a friendly professional receptionist. She conversated with me while I was filling out paperwork. Then thoroughly explained how to apply the numbing cream and answered all of my questions. The cream takes 30minutes to sit on your skin & they have a lovely seating area with water, snacks, and magazines which was a nice touch while waiting for the numbing cream to kick in. The waxologist introduced herself & took me in the room which again was very clean, tidy, and looked sanitary. She explained what to do and there was a lovely feminine wipe on the table for me to "clean up" with which I thought was really thoughtful & honestly genius idea! She explained the process & walked me through it step by step. She even gave me a heads up where some areas would be a but more sensitive. All in all it wasnt nearly as painful as I had previously encountered with other waxing facilities. They use hard wax which she explained is much less painful than soft. Maybe it was the numbing cream, the waxologist, or the wax but the whole experience exceeded my expectations & was virtually pain free! I have now had 2 appointments at Waxlab, and both occasions were without question the best waxing services I've ever received. The facility is like a Swiss clinic in both its style and cleanliness. The owner is on-site and obviously oversees every detail and trains her staff to be just as attentive. Reception and appointment bookings are handled in a hospitality-level manner by a very professional young woman neatly dressed in surgical scrubs. A nice touch. My waxing services have been performed with great professionalism and unusual attention to detail by the owner herself. She clearly has perfected her technique - though I opted out of the free numbing cream which was offered, the hair removal session was the least painful in my experience. While I have no connection or interest in Waxlab, I really cannot say enough how impressed I was by this new studio. When a business is run in a truly exceptional manner I like to take the time to recognize their efforts. While selfishly I'd like to keep them a secret so that I'll always be able to get in any time, I understand they need new clients to grow and prosper. My first time getting a Brazilian I came to wax lab and I was very nervous about it but the friendliness and professionalism of the staff changed that right away. I have a condition called hidradenitis suppurativa and it is a condition that causes irritation on skin where thicker hair grows. Basically, my skin cannot stand the thickness of my hair. I get my Brazilians done here. My doctor recommended hair removal as a treatment to my condition. They take care of my condition extremely well and I have not had any flareups since waxing here. everyone there is always super nice and upbeat and the atmosphere is extremely professional.
