Most recently I went for my 40th birthday. I got my eye make up done and of course as always she did an amazing job. She asked me if I wanted to get my hair done and I said no I never like it when I get it done. I like a simple blow dry. She said let's try something new and if u don't like it then we can do a simple blow. She went out of her to make me happy and of course I loved it! She just did simple curls that last literally 12 hours! Both my make up and hair lasted all day! Best part about this is the price point! So affordable. I recommend her to all my friends!

Also, don't accidentally go into the nail salon next door. I did that on my first visit and it was super embarrassing.

I found out that this location is one of the few corporate locations which means it is not part of the franchise. I had noticed that it is a lot more beautiful than the other franchise locations including the decor and the special lighting. That's in the rooms. it definitely feels more luxurious than the other locations I booked the laser package for full legs for $1800 and was absolutely blown away by the new technology that they had purchased. I knew that EWC was going to invest in the most new and highest advanced technology available for laser. It uses a nitro system, which felt like there was cold puffs of water being sprayed onto my legs, it was for the most part painless. That being said, the negatives that I have are purely coming from a sanitation perspective, as I am also a New York State licensed waxer. Never once have I seen a single technician wear a pair of gloves. That is New York State law. I also can say with confidence that every single time the technician picks up Wax on a stick, she blows on it with her mouth, which is also against New York State law. No one has ever put pressure on the freshly waxed skin, which is a technique that I was personally taught in school, but make sure that I practice while working to ensure the least amount of pain for my clients. Lastly, this is more of a personal issue, but I feel no matter what time of day I come into the salon, whoever works on me has just eaten a meal and I have to hold my breath because of the odor being exhaled directly into my face. Overall, I think that the salon is conveniently located, and appears to be beautiful- the staff is very kind, but sanitation practices are not consistent at all.

The reviews did not disappoint! She asked me questions about the wedding, what dress I was wearing, and how I felt about a shade before she put it on. She wants you to feel comfortable and the makeup to look natural. She is very patient and kind. At one point, she told me to open my eyes and one of my eyes was red. She said she it was strange that only one eye turned red, since she applied the same exact eye shadow and liner to both eyes. Maybe some eye shadow particles fell in my eye, but I didn't feel anything. She was nervous, but she quickly reacted and got eye drops to apply to my eye. She stopped and waited for the eye drops to reduce the redness in my eyes. I had a hair appointment next door and she went over to inform the hair stylist that I was going to be late. It all turned out well and the redness in my eyes disappeared, thankfully! I would definitely come back again and have Sheila do my makeup again. Prices are fair and you really get great service.

She's cute, sassy, and real. Oh my gawd, no fake valley girl talk here. Treatment room is clean, gloves are always worn. All interactions were safe and sanitary, even during COVID. I go here for lash lifts. Despite my stubborn, unyielding thick lashes she'll make sure they're done right. Last time I was there she did. not. give. up. Those babies are curled. My only issue is sometimes the lifts don't last super long. Some folks get a full 5 weeks, I'm lucky if my lashes look good for 3-4. I don't know the brand perm solution but, it doesn't usually burn or bother me so I'll deal with it. This is relevant because I do have sensitive eyes and had some crappy experiences at a different spot. Currently lifts are $80, which is affordable considering bigger salons charge much more denaro. Lastly, her "coworker" Jordan is the best. ESPECIALLY when he asks for tummy rubs. Precious. Parking is cake in the train station lot.
