I come here regularly for brazilian waxes because instead of them being dreadful and a chore, the aestheticians really make the experience as good as it can be! They are easy to talk to and do amazing work all at the same time (HOW?!). The place is clean and cozy, with pleasant decor and even posters on the ceiling to help distract you. Wax Werks uses hard wax for these sensitive areas and they ensure the temperature is not too hot for you. They are amazing at getting all the hair you want gone! They take their time and ensure you get lasting results - this being said, the whole ordeal does not take much time at all. The price is reasonable and cheaper than other options out there. It is SO easy to make appointments through their website, which they confirm through text and send reminders. I definitely do look forward to coming when I need to! read more

I've had some horrible experiences at other places but wax werks was awesome. I was very comfortable and she did a great job!

I have had two different people wax my eyebrows here several times and both are great. They really take their time and make sure to not miss any stray hairs. I am the type of person who gets all of my hair/beauty appointments taken care of through groupon or other discount sites, but tried this place out because I was in a hurry one time and will not go anywhere else anymore. The cost is more than I usually spend but reasonable and worth it ($17). I actually can go longer in between waxing without my brows getting out of control than I could at other places. The staff are friendly and basically there's nothing not to like. I definitely recommend this place to anyone! read more

Yesterday I had my first ever Brazilian. I was super nervous. Jamie was my waxer. Jamie made me feel completely comfortable from beginning to end. It wasn't as painful as I thought it would be. I had no redness or discomfort after the service. I will definitely return. The shop is super cute too. read more

This place is wonderful! After reading the reviews, I made an appointment to have my eyebrows done. I was thoroughly impressed! Hannah did a wonderful job and spent so much time perfecting my brows. I have very sensitive skin and the process did not hurt a bit or leave any sign of irritation. This is the best waxing place ever!! The environment is so inviting and Hannah was so welcoming. I made my appointment on-line and within a few hours I received a text confirming my appointment. They made the whole process, from setting up an appointment to getting the brows done, completely easy. I highly recommend Wax Werks!! read more

Had some waxing done for the first time today and my experience was great. Owner answered my multiple questions and made me feel completely comfortable. I've already scheduled my next appointment! read more

RoseMarie and Hannah were very friendly when I walked in. It's a modest little wax salon that made me feel very comfortable. RoseMarie was very fast and getting my ingrowns was not nearly as painful as I expected. The price for a full Brazilian was very reasonable and if I lived in Tucson, I would definitely be a regular. read more

Horrible Brazilian wax experience, have gotten waxed before and never left so unhappy. They did not get all the hair and it is more expensive than most places. Not worth it at all. read more

Professional & friendly service. Will definitely return! If you're thinking about it, give it a try, you wont regret it. Thanks Martha - you are hilarious! read more

This place is painful and unprofessional, I tried them out a couple times, and boy am I glad I switched to Sweet Cheeks! They blow Wax Werks out of the water. And yes I agree w some of the other customers having your dog in a waxing salon is a no go. read more

Martha squeezed me in for a last minute appointment. Upon arrival she was friendly and professional. The place was very clean and smelled nice. She was gentle and thorough! I plan to return in the future. * It's cool that she takes appointments via text! read more

Came for a bikini wax & loved this little shop. Martha has gone to great lengths to make it cute and inviting, and what a novel idea - a place just for waxing. I found Wax Werks on Yelp and thank all of you for your great posts, I will be back when in the area. read more

This is my favorite wax place in Tucson by far! I've been to multiple employees there for eyebrow waxes and they are always so friendly. Another benefit is they really take their time and pay attention to detail. It feels like you're in somebody's home because it is so cozy there. Love this place! read more

I just came home from my appointment today and I am very happy! I absolutely love the ladies down at Wax Werks. They are so sweet and welcoming. I just moved to Tucson about a month ago and was nervous I could not find a suitable waxing salon compared to my hometown. I actually prefer Wax Werks to the waxing salon back home that I have been going to for years. I can't stress enough how amazing the ladies are there. Thank you Martha and Hannah for such great service. read more

Bummer. I wanted this to be great but left with a huge piece of wax to deal with post bikini. Might as well wax myself? Also - the wax job is asymmetrical. I was concerned because the ratings were low and it didn't seem like the people working there had much interest in their business. Just not very friendly really. I won't be returning. Back to Sweet Cheeks. read more

Came here and would have preferred someone that had more experience. Have had several waxings prior and know that it is not the wax, but the technician that is at fault. Too many hairs broken and red patches that lasted days. Too feminine decor as well. read more

Went to this place today and had my first appointment with Hannah. She is an absolute sweetheart and gave me the least painful wax I've ever had. Can't say enough good things about the service and staff! read more

I was referred by a coworker to wax werks and read several positive reviews about their customer service Hannah answered the phone call when i called at 1pm and was able to get me in at 3:30 due to a cancelation. I was SO nervous to get a Brazilian wax, but Vanessa did an awesome job. She didn't try and make it seem like it was no big deal. She told me what to expect, answered my questions and walked me through everything! She told me how much one area would hurt compared to another, I can't say enough about how great the experience was. I honestly don't understand the bad reviews on here. read more

I've been going here for a couple of years and love it. Martha is very nice and sweet and I have yet to have an issue with any of the other girls work. It's a comfortable atmosphere for a guy and nothing but good conversations. I use to go all the way to european wax and always felt kind of weird, plus the price wasn't worth it. Martha will take great care of you and I have had perfect eyebrows every time for a fair price. read more

There is simply nowhere else in Tucson to get waxed! The ladies of Wax Werks are amazing professionals! I wish I could rate it higher!!

I've gone back a couple times since this incident. My brows were done for free the next time and I got them done yesterday by Tess. She was detail oriented and did an excellent job on my brows. read more

I got and appointment and came there to wax my buttocks area. The first thing that I noticed when I arrived was that the room and the place didn't seem quite clean and tidy which was kinda a red flag. Anyway, Katie came and asked me to remove my clothes and put them on top of a box in the room because there was no other place to put them! After that, she started waxing which felt kinda rushed. Anyway, I paid 45 dollars for that and I went home. Then I noticed that some parts of the area is not waxed. I was upset as I dedicated my time to take a shower and drive there and do the waxing. So I called them and spoke with the owner and here is what she said. She told me 45 dollars is not much and we only do the cheeks with that and you're supposed to pay more for waxing the area between the cheeks and the anus. That's dishonest and ugly. At the very least, they could have let me know that I need to pay more. But I actually have done waxing the whole area for 30 dollars in another studio before. So that's too much in my opinion. Go to another studio. read more

Martha is great! I have been getting waxed here for several years and the price and the customer service can't be beat!

the first time i went Michelle did a great job on my brows. The second time not so much! First of all she burned my eye lid! She waxed the same area twice and then took off the inner area of my left brow!! which the 1st time I went told her not to do that! So, before she ripped off the second one she tried to say they were even!!! ugh, NO I don't think so!! So to make them LOOK even she had take off the other side after I had to say something!!! Never Again!! read more

The prices are reasonable and everyone there is very good at what they do. Overall my experience was fantastic! read more

I just went to Wax Werks a few days ago and it was the best experience yet! I'd been there before and have always had amazing results! Michelle is always effecient and has wonderful bed-side manner! What's more is that I did not have time to drop my dog off at day care before I went to my appointment and they were SO accomodating! They let him come into the room with us and he slept on the cool floor while I was getting my services done! As these ladies really go the extra mile to make sure that you feel comfortable, and they do a terriffic job, I won't go anywhere else to get my waxing done!! Thank you ladies for being so wonderful! read more

Exceptional service! I have been coming to Waxwerks for a couple years now and have no plans of ever switching! The staff is friendly, professional, and always does a great job. I mostly see Martha and she is top notch! I have been getting waxing services ever since I was a teenager and I am pretty picky and particular. This place is the best waxing salon in Tucson bar none. I recommend this place to all of my friends because I love coming here! read more

I love the shabby chic décor almost as much as I love Hannah. I came here before, during, and now after my pregnancy and at my last appointment she didn't judge my request to keep somewhat of a horizontal landing strip in order to avoid waxing over my c-section scar (TMI, anyone?). She even encouraged me to bring my newborn along so she could meet him whereas I feel most salons would have been annoyed. We chatted like old friends, and she definitely makes getting hair yanked out of your most sensitive follicles as enjoyable as it could possibly be! read more

Martha at Wax Werks was great. Just went for my first waxing in a while and she was friendly, professional and funny. The place was clean and the waxing ( bikini) was surprisingly not painful. She also did a great job on my brows and the price was very reasonable. I will be going back! read more

I went to wax werks monthly for my face wax. I was always nervous doing a face wax and I had bad experiences in other salons. Wax werks uses a different type of hard wax that works very well on the face. My skin would glow and never peel afterwards. I loved this place. Unfortunately I had to move :( read more

Today I completed my second waxing with Martha. I have gotten my legs waxed and a men's version of a Brazilian completed. I must say it was pretty painful at first but once it was all said and done, the finished product was awesome. I've never felt more confident about the way I look and feel. The ladies at Wax Weeks really know what their doing. The ladies make you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in the door. Thanks again ladies for making feel comfortable and also getting my pain threshold up. read more

I would give more stars if that was possible!!! I was able to request my appointment online which was super convenient; Martha contacted me via text and was accommodating for my last minute request. She scheduled me with Michelle who was fantastic! Very friendly and great at waxing...the best wax I've had done in some time. Also, the least painful! The prices were very competitive. I will go back whenever I'm in this area. read more

Michelle is fantastic! I had a wonderful experience at the salon. She completely put me at ease and made the experience almost painfree. I had two areas done and she did a great job explaining what she was doing and the after care instructions. I have already booked my next two appointments.
