If you've ever traveled the Delmarva Peninsula you may also have used 113 as a shortcut from Delaware One to Route 13. The route runs closer to the ocean and cuts time from my trips to Brooklyn. The only problem with this route is its long forested area in Maryland before the intersection with Highway 13. The Royal Farms in Selbyville, DE is a welcome sight before crossing the state line. It's on the correct side of the road for an easy entrance & exit on my return to Virginia. Royal Farms offers multiple rows of well lit gasoline pumps. The inside of the store offers a large variety of snacks, soda & coffees. A bathroom stop is also a plus. The grill & chicken offerings are always closed at the hours that I visit. So I can't speak to its offerings, although the chain itself is known for good chicken. The lure of this Royal Farms for me is location. Thank you for being a welcome stop on my drives home.
