Wanted to check out one of the well known convenience stores of Florida. I was not sure of what I was walking into. It is not that big of a space from what I gather they are well known for their quick service food counter for an any time of the day of the meal. We came at night and my daughter went with an Italian panini type of sandwich. She said it was OK for convenience store food. I was intrigued by the 5$ breakfast offerings and can't wait to try those before we leave. Another plus was the freestyle machine in place. One of my more preferred places to stop for lunch! The staff at this location is always so quick with orders and organized. I work about 5 minutes away and will always choose to get a wrap or sandwich here over stopping at anything else along the road. This was one of the better Wawa locations I've been to. Surprisingly, it wasn't busy when I stopped by, which was nice. I placed a mobile order for the Chicken Salad Club Sandwich, and if you haven't tried it yet, I highly recommend as it's a really good sandwich! However, there was a small hiccup with my order. My mobile order was marked ready for pickup at 6:35 pm, but when I arrived, it wasn't placed in the pickup window. After waiting about 15 minutes, I finally had to ask an employee for an ETA. It turns out my sandwich had been sitting on a counter inside the employee area the whole time. It would've been nice if it had been where I could grab it without the wait. Lol You can get a handmade hoagie and order through a kiosk to go! Also the have bbq sandwiches and cheeseburgers made to order! Especially if you're going to parks and don't have alot if time! They also make coffees and hand blended coffees in the morning to order at kiosk! Which are all delicious! Also get the wawa app to earn rewards for free food and drinks! This was my first time in a Wawa and OMG... I live in the panhandle and I think out of all 4 parks, I'm gonna miss Wawa the most. My sons pizza looked so delicious that my husband ate some of it... I had a ham and Turkey sandwich that had enough meat for an additional sandwich. If I would've known it was gonna be like eating a steak in the middle, I would've gotten a smaller size. No complaints at all about Wawa! I love their iced coffee, both their speciality ones and the fill yourself ones. They have mocha, mint, and vanilla flavors for the iced coffee. It is very reasonably priced as well! I usually get the medium and it comes out to 3.50. I've also tried some of the prepackaged donuts/pastries which arent too bad either. I really liked the pull apart bun! They also have so many food options. You place your order at one of the kiosks and then get a receipt. After, you have to go to the register and pay before you can pick your food up at the counter. You can also order ahead on the app and take advantage of their rewards. Friendly cashier but sandwich order for wife was a mess - 4 or 5 things wrong. I was missing one ingredient. Yes I checked the receipt to confirm my order. When my name was called, because my name is so common I asked to confirm my number. Nothing - no response. I asked again, she pushed (threw-ish) the bag at me. Umm, what? They were busy but not swamped. I preordered using the awful Wawa app. Why awful? I tried 5 times to add my credit card (iOS). You can add all the info but there is no submit or enter. Wtf?
