I've been driving for over five years and have visited TA truck stops in almost every state. If…read morethere's one thing that seems consistent across their locations, it's how slow and inefficient the service is. There is clearly a management issue. Simple tasks that a local roadside mechanic can finish in 15 minutes somehow take three hours at TA. I understand that mechanics are hard to hire and retain, and TA may be trying to keep things relaxed for their employees. But it doesn't make sense to pay mechanics 10-12 hours of labor when only two hours of actual work they're doing all day. Trucking is all about efficiency; being fast, precise, and on time and these delays cost drivers money and disrupt schedules. These shops also desperately need equipment updates. We literally waited 25 minutes just for an air pump to fill a spare tire to 100 PSI. That's unacceptable for a facility that's supposed to keep trucks moving. TA needs to seriously rethink its service model... better management, performance-based incentives, or a completely new system that prioritizes speed and accuracy. Something has to change, because the current setup slows everyone down.

We felt singled out, discriminated against, and racially profiled for our skin color while being followed the entire time while shopping. I made an effort to get the name of the employee that was following us but they walked out of the building before I could ask or look at the name badge ... how convenient..... Before my attempt to get the name of the employee following my sister and I, while we were checking out at the self check out the employee at the register overheard us complaining about this uncomfortable encounter, instead of apologizing about the issue an going to a manager. The other employee left the register to then pull his colleague(Chris) to the back to tell them that we were complaining about how uncomfortable they were making us. Which is why Chris avoided me a left the store when I returned for for their name. I was able to ask another employee for the name of the person that was following us in the store and they were happy to let me know their name is Chris. I do not recommend coming to this store at all. No one is ever at the register if you want to bye something from behind the counter and staff seem to be very prejudiced against those who are ethnically diverse. With the exception of some not all. Wish they had them out where I live! I walked in, and was greeted by my server Jennifer. Super nice super sweet lady, told me I could sit wherever I wanted and got my beverage for me while I browsed the menu. I typically get the same hash brown bowl, but I wanted to try something different and I ordered the Texas chicken sandwich with hash browns and country gravy. It was so good, I'm glad I tried it cuz now I can go back to my Norm next time hahaha! I asked Jennifer for some Louisiana hot sauce, and she gave me Tabasco hahaha but it was close enough! That girl on the flat top was whipping up delicious farw the ENTIRE time I was there. Poor kid needs to take a break! She was really hustlin'! Oddly enough, all the food she was making, I think was take out orders, because there is only one other couple in there besides me, but a few people came in and got food to go. But there is one employee there who wasn't really doing much, because they weren't really busy, and I noticed the waffle station was absolutely destroyed. Batter everywhere, I just think people should take pride more in what they do. Bar seating table top could have been wiped down, but other than those two things, excellent food, excellent people, and excellent experience!
