Wawa is hands down the best gas station chain in the nation for their food, service and cleanliness but this location was an absolute sight for sore eyes and did not disappoint. Clean, well-stocked, well-lit store and parking lot and fast and delicious food - they cannot be beat! But the staff here is what really set this location apart for me. All the ladies prepping the food and ringing me out were so lovely and warm in the midst of my travels, they made this stop a cut above the rest. This is an extremely busy Wawa right off 95 south. I've stopped here numerous times and they are always consistent and quick. Today I stumbled upon a sip-topia. It's basically a special on specialty drinks such as chai teas, smoothies, and milkshakes. I ordered the peach mango smoothie with whipped cream. I love WaWa! The subs and drinks are always so good. When ever I visited the East coast I make sure to stop here. My favorite item it the 6 inch italian hoagie. There frozen drinks are tasty as well when I visited the 16oz drinks were $1.99. You can't beat that with a stick! Their speed is what I am most impressed with. You can order/pay and recieve a sandwhich and frozen drink in under 10 minutes. Which is great for me because I hate long wait times. Everything can be ordered on a touch screen computer. This place is beyond futuristic other chains need to take notes. I suggest everyone head to a WaWa ASAP you won't be disappointed. read more

I just stopped here for an iced latte and a sandwich. The coffee was revolting, so I took it back, thinking maybe they had made some mistake. Instead, the girl gave me a five minute run down of what I had ordered (an iced latte with an extra shot) and said it didn't have flavoring, but she could add it. After I clarified that no, that's what I always order, it hadn't been a mistake, no I didn't want flavoring or sugar it was just made incorrectly, her manager comes over and we do the whole thing again. Look, I get that it's fast food, and I really wasn't expecting perfection, but at no point were the two employees like "hey, sorry. How can we fix this?" The conversation went immediately into accusing me of ordering something inherently gross-tasting. At one point I said, "no I know what I ordered, it's what I always order. I really like coffee." The server said, "it's not coffee it's espresso." So, she really taught me a lesson. I was really nice and non-accusatory but did get frustrated after a bit of his, say thanks anyway and start to walk away, at which point they did say "we can remake it with flavor" (nope, still not what I ordered or what I wanted) "or, I guess we can give you your money back?" I didn't take the do-over or the money, I just really wanted the girl to know she'd done it wrong (and want to fix it/do it right because lattes are kind of basic) and not a lecture on my beverage preferences. negative 5 stars -- caution: wawa hoagies and sizzlies, etc. are: all salt!! enough to kill you as they are wayyy over the limit for safe salt intake!!! especially if you eat two servings of most wawa foods and have high blood pressure!!!! the other foods that wawa serve are enough to give a person a stroke or heart attack!! their full menu listings and business practices are not easy to find because of the way they hide their food information on the computer!!! i won't be going back and i advise you not to eat at wawa - just say no, unless you dont suffer from high blood pressure. read more

Stopped by here on the way north and on the way south while traveling on 95. We pass by this while trying to avoid one of the DE tolls (there are too many there). We fill up gas and get some food. Not a bad deal. Gas is usually a good price, as it always is at Wawa. Stop in for a bathroom break or just to get out of the car. I've gotten coffee here and a sandwich. Also some pastry. Overall, it's what you'd expect..what more can you ask for? Would probably stop by here in the future while traveling along 95 and avoiding one of the DE tolls. read more

While going to UD, I lived off of Wawa. Breakfast, lunch and dinner.. Wawa was there for me. (I generally used the location on Rt. 4 at the time.) Returning several years after graduating, I discovered this location had been seriously expanded to include the gas station portion I'd seen elsewhere, but not in Newark. Everything else, however, remained the same. The Sizzli breakfast sandwiches are still bomb. They still make the awesomest tuna salad subs around, and the cash registers still make the same video game sound effects with every scan and purchase. LOVE it. I know it's just a convenience store, but to me, Wawa was and is so much more. read more

One of the better wawas I've been too. Certainly one of the cleanest, and the staff are always smiling and very professional. One of the first things I always look at in a wawa is the coffee station bc most times I'm stopping in for a quick cup of coffee. This station is always stocked neatly the lids are all on the creamers and sugar piles aren't gathering on the counter. Haven't had any food from here so I can't speak on the quality. However, it seems they are faster then most wawas when it comes to getting the order done and moving the line along during the breakfast and lunch rush. read more

I love this Wawa! I was so glad when they built it so I didn't have to go to the sketchy gas station right off 95 when I was cutting through to avoid the Delaware toll. It's well lit outside near the pumps, which is super important for the hours I usually pass through. Inside the store, everything is usually very well stocked and the sandwiches are made perfectly to order. The parking lot is my only complaint. It is challenge sometimes, but I blame that on poor drivers not on Wawa. read more

Amazing convenient store/gas station. Better than QT back on the west coast for a few reasons: The food at the hot deli behind the counter, amazing. I probably had one of the best cheesesteaks ever here. Yes, better than Pat's and Geno's, especially worth it considering it was $5. They have a spicy jalapeno cheese sauce that is probably one of the most amazing/unique things I have ever tried. Tons of drink, options, and even a "barista" preparing fresh espresso and espresso based drinks. I happened to stop at this particular Wawa, but all of them are great, particularly the ones with gas stations happen to be of pretty high quality. read more

A few years ago they revamped this Wawa and its one of my favorites. Across the board Wawa is a delightful gas station/ convenience store. It's generally very clean, well lit and all the food is fresh. No suspect week old egg salad sandwich here (side eye at you, 7-11 grab and go case). They do a brisk business especially in the morning. Sometimes the coffee bar gets a little messy with spilled coffee and sugar but the woman that keeps an eye on that area is very responsive to requests. The other day, I asked her to check the hot chocolate and she had it out and replaced immediately. I literally can't imagine that happening at any other convenience store. She's very friendly and is always cleaning or restocking something. Plus, Wawa just added flavor toppings and mini marshmallows to the coffee bar. Mini marshmallows. Yes!!! The women In the deli section are on point. I've bought an embarrassing number of subs here and there hasn't been a single mistake or bad sub. WAWA out here is the corner store for Elkton. They have what you need and good sandwiches for a quick, cheap, munchie. With little to no convenience stores in the vacinity, this is the go to snack shack/cigarette shoppe. Located off I-95 at the county line. read more

We stop here just about every time we visit my in-laws. The location is convenient, the gas is usually on the cheaper end and the bathrooms are mostly clean. It's also a nice plus that they have a pretty large, grassy area adjacent to the store that we've used to toss a ball around to our dogs on certain trips. read more

I go to this WAWA everyday and up till tonight have always had a good experience. The coffee is good, and the staff were always polite and friendly. But tonight a lady w/ a disability (wheelchair bound) came in while I was there and asked the woman working the register is someone could help her put air in her tires. The employee then asked for assistance over her headset. A young man came out from behind the deli counter w/ his coat to assist. The shift leader (I think) yelled saying "absolutely not, it's a liability" loud enough for everyone in the store to hear. The young man then asked what he was supposed to do, he said he would go out and help so she told him to go take out trash. (Again, very loudly) I get rules are rules but this situation could have been handled a lot better. I was very disappointed in the employees behavior. read more
