Our plane landed at 1030pm on Independence Day. After we picked up the rental car it was around 1130pm. There were only a few places that opened with food. I called around and all of the restaurants that I called are either closed or will be closed at midnight. We decided to get a few quick food items to go and stopped by here. I frequent Wawa's anytime I visit Orlando is this is the Wawa I always come back to. It's clean and the service is fast. I love that you can customize almost any item. I love their hoagies, I think the paninis are new but also a favorite. The mac and cheese is also a big rec from me. They have so many coffee options so you can get anything and customize it to your liking. I love the cold brew but it's on the stronger side. This Wawa was fully stocked with everything you need for a road trip or just a quick trip. The coffee was bold, hot and fresh, and they have even stepped up their menu to accommodate your breakfast, lunch and dinner request with fresh breakfast scrambled egg bowls, lunch hoagies, delicious soups, and dinner mac & cheese or chicken specials just to name a few. Wawa has also amped up their drinks selection with more coffee choices, more fountain drinks selections, a larger selection of beer, and now they have a decent selection of wine to choose from. I love stopping at Wawas when vacationing to the eastern portion of the US or down south, as there's none in central Ohio. They are opening one, but it's going to open in 2024 - that's like eternity (sigh, tear). This Wawa was the closest to our Vrbo house, but not my favorite. Since Wawa first started on the east coast, I've always had better experiences at those locations - they tend to offer more fresh-made food options to order at their kiosks. Their pizza... I kept having people tell me how good it was so we finally tried it. Ummm Grosssss! Me and my boys agreed it was one of the worst pizzas we've ever tasted. Not sure what people are thinking when they say it's good. Weird!! Also quite pricy for what it is. More than double the price of a dominos or Little Caesars (at over $14.00 with tax for the small pizza) and the crust is much thinner as well. Stopped by for dinner because life. I like how clean the inside is and that there are multiple employees out on the floor. It was super satisfying seeing one of the managers (?) or an employee step in once he saw how backed up the kitchen area was getting. They were starting to get super behind, so he stepped right in to get everything in order and take charge. A customer's order was incorrect and they quickly made her a new order. I was getting to do a five star review because this Wawa has everything I need until my husband told me that he had to get water to wash his hands from the water fountain. ROFL. I am not sure why, but that was hilarious. I tried to go back and take a pic but the next guy in line was getting his water from the water fountain too! There was a whole line of people telling each other to get their water from the hall and then come back in to wash their hands. Don't worry, no one washed their hands in the fountain. They just needed water. There are 8 chargers at the Tesla Charger. Its not a super charger but it still is fairly quick. If you want, you can order from the charger and they will bring items out to you. We have not tried that yet but will soon. I had to go in today for the bathroom instead of just a drink or food. I was hesitant since some bathrooms are less than desired. I was so impressed that the soap worked, the water worked, and it had the hand dryer with the UV light, AND a handle to open the door with your arm and not your hand. It took a quick second to figure out how to put my arm in the handle but I was so impressed. Then to come out and see guys getting water from the water fountain was odd and comical. At least people are washing their hands and showing their resourcefulness. I am sure they will fix that before the next time we stop by. read more

Perhaps I'm the only person on the planet that isn't impressed by a string of convenience stores called Wawa. I mean, that's what it is, a convenience store. And there are a lot of them. I don't get it. They do sullenly serve sub sandwiches which you order via computer. I like that part since the sandwich makers are generally "over it" and minimizing the potential for human interaction is a good solution. Perhaps the fact that gas is relatively cheap is the attraction. I don't know. If you want an impressive convenience store, try Autogrill in Italy. Fresh pasta, fresh pastry, and proper espresso served for your roadside dining pleasure. read more

Quick, and easy to use air inflator. Was really not expecting to come here since we were borrowing a car and expected it to be in the best shape that it needed to be in. But it couldn't be helped. Think of a WaWa as an immaculately kept convenience store on steroids. There is a hot sandwich stand in the middle of the store that has a novel ordering system (touch screen). I ordered a custom panini with roast beef, spinach, roasted red peppers, tomato, provolone, and parmesan. It came hot and fresh after I paid for it at the cash register using my printed ticket. There are also a number of pre-made wraps, deserts, and snacks available near the stand. They also have a walk-in freezer for beer. The most important part is that the restrooms are clean!! It's sad that WaWa isn't the industry standard country-wide. I hope they expand to many different areas so people see what the hype is all about! read more

This location has just opened and is offering Grand Opening free coffee until December 28th, 2014! Very clean and staffed by friendly people. Wawa has a great little sandwich counter and you can order smoothies or special coffee (orders are placed at a screen and food / drink is picked up when ready). If you don't want to wait a few minutes, there are premade sandwiches and snacks, and a coffee bar offering different flavors of coffee and different creamers and milk. There are no Wawa stations where I live. I just love saying the name of it LOL Stopped here while on vacay. Similar to 7-11 but better! They have a lot of liquor options. =) An entire walk in freezer section just for beers! Stop at Wawa if you are thirsty, hungry, have a headache or just need gas. I have never been to a WAWA before. Im from Miami, and didn't have any close enough to me yet to visit and try it out. There are several currently under construction around me though, (I can't wait)! On the road heading back to Miami, we stopped at this WAWA in Orlando. I didn't expect to like food out of a gas station, but I did. It was definitely a different set up than the norm, and it took me a minute to figure it out. You order from a screen, right down to the condiments, sides and drinks. It was very easy and fast. The food was surprisingly good and it was made fresh to order in front of me, which was nice. The only con, was the customer service. It appeared that the employees were all HS kids that didn't care about the "hospitality" part of their job. Besides that it was an over all good experience. The food I ate from this location on Sunday 1/2/22 gave me food poisoning while pregnant in my third trimester. I am 100% sure that's what gave me food poisoning. The fries were so stale they tasted like they were made 6+ hours prior and left out. I ate 1 fry and tossed the rest in the trash instantly, they were inedible. The cheesesteak is what gave me the food poisoning however, and I spent the whole night puking it out. I know the food poisoning was due to the cheesesteak because that's literally the only thing I ate differently than my husband and daughter all week long and I was the only one to get sick. Plus, it came out nearly the same way it looked when I ate it. This has never happened to me before at any other Wawa location. Avoid this one! Not to mention my husband selected curbside pickup and followed the instructions in the app and no one ever brought the food out - he had to go inside eventually to get it anyways. I asked when the next set of bagel sandwiches would be out and was told about 5 mins. I went and checked out with my drinks and waited. After 15 mins, I asked again as it was way past 5 mins. The associate went to the back to ask and came out a few mins later to say it would be more than 10 mins. When does it take over 30 mins to make a bagel sandwich?! Like every Wawa, a bad day here is better than any other gas station or store. Store is always clean. Pumps rarely ever have a line. We have to use Premium fuel, and they are often 10-15 cents cheaper with a higher grade of premium than most others. The variety of food is just borderline stupid. One should not crave a gas station for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner. Wawa tea is also a staple in our home, just as it was as a child in Jersey. This is my "home" WaWa, the one I visit every single time I can when coming to Disney World. I love almost everything about it. Most items from the 'deli' are delicious (the breakfast bowl leaves a bit to be desired). The BBQ Chicken Quesadillas are divine! My daughter loves the Mac & Cheese. The chicken fingers are pretty standard heat & eat fare. The Grab & Go cooler has basics like pudding, juice, yogurt, etc... and my favorite - The Meat Cup™. It's a cup with cheese cubes, pepperoni slices and crackers. I fell in love with WaWa because of this. Most convenience stores run low on choices that offer a savory, high protein option. This is great! The bathrooms are always clean and they smell fresh. The floors of the store are always clean. The ordering touch-screens all are clean and in working order. I don't drink coffee, but that area seems to be in good order as well! Now, the bad... Don't worry... there isn't much. The past dozen or so times we've been there (at various times in the past 6 months, am, pm, middle of hte night), they have NOT had any crushed ice in their machines. I asked at one point if the machine was broken and I was told by a girl in the 'deli' that it happens all the time because "they {whoever they are} let everyone come in here and fill up coolers and stuff" and so they run out of ice. This past visit, the machines were down multiple times because they set the machines to do updates at 3:30 in the a.m. Normally not a busy time, but this past visit was during Disney's Marathon Weekend - so MUCH busier than normal! Twice, we had to not have any fountain beverage at all. The restrooms - though clean - do not have paper towels. They only have Xcelsior hand dryers. Those are very loud, and I hate dryers (they only blow germs around!). They do not have typical Gas Station Food. Sometimes, all I really want is a good plastic boat filled to the brim with tortilla chips and spicy melted cheese (a la 7-Eleven). That is not a thing at WaWa. You also will not find a roller of hot dogs, sausages and other questionable tube-shaped food. All in all, I love WaWa and will continue to go back, but dang it!! I will start off by openly admitting that I LOVE Wawa. I used to live near them and no longer do, so when I see them in my travels I get a little too excited. If you've never been to one.... go inside!! And grab a bite. I'll gas up here, but I'm only here for the food. They have excellent soups and sandwiches.... hot and cold. Even wraps and salads in their cold cases if you're in a rush. You can order what you like or order a "favorite" which is already a "set" list and then customize from there. I was here for a week for a conference and literally ate here 3 times for dinner and bought 4 sandwiches to bring for my lunches.... so yeah, I'm a bit biased.
